Megaplier ~ High School Dream: Part Two
Here's part two! Enjoy!
-------------------------------------------------
Oh god. It's the night of the prom already. Am I dreaming?
That last few days seemed to fly by. Now I was in my purple, strapless ballgown about to leave my house. My long, brown hair billowed around my head in perfect curls that took an hour and a half to make and I stood in the entrance way of my house in my small wedges. I was only wearing these wedges because I didn't want to be too much taller than Mark.
"He'll be here soon, honey," my mom said, walking up to me. I had grown to be taller than she was when I was 12 and, now that I'm sixteen, I'm a lot taller than her. My dad walked in as well and said, "Yeah, and I need to be sure that he is worthy of my daughter as well." I looked down and saw his shotgun in his hand, but I knew he wasn't serious. "Got it, dad. I'll just have to wait a few more minutes, he should be here soon," I said, checking his text from ten minutes ago that said he was almost at my place.
Then, I saw headlights and ran out of the house, trying not to trip over my own feet. The gate opened and I was astounded to see a limo waiting there. Mark came out and I saw all of my other three friends in there for a split second. Mark ran up to me as my parents strode up on either side of me. He stopped in front of me and looked me up and down. "You look... amazing," he said, seeming to be mesmerized by my "beauty".
"You look great, too," I said, blushing greatly; luckily my makeup was there to save me. He was wearing a tux with a purple tie and handkerchief to match my dress. He was also wearing a fedora, which I thought make him look even better.
He looked away, clearly hiding his blush. I then introduced him to my parents. He eyed the shotgun my dad was carrying nervously. I saw this and said, "Don't worry; if he kills you, I'll just kill him." This statement seemed to make him feel better.
"Well, we'll be off. Love you guys and see you later tonight, maybe next morning. Who knows?" I said, hugging my mom and dad. They said their good byes and Mark and I got into the limo. I stared around the inside as I got in and saw sat down. I then saw Lyss, Abby, and Keegan and that they were all talking to their dates. Keegan was going with Cameron Dallas, who was a year older than she was; Abby was lucky enough to get a date with the guy she had a crush on, who was Mikey Way, a lead bassist in a popular band in high school; and Lyss was chatting with her crush, Adam Dahlberg. Keegan was wearing a high-low pink dress, Abby had reluctantly worn a short black dress with leggings, Lyss was in a teal ballgown much like my own, and all the guys were sporting tuxes. Mark climbed in after me and the driver drove us to the high school where the prom was being held. Mark looked over at me and put his arm around me hesitantly. I snuggled up to him and saw him smiling widely.
Finally, Lyss saw me and gasped, getting the others' attentions. "Awe!" they said in unison and Mark and I both blushed. "You guys are sooo cute!" Keegan said, somewhat fangirling.
"Shut up," I muttered to her sternly. She just smiled at us and whispered something to Cameron. They both started laughing and I just ignored them.
Soon enough, we had arrived at our school. All of us left the limo and walked inside. The music was blaring so loudly that I could barely hear myself think, and the dresses and tuxes around me were just as bad. Tyler (a short, red-headed idiot) strode by with his boyfriend, Ethan (another short, but blonde haired, idiot) at his side. Keegan and I had be shipping them together since we were in 7th grade and were overjoyed when they finally got together.
Everything up until the slow song was a blur. I could barely remember anything that had happened. But, when a slow song came on, my brain turned back on. "Would you like to dance?" Mark asked me, bowing to me.
"Why, I would love to," I replyed and took his hand. He led me over onto the dance floor where many other couples, including my friends and their dates, and we began to dance. Mark had his arms around my waist and I put my arms around his neck. I saw Tyler and Ethan dancing out of the corner of my eye and couldn't surpress a smile.
"Um, Megan?" Mark said, bringing my attention back to him. I tilted my head to the side and stared a him with a questioning look. Mark took a deep breath and, in a rush, said, "Do you want to go out with me?"
I was amazed. I was happy. I was overjoyed. Those were a few of the feelings I had felt at that moment. Trying to speak calmly, I said, "I would love to."
The song drew to a close and Mark spung me around and tilted me back in his arms. Without realizing it, I said, "I love you, Mark." He smiled that amazing smile of his and I melted on the inside. "I love you too, Megan."
And, we kissed. During that kiss, our first kiss, I realized something. I realized something that only that kiss would help me realize.
I found who I was going to spend the rest of my life with.
(Gosh dang it, now i wish this was real. *pouts* Anyway, I hope you liked it! Love ya'll)
