-about 10 years before-
Brain and I were sitting in his room, a blanket covering both of our legs, "Did you ever get an acceptance letter back from (a college)?" Brian asked, I could hear the nervousness in his voice.
"Yea." I said shyly, looking at the tv instead of in his eyes.
"Your gonna have to move aren't you?" He asked, his eyes turned sad.
"Yea." I said sadly before hearing a car horn, "I'm sorry Brian but I'm leaving right now. I didn't want to tell you." I picked up backpack off the floor before turning toward Brian.
    "I've got to leave Brian." I said leaning over to give him a soft kiss on his cheek before turning to walk out of the door.
    "Wait." Brian said, I heard him get off the bed, causing me to walk faster.  
      I felt the tears fall down my face as I walked through the front door, "(name) wait!" Brain yelled this time.
     I sprinted into my moms car, it was already full of all my stuff that I was taking to college.
     I nodded at my mom before wiping my eyes, "Just go." I mumbled.
    She patted my leg before nodding.
    I watched as Brian disappeared into a little speck on the distance.
    I started to sob again.
   
    Present day

    I smiled lightly at my self in the mirror, I was wearing a (favorite color) dress with matching wedges.
    Today was the day I was going to see Brian again for the first time in 10 years.
   I was going to his house with one of his friends.
    Craig was also my friend, he had went to college with me and we had stayed in touch after he dropped out.
    "You ready (name)?" Craig asked, walking into the room.
    "I think so." I said, my nerves starting to kick in as I realized that I was going to see Brian again, "Do you think he'll hate me for when left? I mean he wanted to tell me something and I just ran away." I said, picking up my phone off my bed.
    "I know that he'll be happy to see you (name). Your all he ever talks about and besides I never told him that you were coming with me." Craig said with a wicked smirk on his lips.
     "Yea let's just hope he's not that mad." I said before picking up my keys and wallet, "I'll drive."
    Craig nodded and followed me out of the door.
    It only took about thirty minutes to get to Brian's house and in that time span my nerves grew.
    "Are you gonna come in?" Craig asked looking at me.
    We had been sitting in the Brian's driveway for about five minutes.
    "Yea I'm just nervous. We haven't seen each other in ten years." I said, wiping my palms on my dress before nodding, "I'm ready to go in."
     Craig smiled and patted my leg, opening his door.
    I did the same as he did and followed him to the door. He knocked on it softly and a few seconds later, Brian opened the door.
    His mouth fell open as he saw me, "Hey." I said shyly looking down at the ground.
    "(Name)." Brian breathed out before picking me up and hugging me tightly.
     I hugged him back and instantly felt the tears in my eyes, "I'm so sorry that I left you when you were trying to tell me something. Ever since that day I've wanted to k is what you wanted to tell me." I said, once he set me down.
     "Ill show you what I was trying to say." He said and I looked up at him puzzled.
     "What?" i asked and he answered my question by leaning down and kissing me.
     I kissed him back and blushed.     
     "Okay you two I came to play games not watch you two make out." Craig said causing me to blush as I pulled away.
     "I love you (name)." Brian said and I smiled.
      "I love you too." I replied back, walking into the house after the boys.
