Soon after we went to stand on our podiums with some of us walking on top a few crates Monotube began his speech

"Now then, let's begin with a basic explanation of the studio trial, during the trial you'll present your arguments for who the killer is and vote for whodunnit, if you can figure whoever killed precious Anna Brisbin you all can continue on with the tour and the killer will get punished but if for some reason you figure out the wrong killer, vote incorrectly or don't vote, everyone besides the culprit will be punished and the culprit gets to leave scotfree now let's get this trial underway!" Monotube announced

"Hey uh, before we start I just wondering, what is this portrait next to me?" Blaze asked

The rest of us then turned to the portrait next to Blaze which had two microphones as a cross which made some of us a bit worried, nervous, maybe even scared

"Oh, that's Anna's placeholder, you see, even if somebody kiils a precious resident they still need to participate in some way so that everybody can be here equally" Monotube explained

"Alright then" Blaze said

"So guys, where should we start with?" Lauren asked

"I'm not sure, I mean, I've played Danganronpa but I still don't know how this case'll work" Silver said

"Well, we should start with the body, there must be a clue surrounding it" Weeby said

"Great idea, it'll probably give us a clue" Tiffany said

"Alright, let us start then" Waffles suggested

I then turned to Weeby who then nodded which made me nod back in agreement that I can do this, I hope I get this right

"So, the body was Anna Brisbin" DF said

"That much is obvious" Yeray reminded

"Anna was stabbed in the back of her head" Vanta said

"Yes although we do not know what did that" Blaze said worriedly

"No That's Wrong!" I yelled out

"Actually Blaze, remember when we investigated the body?" I asked

"Uh yes?" Blaze answered in confusion

"Well, what was on the back of Anna's head?" I asked

"A plank, why?" Blaze asked

"Well, I assume that the killer stabbed Anna in the back of the head with the plank" I answered

"Really?! So that means somebody had the plank all along, I was right that somebody was gonna use it during the murder" Lauren said

"Wait, what if it was a plank from the storage? There were a bunch of planks there" Raving asked

"That's not possible and I know why, you do too right?" Weeby asked me

"Of course I do..." I answered

[Missing Plank]

"I got it!" I called out in my head "Remember when we were talking during the meeting after the preparations during the party? I said that the planks were missing and Lauren began asking everyone if they found it" I asked

"Oh right, it must've slipped my mind, my bad" Raving apologized

"So, it's clear that the victim was killed with the missing plank, now what?" Tofu asked

"We need to think of the timeline of events" Lauren answered

"Right, well, let's begin then" DF suggested

"So, we know that the victim was killed by a plank but how was she lured?" Waffles asked

"Hmm, what about some microphones from the storage?" Silver asked

"I don't think it was the microphones, we didn't see any lying in the crime scene nor in the halls" Tiffany reminded

"Maybe, she went to the Party Room last night only to get knocked unconscious" Lauren thought

"I agree with that!" I called out

"I think I have to agree with the knocked unconscious part, I mean, the arcade's security room was trashed and stuff" I explained

"Huh? The security room was trashed? Now could someone from Dylan's team explain if you saw the security room?" Lauren asked

"Well, we did see it but we thought it wasn't worth noting so we didn't say it" Waffles answered

"So basically nobody else except for you guys know about it?" Lauren asked

"Yeah, but I have a feeling Dylan must've told anyone" DF answered

"Dylan? Well, we can't ask him now since he's got the motive" Lauren said

"Okay, so, who knew about the security room?" Tiffany asked

Just then Zamber, Raving and Weeby raised their hands

"Okay, so that means only Dylan's team, Zamber, Raving, Weeby and possibly the motive people knew about it, that means they're on the suspects list" Lauren said

"Well, that is enough of a clue to save most of us" Yeray said

"Okay, what's next?" Vanta asked

"Hmm, how about how Anna was tricked into going to the arcade" Silver thought

"Hmm, I think I know how" I thought

"Really? Then would you please explain how?" Zamber asked

How did Anna get tricked, there has to be some clue

"I got it!" I called out in my head "I believe Anna got tricked by the note from the culprit" I explained

"Wait what?! A note was used to trick her!" DF gasped in shock

"Yes, basically a note has been written to the victim themselves and it read 'Dear Anna, I think I found a clue on what the code is, meet me at the Arcade to hear me explain it but don't tell anybody I don't wanna be the cause of Monotube's anger, your bestie ----'" I explained

"Wait, so the culprit found a note and brought it to Anna's attention! They really are tricksters!" Captain Pizza said

