Persephone is the Goddess of Spring, belittled by everyone for her minimal divine duties, and overshadowed by her Goddess of Harvest mother, Demeter, who always try to curb Persephone's growth as a Goddess.

Hades is the King of the Underworld, feared by mortals and hated by gods for his reputation as the cold and merciless Lord of the Dead.

Through their melancholic loneliness, they found comfort and understanding in each other. Persephone brings peace and life to Hades' desolate soul and realm. Hades gives Persephone strength and courage to be the Iron Queen of the Underworld that she is destined to be.
