#1: You loved the beach. You loved the feeling of the warm sand under your feet and the cool incoming waves from the ocean. You would often go out to the shore and spend as much time as you could there. You've noticed the unnerving feeling of being watched more recently but that knowledge didn't stop you from going. One day as you are sitting on the rocks on shore, you could faintly point out something or someone watching you from the waters. As soon as it noticed you, it returned below the surface. What happens? (Aka crush is a siren and has taken interest in you)

#2: Sirens were dangerous. Everyone knew it. They lure you into a sense of security only to drag you down and tear you apart. Mer-people knew better than to have any contact with sirens. But that doesn't seem to stop you from befriending one nonetheless. Not like the other mer-folk cared much for you anyways, so what's the harm in taking a few risks? (Aka you are a mer-person and crush is a siren)

#3: Being a pirate was great but it came with a lot of worries and risks. Not that you minded. One of the biggest worries for those who took to the seas were the creatures who lived in those very waters. Rumors and legends of sirens and mer-folk dragging pirates and sailors under the sea's dangerous waters. Even some rumors that they could change forms and be lurking in your own crew. What happens when you wake up in the middle of the night, hearing someone or something singing up on deck? (Aka your a pirate and a siren is lurking among your crew)