"For once I agree with you" Yeray said

"But, are we sure that they tricked her, I mean, what if this note is a red herring?" Lauren asked

"A red herring?" Blaze asked

"Yes, like, what if it was used to trick us into thinking it was used and Anna went to the arcade to play some games" Lauren answered

"Huh?!" I called out in shock

"I don't think it was used that way, I mean what if she did bring it with her, chased the culprit, caught them dead in their tracks and got killed" Weeby thought

"Well, that is also possible" Lauren thought

"But besides that, what's next?" Vanta asked

"Hmm, let's figure out the time of death, I mean it said between 10PM to 8AM so it has to be between these, we though can definitely say that it didn't happen at 8AM since the BDA rang at 10 so it must've happened way earlier" Lauren thought

"Well, we can't figure that out so far so let's just figure out the rest" Weeby suggested

"Alright, let's continue on then" Silver said

"Before we do, should we talk about the elephant in the room?" Waffles asked

"There's an elephant in the room?!" Blaze called out in shock

"It's a figure of speech dumbass" Yeray reminded

"I'm not a dumbass you little bitch!" Blaze said angrily

"Do you want a fight?!" Yeray asked

"If it means we get to know who the dumbass is, yes!" Blaze answered before Yeray and Blaze then turned around and were about to run off the podiums to each other until Monotube called out to them

"Enough! There's no fighting allowed in this class trial!" Monotube ordered

"He started it!" Blaze and Yeray called out

"I know but can you take this battle out of the courtroom or do I have to punish you? It won't end well though" Monotube said angrily

"Fine!" Yeray called out

"Good, now, where were we, oh yeah, the supposed elephant in the room" Monotube said

"Right, well, last night when I was writing the lights turned off for no fucking reason!" Waffles said

"Huh? The lights turned off?! How did that happen?!" Tofu asked

"I think I have a theory" Weeby thought

"A theory? Then would you mind telling us" Raving asked

"Yes, so, what if the culprit switched the lights off and back on only to forget which ones they did" Weeby answered

"Well, then I believe it was a good idea DF and I fixed them" Silver said

"Still it's only a theory" Weeby said

"A game theory!" Blaze reminded

"Thanks, so what's next to discuss about?" Weeby asked

"We've figured out the cause of death, we've figured out what tricked Anna, we've figured out what turned the lights off, so all we need to do is figure out the timeline of events and what came after" Lauren said

"Hmm, but how do we do that?" Silver asked

"Let's start with what we think happened in order" I suggested

"I have a way better idea!" Captain Pizza called out

"Alright, what do you suggest?" Lauren asked

"We vote the one who knew Anna the most which is you Billy!" Captain Pizza suggested

"What?! First of all I don't know her that well and second of all how'd you know she went to talk to me last night?!" I asked

"Wait! Hold on! Anna talked to you last night?!" Lauren asked

"Huh? When did that happen?" Tofu asked

"It was right before the meeting" I answered

"Yeah, she did and she also told him that she'd hold a secret for him as long as he doesn't bottle things up" Captain Pizza said

"W-What?! No we didn't give secrets to each other!" I reminded in anger and worry

"Of course you did and that is not a lie!" Captain Pizza said

What do I do now? People are looking at me suspiciously, I need to fix this, but how?!

Right when I was freaking out Weeby turned to me and rests a hand on my shoulder

"Billy, you can tell us anything you know" Weeby said worriedly

I then noticed that my bench was having tears as the others were looking at me in worry

"Was Captain Pizza correct, did you have a secret?" Lauren asked

"Okay, so so far we all met with Anna late last night at the meeting but we don't know who did it" Lauren said

"Hold on, how can we know that Billy isn't suspicious, I mean only they knew about the motive, what if he killed her to keep the discussion a secret?" Yeray asked

"Then why do you suggest he did it?!" Raving asked

"Well, uh... I'm just sure!" Yeray called out

"To be fair, I trust Billy" Dylan said

"Yeah, Weeby agrees with me too, right Weeby?" Blaze asked turning to Weeby

"Uh, actually, I trust Billy but so far everything points to him" Weeby answered apologetically

"Not every clue does, stupid!" Lauren said

"Yeah, I agree with Lauren, we believe Billy is targeted!" Tiffany said

"Hold on, if you're saying that Billy didn't kill Anna, where's your proof!" Waffles asked

"I didn't find any, sorry" Tiffany apologized

"Then it's clear to say that Billy is targeted!" Waffles said

"I got it!" I called out in my head "Well, if there was a struggle in the security room in the arcade then how come I survived that?" I asked

