(Y/N) POV: 7 Years old:

I gently tapped on my giant friend's leg, trying to get her attention.

"D-Diane?" I whispered out.

She turned her head down to look at my small self and smiled.

"Hello (y/n)! I thought you were eating dinner with Hendrickson?"

I fiddled with the hem of my dress. "I don't want to eat with him. I want to eat with my fwiends."

Diane smiled and gently picked me up. "Well I was just on my way to meet the captain! Ban and him caught some wild animals and are cooking them right now."

I smiled and giggled. "I can't wait to eat with the sins!"

She smiled widely at me and started walking to where they usually eat.

Hendrickson POV: Before Grandmaster is killed:

"Dreyfus!" My voice boomed in the castle, startling every holy knight apprentice. "Have you seen (y/n)?! She never returned from the garden. She told me she was going to make me a flower crown but I haven't seen her for an hour. The Knights said they lost sight of her."

Dreyfus stopped walking and turned to me. "I'm sorry, I haven't seen the small girl. Why do you sound so worried over a little child? You sound like a worried father."

I flinched a little at his words but didn't show it on the outside. "Well I have to make sure she eats."

Dreyfus snorted and turned around. "I am sure she has eaten." He began walking away from me at a brisk pace. "Don't forget your promise." He shouted to me before turning the corner.

'Where did my little girl run off to this time?'

I frantically searched the castle for my daughter, time dwindling down on me. After what seemed like an hour, I had to leave to help Dreyfus kill Zaratras.

King POV: *Yelling at Ban because Ban stole plush toys.*

"What do you think you're doing?!?" I shouted at the sin of greed laying on a mountain of toys.

"What does it look like I'm doing? I'm laying in a pile of toys!"

"These toys have sentimental value to kids!"

"All they really are is a bunch of cotton." Ban states as he picked one up. I quickly shuffle over to him and grab the toy, hugging it close to myself. "NOOOOOOOOO!"

Captain comes over and pets my back, saying it'll be okay. I start to cry and hug the plush tightly.

(Y/N) POV: Still being held by Diane:

Diane gently set me down outside of the Boar Hat.

"Captain! I'm back with (y/n)!" Diane yelled and sat down.

Mr. Meliodas came out of the Boar Hat and smiled at me.

"Oh, hey (y/n)! What are you doing with Diane?"

I shyly climbed onto Diane's leg and curled up close to her. "I wanted to eat dinner with you." I spoke softly and frowned. "Dad- I mean Hendwickson, doesn't weally like me that much. He always tells people I'm some wandom girl when I'm his daughter." I started to tear up a little.

"Aw, I'm sure he loves you little (nickname)." Meliodas says as he pats my head gently in a loving way. "Now come on, help me bring the food out." He smiled and helped me off of Diane's leg.

"Aw, captain, she was keeping me company!" Diane whined and pouted.

"We'll be back in a minute, Diane." Meliodas said casually and held my hand, guiding me inside of the Boar Hat.

King POV:

I was walking downstairs with a stuffed (fav animal) that I managed to steal back from Ban. Chastiefol was floating by my side as I looked at all the delicious food Ban cooked before he had left to steal so many toys from kids.

"Oh, hey King. (Y/n) is here." Captain said as I saw a little girl poke her head out from behind him.

I was still holding the (fav animal) close and smiled at her.

"Hello (y/n)!" I smiled happily at her and waved. "How have you been?" I excitedly said as I kneeled down to her height.

She hid behind the captain a little bit. "I-I've been good."

'She's so cute! Reminds me of how shy a few of the fairies used to be when meeting me.'

I was thinking back to the fairy's I called a family, when (y/n) slowly came out from behind Meliodas and reached her hands out for the (fav animal) toy.

"(Fav animal)!!!!!" (Y/n) shouted and smiled happily. "Pwease Mr. King, can I pway with it?!"

I smiled and gave it to her. "Sure (y/n)!" She happily took the toy and danced around, hugging it tightly. "THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!"

I cried tears of joy as I saw her dancing around with the (fav animal). "Hey King, can you give me a hand and bring the food out?"

I nodded and carried the food outside where I saw Diane helping (y/n) onto her leg.

(Y/N) POV: After Dinner:

"Thank you Mr. Mewiodas and Mr. Ban! This was dewicious!" I said as I wiped my face with a napkin.

"Well I'm glad you think so, (nickname)." Meliodas ruffled my hair.

I waddled over to Mr. King and climbed into his lap, with a bit of help.

"Something wrong, (y/n)?" King asks.

I shake my head and hand him the (fav animal) toy. "Hendwickson said that if I borrowed something I needed to weturn it!"

King smiled and shook his head. "I'm giving that to you. Consider that a gift from one friend to another."

I gasped and smiled as wide as the joke. I gave King a bear hug. "Thank you Mr. King!"

"Sorry to interrupt this, buuuuut we need to get to the castle." Meliodas says as I hop off King's lap. "Zaratras has summoned us. We'll drop you off by you father's room." Meliodas lifted me up and placed me on his shoulders.

Hendrickson POV: Cleaning blood off his clothes:

I heard a knock at the door and cursed a bit to myself.

"You may enter."

The door creaked open slowly and then was slowly closed. I stepped out of the bathroom, making sure the door was closed since my wardrobe was not clean of blood. I saw my little girl hugging a small (fav animal) toy and looking down.

"I'm sowwy I didn't tell you were I went, Hendwickson."

I flinched a little bit when she said Hendrickson instead of calling me Dad or Father. I sighed in relief when I saw she was okay and gently lifted her into my arms.

"It's alright sweetheart. I'm glad you're okay. Where did you get that toy?"

She smiled. "Mr. King gave it to me!"

"Oh, he did? That was nice of him." I ruffled her silky hair a bit before setting her down. "Now listen close, daddy needs to do some very important knight work. I'm sending you away to Camelot. There will be an escort here soon to take you there and make sure you arrive safely. Do everything they tell you to do and don't forget what I have taught you." I hugged her tightly and tried my best to not let a single tear shed. "I love you, (y/n). Please stay safe and return to me in one piece."

She held onto my clothes with her tiny hands and wailed. "I-I don't want to leave you, daddy! I want to stay! Why do I have to go?"

"You'll be safe in Camelot. The seven deadly sins have planned to overthrow the kingdom and I don't want my little girl caught in the crossfire."

(Y/n)'s face was full of shock. "They would never do something so cruel!"

"They've been using you (y/n). Now go. Your escort is waiting."

I gave her a final hug and handed her a small backpack I had packed with her stuff. She gently placed the (fav animal) in the bag and gave it a kiss on the cheek before zipping the bag up. I helped slip the bag onto her shoulders and gave her a small kiss on the forehead.

"Stay safe." I said and slipped a (birthstone) ring on a silver chain into her hands. "Keep this with you. When your hands grow big enough to wear it, show it off with pride. This ring has been passed down in my family for ages, and I was waiting to give it to you when you turn 18, but I'll give it to you now. I won't be able to see you for a long time, so stay safe."

Giving her a final kiss on the forehead, along with a final hug, I sent her away.

'With her out of the way, I won't have any problems becoming Grandmaster and resurrecting the demon face.'
