Come On Ride It, The Hogwarts Train...

POV: Hermione. Play the song! 😍💞🦄

We arrived to the busy Hogwarts Express Platform, of nine and three-quarters. I kept my composure not wanting to embarrass Layla or Scorpius, and blubbering like an idiot.

I read off the lists I made for them, double checking and making sure they had everything in order, before loading the train.

"Layla, darling, Absinthe needs to stay in her crate on your journey to school, as well as Frick does too, Scorpius."

"Mum? Should we change into our robes now or when we get closer to Hogwarts?" Scorpius innocently asked me. I hugged him again and kissed his cheek replying, "You can change when you get closer if you'd like, darling." He smiled liking my suggestion.

Within my moment of being a Mum, I felt Draco's warmth coming closer to me and instantly felt a twinge that something suddenly just alarmed him...

"'Minoe, baby... just breathe. Stay calm. I'm here." Draco informed me in a rush, wrapping his arm around my waist. I looked at him with curiosity? What was he talking about?

Then I looked forward, realizing who was coming towards us. Evil in it's brazen form of loathing.

Ron and Lavender.

My heart and my throat dropped to my stomach, and simultaneously came back, to heatedly decline them being here. Especially, her...

"How could he do this?! How could he bring her here today?!" I cried with a clinching jaw, muttering my disapproval to Draco, trying to hold it together for my children, before they realized something was wrong.

"Don't worry, love. I will handle this." Draco heroically explained, making me feel remotely better. His protective side over me was completely titillating in every sense of my cores...

They vastly approached us, as I wanted to verbally attack them.

"Well, well, well... look who we have here! The New Malfoy Family, isn't it wonderful?!" Ron disgustingly mocked as I stepped forward about to punch him. Draco ascended to the front of me, still keeping a hand on my lower stomach, to help keep my wits about me. And take charge of defending his wife and family...

"Nice to see you wanted to join our children today, Weasel." Draco sneered in a delectable insult, right back to my ex, turning my arousals for him to passionately rise... Ron transformed into his reddened flustered state, in his familiar hatred for Draco. Draco then stuck his hand out to shake Lavender's. "Magenta, good to see you, and good to see you devised in a proper seamstress, finally." Draco scolded her, piercing straight to her frozen heart to thaw in her obvious anger, and I wanted to snog my husband where we stood, for sticking up for me and insulting her to her core.

Lavender's tiny little thin lipped mouth, dropped open and Draco wheeled around to tend to our children's trunks to load them on the train before she had a chance to say anything back to him.

When Layla and Hugo, noticed that their biological father had made his presence with his mistress. The tension was just too unbearable for words... Layla wept to me, "Why did he bring her?! How could he do this to me? Why would he do this?!" She wailed onto my shoulder, and I stroked her golden wavy brown hair, knowing I had to bring a light to the situation, comforting her and telling her, "Baby, you listen to me... do not let this unfortunate circumstance ruin your big day. This is just the beginning of an amazing wizarding life, ahead of you. Your father loves you and wanted to share this day with who is with now, just like I wanted Draco to be here for you..."

"But, Draco is like, us. He's family, he's my other Dad. That woman is just... that other woman." Layla huffed, and I wiped her tears agreeing with her, but I had to make her see that Ron was here for her too. I couldn't bad mouth my children's father and his choices to our children. I didn't want to scar them even more than they already had been from Ron's discretions...

"That's right, darling. Draco will always be your stepfather and like a real father to you... And Ron, your Dad, will always be your father. You are so lucky to have so many people who love you, baby. Yes, your father has made his mistakes, and he will make them up to you. However, you have to be nice to him and to Lavender, dear. I know it's hard. But you do it for me? I raised you to be a dignified witch and you will respect your elders, Is that understood, sweetheart?" I requested as her mother, and she softly nodded yes.

Layla then slowly joined her brother, and hugged Ron, and giving a gesturing nod of hello, to Lavender. It was all I could do to not burst in laughter. But I knew Layla would eventually have to support her father's decision, exactly as I did. She was exactly like me in so many ways... her stubbornness would eventually have to be put aside on occasion.