"Oh, right, I forgot about that" Weeby said

"So we can safely assume that neither Billy, Silver Swirl, DF and Tofu did this since they're either small or couldn't easily cause a struggle, we can also safely assume Captain Pizza, Zamber, Raving, Weeby, Dylan Gillis and Waffles Da Pancake are suspicious for now with the latters being unknown because of the motive" Lauren said

"So, what's the plan, did anyone find some clues that makes any of them less suspicious?" Tiffany asked

"I do, Weeby was with me and Blaze when we discovered the body, this may not be much but according to the rules 3 people are needed to trigger the BDA" I suggested

"Now that you mention it, that's right" Tiffany said

"For now we should narrow things down with alibi's maybe that works" Tofu suggested

"Alright!" Lauren said

"Okay, let's just listen to the alibi's of last night, maybe that might reveal something" Zamber suggested

"Alright and since you are a suspect what were you doing?" Yeray asked angrily

"Well, of course I was sleeping but it wasn't until Waffles came and told me the lights turned off according to him but I couldn't see because it was so dark" Zamber explained

"That's true, it's the only thing I remember" Waffles explained

"Hold it! What makes you so sure" I shouted "Everybody who got the motive forgets their memories remember?!" I called out

"Right, well, they must've forgotten about it" Waffles explained

"Well, the only thing I remember is me getting the motive, nothing else" Silver Swirl explained

"Hold it! What makes you so sure" I shouted "Are you sure you forgot about it?" I asked

"Of course it should be after all, remember what Monokuma told us back at the motive meeting" I reminded

"Okay but I'd like to ask one thing to Waffles, do you remember something? And I really mean anything outside of the game?" DF asked

"Well, I don't remember exactly anything but Zamber told me about what happened last night" Waffles explained

"Last night? Can you tell us when it was Zamber?" Vanta asked

"Uh, I'm not sure, I mean, I didn't even know what time it was, I didn't even check my Monopad!" Zamber answered

"So you're saying you were walking down the halls without a source?!" Dylan asked in shock

"Yeah, I guess I forgot to mention that, sorry" Zamber apologized

"Well, that's okay for once next time just tell us" Raving said

"Hold on a second!" I called out which made everybody turn to me which made me nervous

"If you forgot to mention that did you actually see Waffles?" I asked

"I dunno but there was a rather bloody and hot hand touching me, I know because I've felt that blood and when they did they asked me to help as I went to the party room where there was a tiny bit of light as I used it to go to the electrical room and fix the lights but when I went back out they were gone" Zamber answered

"Wait! So you were lying about me asking for your help, right?!" Waffles asked angrily

"I guess I was but I didn't know it was for a murder, I thought they hurt themselves!" Zamber answered

"So, that's the only thing you know?" Tofu asked

"Yes, guess someone took my kindness for granted!" Zamber answered angrily

"Well, you were a bit stalkerish to me when we first met" I reminded

"Okay, but that was only because I thought you looked so cute especially with that suit" Zamber explained

"We should probably talk about the timeline of events again, maybe that might reveal something" Blaze suggested

"Okay, maybe we should talk about our party preparation alibi's it might reveal something useful" Weeby suggested

"Can I take a moment to say that the killer made a rather amazing impossible case!" Monotube said excitedly

I then turned angrily to Monotube

"So you're saying that this case is impossible?!" I asked

"Of course, that person really had a powerful brain!" Monotube answered

"Well, you heard him this case is impossible! If Blaze was not motivized what would he do?!" Lauren asked worriedly

"He'd probably give theories just like I do" Weeby answered

"Billy, you've made us come this far, can you figure out the rest?" Lauren asked

"I'm thinking! You know that I'm not good at impossible cases right!" I answered worriedly

"Maybe some clues might help you" Lauren reminded

"Some clues?" I thought out loud

I then checked my Monopad again, there has to be a clue telling us who the killer actually is

"Have you seen Waffles take the poison bottle or something?" Lauren asked

"Hmm, no I didn't and to tell you the truth last night when the preparations were worked at nothing went wrong but today something smelled weird about the kitchen like it was used during the crime" Zamber explained

"I know what it is" I answered before checking my Monopad again before bringing up the clue

"Yes and when I found it I didn't know how it was used but thanks to a certain someone I figured out what the cause is" I explained

"How's that proof?! For all we know Zamber and Waffles are accomplices!" Lauren reminded

"That's possible too but if you remember Zamber knew way more than what Waffles knows" I explained

