You hadn't even noticed that Konoha had taken the bags from your own hands, and was now carrying them.

You snapped out of your thoughts and were brought back to reality by Konoha, whose face was now a few inches away from yours.

"(Y/N)..." She whispered, almost seductively.

"K-Konoha, what are you doing?" You gently pushed her and she immediately gave you a pout. "You meanie... It was the only way to get your attention" she said in a way that made it seem like a complain.

"Sorry, it's just that... I bumped into a girl and she sort of reminded me of someone I've seen before" you explained her.

Konoha sighed. "So you were with someone else after all" she took your hand and started to walk, leading you through the crowd. "That could've been dangerous. What if she were to attack you? This place is so crowded, I wouldn't have been able to find you in time" she scolded you, even though her tone was sweet and kind. She really sounded like a worried big sister.

"Yeah, I'm sorry" you gripped her hand a bit tighter, slightly afraid of getting lost among the crowd.

Fortunately, you were able to make your way through it and you were currently standing in front of a fountain. Surprisingly, there weren't many people, probably because they were busy buying stuff in the other part of the district.

"Uff we finally made it!" Konoha let out a sigh in relief and then offered you a smile. "I'm glad that I didn't lose you this time. I wouldn't have been able to forgive myself if something bad happened to my dear (Y/N)"

You suppressed a laugh. "You're such a drama queen, you know that?" You teased her.

"Whaaat? It's normal that I'm worried about you-- oh. Hey, isn't that over there?" Konoha was now looking at a certain direction, so your (E/c) eyes followed her gaze.

Standing next to the opposite side of the fountain was the vampire girl you were looking for. She was carrying a few bags, probably full of delicious food or ingredients.

"Heeey, silver-haired lady!" Konoha shouted, waving cheerfully at her. Said female turned around and instantly spotted you two. Then she walked to your position.

"Are we done here?" She asked.

"Yeah! But... I don't think it's a good idea to leave right away. We should wait for a while til there are less people walking around" she suggested. "Besides, I'm pretty sure (Y/N) would like to explore around the merchant district for a bit longer" she wrapped an arm around your shoulder, smiling convincingly.

"Is that so?" Sasha raised an eyebrow, giving you a expectant look.

"Yes. I mean, if that's okay, then sure" you replied, slightly shrugging.

Sasha sighed but she didn't complain either. "Alright. Where do you want to go now?" She asked. Apparently, she intended on going with you, which you found quite nice of her.

"We've already seen plenty of clothes, so why don't we go and check the food?" Konoha looked at you.

"I'm a bit curious about what you usually eat here in Vexlord, so sure. Let's go" you responded, feeling a bit excited about it.

Time had passed rather quickly for you. It was no longer morning, and as Konoha had said before, there weren't as many people as before. The two girls had taken you to some markets to show you the food that was being sold there. In the first one, you were a bit disappointed when you found out it wasn't anything out of the ordinary as it looked like any other market in you world, selling the same stuff and everything.

However, they told you that it was, after all, a 'human market'. You raised an eyebrow at their words, but soon after, realised the meaning behind them. In the second place you went to, the food was... Was it really food though? They told you that the food was gathered from a 'magic forest'. There were weird purple tentacles, multicolor eggs, orange plants... Even eye balls! In your opinion, they were the kind of 'ingredients' an evil witch would use to poison someone or curse them.

After a long day, your legs were starting to feel numb with all that walking...

"I'm so tired..." You mumbled to yourself, then took a quick glance at the girls walking beside you, each one at each side. They were carrying more bags, since they had bought more 'food' from the places you went to. "So... What did you buy?" You asked. You hadn't really noticed since each one of you were focused on buying or looking for their own things.

Sasha was the first one who answered. "Money is not a problem, so I have bought the highest quality mortal blood" she said proudly.

You gave her a horrified look. "T-They sell that here?" You gulped.

Sasha smirked. "I am kidding. It's not human blood, so don't worry" she assured you. However, the fact that they sold blood as though it was a normal drink still bothered you.

'Note to self: Never ask vampires about what they eat or buy'

"What about you, Konoha?" You asked. Knowing that she was angel, the purest of all creatures, her food would be more... Decent, right?

"I'm glad that you asked. To be honest, I prefer to eat 'mortal food'" then, she showed you what was inside her bag.

You looked inside and sweatdropped.

