A new school, A new image.
"Miss Torres! Please, please slow down!" Jock, the caretaker called after a girl, about 17, with grey eyes, and brown hair, who rushed out of the front door of a large house, into the front yard. The girl didn't respond, and instead she pulled up her hood and continued out the front gate and shut it, without a glance back. "Please Miss Torres!" The caretaker shouted, "You're Parents will be cross!" She continued to ignore him, even as she jogged down the street and turned the corner, till his yelling was nothing but faint sounds. She pulled her bag higher up on her shoulder and put her ear bud into her ear.
"Hey November!" Called a voice that made her stop. She looked behind her and smiled.
"Hey Small Fry." November replied. A young girl, about 12, approached November, and began to walk with her.
"We heard Jock yelling again, Mitch wanted to know if everything was okay." The small girl told her.
"Yeah it's all good, Sabina, Jock was just being a prick, like normal. Speaking of pricks, where's Mitch?" November asked.
"He got up late, so he's finishing up breakfast by now." Sabina explained. November snarked.
"That Slacker." November stated with a head shake. The two got to a cross walk and looked both ways before crossing.
"So you're really doing it then?" Sabina asked. November nodded. Sabina smiled. "Well if anyone deserves it, it's you. You've been at it for what? A year?"
"A year, 7 months, 6 days, 13 hours, 15 minutes, 5...6...7... Seconds." November replied, checking her watch.
"I get your point, you've been doing it for a long time." Sabina replied. "No wonder you have 5 million subscribers." November nodded. Then the two stopped at the other side of the street. "I promise I talk about you at school. I'll get you more subscribers. Okay?" November cracked a smirk and ruffled Sabina's hair.
"You do that." November announced, then got into her serious nature and pointed at Sabina. "But no pictures"
Sabina giggled and nodded. "Stay Safe Small Fry. Okay?"
"Okay. Deal. See you later! Get lots of subscribers!" Sabina shouted at November and then gave her a wave, before dashing off down the street and turning into the middle school. November's smirk grew a little, then she sighed and pulled her bag over her shoulder again, and focused on the music in her ear bud, and her face expression changed to neutral. Though November didn't have any siblings, Sabina was like a sister to her. Sabina was Mitch's little sister, and Mitch was November's best friend since 3 years ago. But November saved Sabina a year and a half ago, when Sabina fell into a stream, and the current was to strong for Sabina to swim in, so November dove into the water and saved her, spraining her ankle on a rock in the process. So, Sabina and November felt as close as sisters could be. November walked on until she got to the new building on the corner had a sign in the front of it that read "YouTube Collegiate Academy"
November drew in a deep breath and pulled her hood down. "Alright." November said aloud. "Everything else, stays outside the door." November nodded and drew in another deep breath, and pushed open the door. Inside, November found and a plethora of people, from year nine in school to year 12 and up in the hallway. Most students were walking with their friends while trying to get to their classes. November sighed and continued to the counseling office. Or at least what she thought was the general direction of the office. November observed all the people around here and saw a group of boys just standing in front of lockers. A few with exotic colored hair colors like red and green, others with blond and brunette and raven. So she shrugged and figured why not. November approached the boys and took out her ear bud.
"Um, would one of you guys be nice enough to point me in the direction of the councilors office?" November asked. The boys were dead silent. November lifted her hand to one of the boys faces and waved it in front of him. November sighed. "Figures." November stated. She was about to walk away when one of the boys finally stepped up.
"It's that way." He announced. November turned back around and scanned the group for the one who spoke.
"Huh?" November asked.
"The councilors office. It's down that way. Take a right on the first hallway you see, it should be the second door on the left. If you lose your way, there's a sign on the top of the door way that says counseling." He replied, pointing in the direction November was heading in. It was the green hair guy. November smiled and nodded.
"Thanks." November stated about to take off again.
"I'm Sean, by the way." The guy announced. November stopped and turned to face him.
"November." She replied pointing to herself, "Maybe I'll see you around. Later Sean... And company." and then continued to the councilors office.

"November Torres. November Torres, November Torres. Ah here we are. Just transferred here, huh?" The councilor asked, clicking on the file. November nodded.
"I graduated from high school last year, so I'm starting College in the one profession I think I can handle myself in." November explained.
"Not a problem, not a problem. Lets see... Alright, here's your locker combination, and your schedule... And after you get yourself situated in your locker, I'll take you to tour your classes. Okay?" She asked. November nodded. She was handed a couple pieces of paper and then ushered out of the room.
"Thank you." November mumbled. The councilor nodded. Then November walked down the way until she spotted lockers that were close to her number. Surprisingly, her locker was where the boys had been standing, except they had departed and went to there classes, as she guessed. November opened her locker, with slight difficulty, and then stuffed all things she wouldn't need on the tour into her locker, and then shut it. November Shut her eyes and drew in a deep, shaky breath. 'New school, New image.' November thought.