"True, she's told me everything" Waffles agreed

"What do you mean by that?" Weeby asked

"Nothing, just what this game's about and stuff" Waffles answered

"And when did she do it?" Tiffany asked

"When the party started right before Billy, Weeby and Blaze searched for Anna" Waffles answered

"Wait! Hold on! If she told you right after how does she know about what Waffles or somebody else said!" Weeby realized

"Ah shit you're right! I forgot but I swear I didn't killed anybody!" Zamber said angrily

"Okay, so that means me, Weeby, Zamber, Lauren, Waffles, Captain Pizza, Vanta, Dylan, Raving, Yeray and Tiffany are alll still suspects" Blaze said

"And besides me and you along with Billy found the body first" Weeby reminded

"Okay, which means we must discuss their crimes but it seems we don't have any clues remaining, right Billy?" Weeby asked

"Yeah, there must be something I'm missing!" I called out in worry as I checked the clues once more "Wait! Hold on!" I called out

"Huh? What is it?" Lauren asked

"Check Anna's note motive again" I suggested

"Huh?" Lauren asked in confusion

"I know this might sound weird but it says 'your bestie' which is a friend name that most girls use so it has to be a girl!" I reminded

"Yeah, maybe you're right, it does say your bestie, but is that all?" Lauren asked

"Not yet, I also found one clue that might contradict anything being discussed here for now" I explained

"I got it!" I called out in my head "there was also a broken vase on the ground which wasn't worth mentioning until now" I explained

"I think you should ask the one who knows way too much about the case and kept lying herself!" I explained

"I know but you claimed that you went to the electrical room and then the person who tracked you there disappeared, correct?" I asked

"Now that you mention it when investigating she felt a girl's hand touch her" Waffles explained

"Then why didn't you tell the rest of us that a girl touched your hand, is it because the truth was right under our noses?!" I asked angrily

"I suggest we get through everything we've discussed so far, maybe Billy might find something we haven't talked about yet" Tiffany suggested

"I don't know, that's what we have to figure out" I answered

"Just wondering but Zamber did you poison the pie?" Silver asked

"No I didn't and I definitely didn't kill Anna!" Zamber reminded

"Now that I remember didn't Vanta get showcase messages last night?" I asked

"HOLD IT!" I called out "Why did you not stop the culprit from dragging you to the party room!" I asked

"Well I tried to stop them but they didn't even listen!" Zamber answered

"Then why didn't you call for help?! Maybe someone was still out and about in the halls!" I asked

"OBJECTION!" Lauren called out making the group turn to her "I've asked everyone where they were at night time and they were still in their rooms thus it is impossible for the culprit to call for help as the walls were soundproof" Lauren explained

"Oh okay" I realized

"They told me I should turn down the lights which I did"

"HOLD IT!" I called out "Why did you turn out the lights from the electrical room by the way?!" I asked

"Because they asked me forcefully and if I didn't do it they would have killed me!" Zamber answered

"True, but before we do, how did Waffles and/or Zamber go to their room? There must've been something that lightens the halls at night" Dylan explained

"Now that you mention it, that's correct, we still don't know what they used to lead themselves to their rooms" I agreed

"Hmm, what possibilities are there?" Weeby asked

"I GOT IT!" I called out "I don't know if it's true as I didn't check my Youtube Pad a lot but since this Pad is basically the same as a tablet I'm sure it could also have a flashlight when it's dark somewhere" I explained

"I don't know, I mean we didn't notice it" Lauren said

I then grabbed my monopad from the table opened it up and searched for the flashlight icon

"Yeah, I think it is but we didn't get our culprit yet" I reminded

I also should keep in mind the number of  possible suspects, one of them must have done it

So out of these possible suspects: Lauren, Waffles, Captain Pizza, Dylan, Raving, Yeray and Tiffany who could have done it

"So, we basically figured everything out" Weeby reminded

"There isn't even a single clue we haven't figured out, correct?" Lauren asked

"NO THAT'S WRONG!" I called out "Actually,I think we missed something" I answered

"I think I might have a theory about the poison which caused the pie to reek" Weeby explained

"What if the killer did this secretly while we were all talking to each other" Weeby explained

"Yes, they must've had a chance to do so while we were all distracted with talking" Weeby said

"But, who did? We were all chatting away together" Zamber reminded

"I don't think the killer would reveal something this early" Weeby said

The others then shook their heads no alongside me

And that's when we realized all hope seemed lost

We all then rushed out of our podiums and to the elevator which we then took to the top floor