'Chips, cola, sweets, nachos...'

"Really? I thought angels were... I don't know, healthier?" You smiled nervously.

"On the other hand, us vampires are the healthiest creatures. The proteins blood contain... They are the best for our organism" Sasha stated proudly.

'Honestly... What's wrong with these girls'

"And for the others? What did you pick up?" You asked. I mean, you were already shocked by hers, so knowing about the others wouldn't do any harm, right?

"Hm let me see..." Konoha checked the food. "Meat for our tsundere wolf, more meat for the sleepy fox and fruit and vegetables for the annoying demon" she said. "We keep our true natures a secret, so we kinda got used to human's ordinary food" she said that last part in a lower voice in case other could hear her.

You thought you had heard something interesting. "Is Akane vegetarian?" You asked, slightly surprised but curious at the same time.

'A vegetarian demon? Well, that's new'

"Not exactly. Let's just say she's a fit person. She even wakes up early to go to the forest and train! Can you believe that?" The angel said as though what the demon did was wrong. Konoha... Who would've thought she was a lazy angel.

'Oh, a sporty demon, I see'

The three of you continued walking and chatting, and it wasn't long before you reached the Sasha's house.

As you had already expected, you were the last ones to arrive. Maya was in the kitchen, organising the different plants she had gathered during the time she was in the forest. Hannah and Akane welcomed you, and you found out that they had been the first ones to get back home. A wide variety of weapons and potions were now lying on the table of the kitchen.

"By the way, what took you so long?" Maya asked without looking at you as she was still working.

"We decided it was better to wait until there were less people. And we also showed (Y/N) around the place, since she had never been there" Sasha explained as Konoha and her left the bags on the side of the room.

Akane patted you on the back, her incredible strength caused you to almost fall.

'Damn, isn't she strong...'

"Girl, you look really cool wearing that" she gave you a thumbs up, grinning proudly at you. You thanked her with a light smile.

"Yeah..." Hannah's cheeks turned slighty pink.

Maya, feeling curious, stopped doing what she was doing and turned to look at you. She quickly went back to work but she was now blushing madly.

"I guess you don't look bad... Better than your old clothes anyway" Maya admitted, not daring to look at you.

You couldn't help but giggle softly and also thanked her.

An hour later, you had finished organising the things each group had brought. Furthermore, you had been able to rest for twenty minutes or so.

Once break time was over, Sasha had told you to meet up in the living room as soon as possible, to decide what you would do next.

At the moment, you were sitting on the couch with Hannah and Konoha, while Maya, Sasha and Akane were standing up.

"We have a few more days to get ready before we head to the Capital... Right?" Hannah spoke. She was the most laid-back girl but it looked like she also knew when to act serious.

"That's right. We will probably set off in four or five days" Maya was the next one to talk. "It'd be great if we could start our journey later than that, but we can't wait any more time, because with each second that passes, Mythest and Antropo grow stronger, and so does the hatred between them". If you hadn't met her before, you would think she is a calm and serious girl that knows how to keep her cool in any kind of situation.

"Exactly. And because of that, you" Akane pointed at you. "Will have to learn how to use a weapon. 'Cause we'll have to fight our enemies in order to survive" she said with a confident grin. The demon girl seemed like an intrepid person, someone who seeked adventures and challenges.

"If it comes to that, we will obviously do our best to protect you. But still, it'd be useful if you knew at least how to handle a weapon" Konoha added. She could be overprotective sometimes, but that was just her nature as an angel.

"We don't have much time left, but with some intensive training, we could teach you the basics" Akane stated.

"I understand. I'll do my best then!" You said with a determined look on your face.

They were making a tremendous effort, they were willing to take a huge risk just to help a human girl they just met. That's why you couldn't stay behind. You had to fight for everyone's sake.

The girls seemed pleased by your answer. Maya and Konoha had a light blush on their faces and Hannah and Akane were smiling at you with admiration.

"It is good to hear that" the vampire girl gave you a slight smirk. "There is still plenty of time before the end of the day, so we should start soon. In thirty minutes, we are heading to the plains to begin our trainning, understood?" Sasha said in a serious tone.

Everyone said 'yes'.

She acted like the leader, but the others didn't seem to mind as Sasha was very intelligent and rational when it came to planning things like that.

Knowing that you would end up feeling exhausted soon, you decided to make use of the little time you had to rest a bit longer as the twenty minutes from before weren't enough.

