"JAMIEEEEE" i shout as soon as i see my brother running into his arms

"LOTTIEEEEE" he shouts back

"how are you doing??"

"im great, how are you?"

"yeah, im good, how's london and work"

"pretty cool"

we get into his car and drive to his apartment

"so? i was told you were in portsmouth two weeks ago"

oh no, he knows i never go to portsmouth and then to glasgow unless i need to tell him something very serious

"yeah, i was"

"lottie im not an idiot, what aren't you telling me?" he asks

"jamie i need to tell you something"

"what have you done lottie"

"you can't get mad Jamie"

"well i have to know what it is first"

i take a deep breath

"well... your going to be an uncle very soon" i mutter as i watch the steam pour out his ears and nose

"lottie you know i don't like these kind of jokes"

"im not joking Jamie"

"You are fucking stupid Lottie"

"Jamie calm down"

"NO, if i have to be the one to tell you that you are an idiot, then i will be"

"Jamie-"

"Lottie how do you fucking expect this child to have a good life, i doubt neither you neither the father of this child has the maturity to take care of a fucking child"

"Jamie i'll admit neither me neither Mason planned to have this child, but we will work it out and we will give them the best life we can, and sure we might be young but im sure we will mature eventually and make it work, please don't react like this, calm down" i say breaking down

"LOTTIE HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO STAY CALM WHEN YOU CAN'T SEEM TO KEEP YOUR FUCKING LEGS SHUT"

"Jamie, if you can't accept this then i don't think you should see me as your sister" i cry storming out with my things

"Lottie- wait"

i immediately call a cab on the main street to the train station and get a train ticket back to London

i get onto the train, and noiseless tears stream down my face

then i get a facetime from mase

"hey, did you make it to glasgow"

"im on my way back, can you pick me up"

"hey, hey, don't cry Lottie, don't cry, send me the train details, ill be there as soon as it arrives"

i nod and send him the details

for the rest of the train journey i continue to sob noiseless tears into my hands, and eventually we arrive and as soon as i see Mason i run into his embrace

the familiar smell of his cologne instantly comforts me and i stop crying

he gives me a couple roses bunched together

"how are you?"

"not great, but better now your here"

we get into his car and he drives towards my apartment

"what happened? if you don't mind me asking"

"he shouted at me, he got really mad"

"your his sister, i can see why he's mad but he has no right to make you cry, i'm sure he'll come through though, he'll realise what he said is wrong"

"maybe"

"no he will, take some time off work and rest"

"okay"

"do you want me to stay with you?"

"please"

"okay then"

we go home and we lay on my couch, and i fall asleep into his arms almost instantly

i wake up to the smell of food, i was hungry and i was confused as to why there was food

"how long did i sleep" i mumble

"an hour or so" i hear from the kitchen

i get up to see mase plating some noodles into some bowls

"you can cook?"

"they didn't have deliveroo in the netherlands so i had to learn to cook"

"whats this"

"noodles, i know you like them"

"they look good"

"and hopefully they taste good"

we sit down with our noodles which tasted amazing and watch eastenders as usual

then i get a phone call from Jade, and realise i haven't told anybody except mase about what happened

"hi Jade"

"hey Char, how's glasgow?"

"im in london"

"why are you in london?"

"im back"

"already?"

"yeah it didn't go great"

"are you good? do you need me to come and help with anything?"

"no no no, ive got mase round anyways, he's been great, i might take a couple days off and just try and relax"

"okay, well ill leave you two together, don't forget to call trent and your parents"

"yeah of course, bye Jade"

"bye Lottie, call me if you need anything at all, bye"

then i decide to call trent

"hey lottie, how did it go"

"not great, he got really mad and im back in london"

"ouchhh, are you okay? are you alright?"

"im good don't worry"

"okay then, update me if anything happens, im sure he'll realise he's wrong"

"i hope"

"okay bye"

"bye"

and finally i decide to call mum

"hey mum"

"hey Lottie, are you in glasgow yet"

"i went this morning"

"how is it there, how did jamie react?"

"He got really mad, and i went back to London"

"oh my word, ill have a word with him"

"you really don't have to mum"

"no he's your brother, you clearly sound sad he can't just make you leave"

"i left mum"

"same thing, anyways are you fine, do you need me to come down to help with anything"

"no mum, im good, ill take a couple days off work and mase is amazing he's helped a lot today"

"is he round?"

"yeah"

"tell him i thank him so much for being amazing"

"sure will mum"

"okay ill leave you two then, bye bye"

"bye mum"

"mum says she thanks you so much for being amazing" i tell mase

he smiles "tell her thank you for having such an amazing daughter"

i roll my eyes

"you'd have to tell her that" i say

"and i happily will the next time i see her"

"thank you so much Mase"

"i don't understand why your thanking me i haven't done anything"

"no you have, without you i'd probably be sobbing right now"

he stares into my eyes and i stare back

i stand on the tips of my toes, grab his face and kiss him

he pushes us both onto the couch we were standing in front of and continues kissing me

we only part when were compeletly out of breath

"Lottie?"

"yeah"

"do you want to be my girlfriend"

i nod and kiss him

"ill take that as a yes"