Draco was more of a father than Ron was, or would ever be. My children already knew it... Children see things even more closely, than we realize as adults. It's truly amazing. And heartbreaking...

The Hogwarts Express train whistle, blew for the final time for its patrons to come aboard.

We hugged and kissed Layla and Scorpius, goodbye and watched them board the train, with tears in my eyes. Draco holding onto me from behind, circling his arms around my waist, and Hugo was standing close to the train waving goodbye and chasing the train.

I sobbed saying my final goodbyes, feeling and knowing exactly what my parents must've felt, letting me go to Hogwarts twenty years ago...

Layla and Scorpius, pushed the window down and waved to us again, from their compartment.

I gasped, when the train was making its way around the corner... and in a flash they were gone.

I wheeled completely around, circling my arms around Draco's neck and releasing my partially empty nest.

"They'll be fine, love. I promise..." Draco spoke to me kissing my neck. I sniffed, "I know it. It's just so hard. I completely understand now, what it's like to do this, on the other side." I sobbed and laughed, with Draco wiping my tears away with his thumbs.

"Get a room..." Ron furiously barked at us, walking by, hand in hand with her leaving us, finally.

"Ignore him, he's jealous. He can't even stand it, he's so nauseatingly envious of me having you. And I have to say, I love it." Draco arrogantly chuckled, holding me tighter in his muscular arms.

"Mummy! Dad! Uncle Harry and Aunt Ginny want us to go to lunch with them!" Hugo came running up to us with Harry, Ginny, and Lily, trailing behind them.

"Of course! We'd love too!" I smiled towards them and waved.

We made our way to a local Muggle brunch spot called Another Broken Egg...

Had we a great time reminiscing of our happy times at Hogwarts and unhealthy rivalries of the Gryffindor and Slytherin houses.

It was the first time we actually sat down and all of us enjoyed our company. We laughed and laughed, and I never thought I would witness something so wonderful.

We finished our English brunch and headed back towards my home, still having not decided on which home to live permanently or building a new one.

"Come on, Love... I need to work this French Toast off." Draco whispered in my ear walking into our living room from the fireplace.

Hugo ran outside to play and Draco and I had some time to ourselves to

workout...

✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

We received an owl from our children, a few days after Layla and Scorpius had arrived at Hogwarts, informing us of which house they were sorted into...

Layla of course, was placed into Gryffindor and Scorpius was legendarily placed into Slytherin, by no any other means deem necessary...

"Our heated rivalry continues," Draco devilishly drawled kissing my neck. "Draco! Look who else was sorted into Slytherin?!"

I pointed to where Layla had revealed what house Albus Severus Potter was sorted into...

Slytherin?!

Draco fiendishly smirked and couldn't help but laugh. He was literally hysterically laughing on my sofa... I popped him on his arm, feeling the giggles rising up from my stomach to my throat, to blurt out of my mouth, "Draco iitt's n-not f-funny!" I stammered trying to control my laughter.

"The hell, it isn't?!" Draco roared in his snickers. "A Slytherin Potter! Fucking hell, there's so much justice in this form of karma, wow..." Draco was beside himself in glee. I rolled my eyes at him, standing off of the couch, and was instantly stopped by Draco lassoing my waist with his hands, and pulling me down to sit on his lap. I twisted to face him with a scowling look. Draco raised his right eyebrow at me, with the same magnetic smirk that unfailingly lead me to forget why I was upset with him.

Draco ran his skilled wizarding hands up my spine, sending shocks of lust throughout my entire existence. He cupped his hand around the back of my neck, and seductively pushed me down into his plumped lips, and brushing against them to tell me, "You know you Gryffindor girls, couldn't resist us Slytherin boys. Albus will adjust swimmingly..." he finished his suggestive sentence and salaciously snogged me.

Dammit, I hated it when Draco was right... the delicious devil sent to me from the stars.

I loved, to love him. And I loving, loved to hate him...

Awwwww!!! They're off to Hogwarts!! Did you love it?!?! Stay tuned for more!! 😍😘