You were lying on the bed, staring up at the ceiling. There was a (Fav/Genre) book beside you. You had been reading that for a while since you couldn't sleep. Konoha had been the one who recommended it, instead of Sasha —who knew a lot about any kind of books— since you thought it would have been awkward after what happened.

Maya wasn't an option either as she might have ended up hitting you with the book, as for Hannah, she didn't even read so... And Akane, well, she is only focused on physical trainning, or that's what she told you.

You sighed and closed your eyes.

You felt your body relax... But of course, that didn't last for too long.

"Wake up, soldier! We gotta work hard!" Akane opened the door with such force that it didn't break by miracle.

You almost fell from the bed due to the 'bang'.

"Ever heard of knocking??"

"No time for that. Come up, get your pretty ass downstairs" she smirked and walked to you. You got out of bed immediately, afraid of whatever she was going to do if you didn't follow her commands.

Akane grabbed you by the arm and you stared at her questioningly. She winked at you and picked you up. Before you could argue, she was already making her way downstairs while carrying you in bridal style.

You blushed in embarrassment.

Once you were outside, you approached the group of girls who quickly glared at Akane.

The demon smiled smugly and you were able to walk again.

"Jeez, what was that for?"

"Sorry pretty. My body moved by its own" she shrugged, looking as guilty as ever. You just rolled your eyes at her with a faint blush.

The girls were still glaring at her in... Jealousy?

"Corrupted demon, what do you think you are doing?" Konoha narrowed her eyes. Even angels could be terrifying...

"I was just helping our princess get ready soon" Akane gave her a challenging look.

"P-Princess?" You blurted out a bit taken aback.

Maya sighed in annoyance. "Stop it, you dorks. We don't have time for this"

"Huh? Aren't you annoyed that she gets to carry her like that?" Konoha asked the wolf girl.

"Of course I am— Wait, no! Ugh, that's not the point... Uhh... See you in the plains!" Maya blushed at her own words, then she turned around and started to walk away with a slightly annoyed expression. 

Sasha let out a sigh. "Hannah, let's get going" she said. Hannah nodded and calmy walked beside the crimson-eyed girl.

"Hey, wait for me!" You started to walk towards them but someone suddenly pulled you from the cape, preventing you from escaping from these two rival girls.

"Where do ya think you're going, pretty?" Akane smirked evilly.

"Yeah... You'll help us decide who's better and who deserves your lov-- I mean, who deserves to be your guardian" Konoha added.

'Oh no—'

Angel or demon? What a tough question.

Fifteen minutes had passed since the argument between these two girls, and well, things got rough for you.

At last, you arrived at the plains. It was spacious and there was nothing else around so you would be able to train perfectly well.

The first thing you noticed was that Maya and Sasha were already fighting. You watched in awe as the two powerful girls dodged the opponent's attacks.

Maya's eyes were yellow and she also had a fluffy tail and wolf ears. She charged towards the vampire girl at an abnormal speed.

Sasha's eyes were glowing red and she smirked arrogantly as bat wings appeared on her back and she effortlessly dodged her by flying to one side. Maya growled as she started to walk on all fours, as she quickened her pace, fur began to grow from her body as she turned into a familiar wolf. The one that saved you from that dragon boy last time.

"Wow..." You uttered.

Konoha placed a hand on your shoulder. "Pretty amazing, right? But that's to be expected from a werewolf and a vampire"

"Right. Sasha is a vampire but the sunlight doesn't harm her, how?" You asked curious.

Akane chuckled. "Well, that's because most of these rumors are false" she said, standing behind you. "Oh, yeah, we gotta start training. Follow me" she headed to where Hannah was, Konoha and you followed her.

The kitsune was organising and preparing the weapons they brought there.

"You're finally here. I'll train with you, since Maya and Sasha had already started" the fox girl said.

"Sure. Oh that's right" Akane turned to look at you. "(Y/N) you gotta choose a weapon first. That's why we brought so many types"

"Uh, which one do you recommend me?"

Akane shrugged. "That depends on your abilities and skills, human girl" she answered playfully.

You nodded and started to look at the weapons lying on the grass. There were literally all kinds of weapons, how did they even manage to carry all of them here?

Konoha, Akane and Hannah looked at you expectantly.

Which weapon will you choose?
