I waited at the entrance for him, it took him a while and I almost wondered if he ditched me. But then his bright pink cotton candy head popped up before me, the one in the universe smile flashing wide.

"Let's go to the bar Channie!" he said excitedly. He wasn't avoiding me, that was a good thing and I decided not to push it by talking about what happened inside.

"You drink?" I asked curiously, he looked like someone who would get diabetes from drinking chocolate syrup rather than be at a bar.

"Of course I do, you don't? Oh my god wait, are you not legal yet? I swear you looked older!" he said getting flustered, it was adorable.

"I do! I mean I am. I'm 21 already, I was just surprised you'd go to the bar. How old are you? You look like 18."

"Oh I'm old enough alright," he laughed and I gave him a funny face. "Okay okay, I'm 22. But we're going because this the only place in town you can get live music, the band EXO plays here. They're amazing!"

"A live band? Oh my god, I love music, I always wanted to play and sing someday!" I really wanted to check it out now.

"Really? Me too, It's why I love the place! Hey, who knows, maybe you could join the band, they're pretty nice people. Shall we?" he gave me his hand I took it, nodding excitedly.

We dashed down the street like kids, our hands intertwined again and the wind caressing our faces. I felt like could I follow him anywhere. Lead me, let me see your sign. Is this love?

The neon light sign read 'UNDERWATER BARD' in bright blue, curving over an establishment with laughter blooming inside. Baekhyun cheerfully went in, throwing open the double wooden doors like he owned the place, "Time to drown in my sweet sweet addiction, alcohol and music!!" he said dramatically.

"Am I with an alcoholic? Because let me tell you now, I can't hold my liquor even if my life depended on it," I warned with a laugh, going in after him. The place looked like a pirate tavern, the walls were shades of blue like the ocean while wooden tables were placed surrounding a stage on one side. The bar ran along the other side and there were even couches along the corners facing the stage.

"Nah, if anything I'm addicted to you," he winked, dragging me to the bar for a seat. I was getting used to his flirtatious nature but still felt a blush.

The bartender came over looking surprised and started introducing himself, "Hi there, I'm Suho! The owner of Underwaters, I'm must say it's nice to see a new face, it's not often we ge-"

"Get a visitor, yes. I'm new in town, Chanyeol, nice to meet you. " I said cutting him off with a friendly smile. He blinked at me and laughed heartily.

"You must have been getting that a lot huh. So what's your choice tonight?" he asked, sliding over the menu. Why was I not surprised, a colorful collection just like the rest of the town.

"Ooo! You should try the Poppin' Ghost! And the Psycho Flame shots! Wait, I really want the Stay Here Wave too!" the pink-haired bounced, unable to pick. I rolled my eyes hiding a laugh.

"Are you planning on getting me drunk?" I smirked.

"Maybe?" he shot me one back and I shook my head grinning.

I told Suho our order and he narrowed his eyes at me, tilting his head. Was it too much? He almost looked like my mom trying to be suspicious but hey, it was for two right.

"S-sure, but if you need me to send you home later, tell me now." he chuckled, making the drinks.

"It's alright, I think we can manage!" he shot me that look again before setting up our drinks on the bar.

"Enjoy! And welcome to town, Chanyeol." he smiled awkwardly before rushing to another customer. What was that all about?

"Shots first!" Baekhyun said excitedly, raising one to me and I took the other, clicking it on his. "Cheers!" he took it and squealed.

"Cheers..." I took mine and had to close my eyes at the sweet cinnamon burn, shaking my head. "Oh my god, what's in this!" it was sweet but spicy and sort of...tangy?

"No clue but you're reaction was way too funny not to get it," he laughed playfully.

"Wait, did you just get it to mess with me?" I looked at him in disbelief. This cheeky candy!

He was still laughing and I was starting to feel the effects of the drink already, the colors around me a little fuzzy and brighter.

"Oh look, they're here, EXO! Let's grab a couch there, it's got the best view." he pointed over his shoulder to one.

We took our drinks and settled into the couch in the corner, it faced the stage directly and the band had started setting up. Soon we were listening to the 4 of them play, the singer, who Baekhyun told me was named Chen, had an amazing voice that changed the whole vibe of the place. It was like being under a spell, the music in the air, the candied waves of alcohol, and the heat from the boy next to me where our bodies were touching as we sat, riding the haze.

The night went on in a blur of music and laughter we talked about almost random things, even making fun of the people in the bar. The drummer that said weirdly mispronounced things that sounded dirty. The petite blonde a table over that kept on eyeing the bassist openly, drooling like a lovestruck deer. The guitarist that couldn't stop dancing, almost falling off the stage once. My cotton candy angel that snuggled into my arms, making my heart flutter and mind drowning in euphoria.

It was all a blur next, the sounds fading off in a distance and vision swimming in bright pink, filled with him. His lips on mine, sweeter than before, I was diving deeper into the kiss and in love. I felt like I belonged here. He gave me that beautiful smile with glazed eyes and whispered something I couldn't hear before everything dipped into blackness.
