Writer's pov:

Three years after epilogue-1 (Hari-29, Vikram-27, Harshi-26, Twins-25)

"Please move, move!" A voice shouted over the towering crowd, trying to navigate her way through the people surrounding the soon-to-be official couple, her arms carrying two heavy white rosebud garlands.

"Where are the garlands? Why is it taking so long?"

'Well, idiot, if you guys move your ass away, I can bring it soon.' The young woman rolled her eyes as she stood on her toes, brown eyes scanning across the room to locate her husband, who was also coincidentally searching for her.

His eyes brightened when their eyes met, and his tensed muscle relaxed as he strode toward her while admiring how pretty she was in the pink saree.

Her petite figure was draped in a peachy pink silk saree, bringing out the rosy glow on her skin, her hair parted in the middle and gathered in an elegant bun with a few strands of hair framing her face.

"Where did you go? Are you alright?" He engulfed her softly into his arms, his left hand protectively reaching over to her stomach, concealed by her saree.

"I went to pick up the garlands from the car. I'm fine! Relax, maams!" Vihana assured her husband, placing her free hand that's not carrying the garland on top of his large hand.

Despite her assuring words, Hari frowned, grabbing the garlands off her arms, wrapping the other arm around her shoulder, and guiding her to the waiting couple. "You should have asked one of us to go. I don't know why you should tire yourself by running errands like this."

"Our car was parked literally outside the temple. How is it tiring to walk a 100m?"

"Don't try to reason. See how you are sweating!" He sighed, dabbing her forehead gently with a tissue after passing the garlands to his mother.

"Careful with the kumkum!" Vihana warned when she felt the tissue touching her skin, near her sindoor she applied on her hair parting, causing her husband to pause and stare at her in disbelief.

"You worry about that but don't care about yourself and the b—"

"Shush, Mr. Hariharan. You worry too much!" Rolling her eyes at her husband's overprotective self, she walked away to join her brother, leaving behind a speechless Hari as he stared at her until she reached her brother, then went to help his father welcome guests.

"How's my niece doing?" Vihaan enquired, his eyes twinkling when he saw his twin coming toward them, her right hand on top of her stomach protectively.

"How's my nephew doing?" A voice interrupted, raising a challenging brow at Vihaan. He pouted at his girlfriend's statement, but Dhanya didn't even bat an eye at him as she stared at Vihana with a smile.

The fashion diva looked gorgeous, a golden saree draped on her tall figure, complimenting her dusky complexion as she stood beside her boyfriend, glowing under the sunlight.

"Not you too. Please call the baby just a baby. I'm not in a mood to hear you guys argue about the baby's gender again." Vihana sighed tiredly, already wanting to go back to her husband.

Though he is overprotective and nagging sometimes, he was a lot better than this fashionista pair.

Her mood dampened when she found him at the temple entrance helping her father-in-law, clearly too busy to give her company while the other couple argued in the background.

"Guys, please." Vihaan had enough, so she stood between them, causing them to pause their argument.

"Sorry. Here, lean on me if you are tired." Vihaan offered, patting his chest for her to lean on.

Accepting his generous offer, a breath of relief escaped her lipstick-tinted lips as she leaned against her twin for support while his arms went around her shoulder protectively.

"Thanks, bro. At least you are useful for this." Vihana patted his sturdy chest teasingly as she enjoyed his warm embrace.

Vihaan scoffed, pinching her arms lightly in annoyance, but one could see the smile on his lips as he leaned down and kissed the top of her head.

Not wanting to disturb the rare peace among the siblings, Dhanya stated, "Okay, I'll go accompany my babe over there. You guys rest for a few minutes!"

"Wait, Dhanya! I'll come with you! I can't stand this blabbermouth." Vihana called.

"Hey!" Vihaan grumbled, annoyed that both the ladies ditched him. His eyes widened when he saw Vihana climb the step casually without holding the railing. "Viha, careful!"

"I know!" Vihana rolled her eyes at yet another overprotective male in her family.

She regretted announcing her pregnancy to them last week. She should have waited a few more days before informing them, but her eager ass blurted it out to her husband, who happened to be on call with her overly enthusiastic mother.

And that was how the overprotective saga began.

"Aww, look at my bestie!" Dhanya's squeal broke her train of thoughts.

"Wow!" Vihana gasped, stopping in her tracks as she stared at her cousin, her brother's bride.

The only thought that rang through Vihana's mind as she scanned her cousin from head to toe was, 'Breathtaking. Absolutely breathtaking.'

"How do I look?" Harshitha questioned; a smile stretched on her red lips as she awaited their answer.

She was decked in a rich maroon Kancheepuram handloom silk saree, the drape accentuating her beautiful curves. As if implying how her life would be filled with love and tenderness, her whole saree had exquisite bloom patterns that glistened when the light reflected with infinite flower vines along the border.

She had opted for a natural look, so they only applied light makeup to enhance her already beautiful features, as red roses and jasmine buds adorned her braided hair to complete the look.

"You look stunning, like super stunning!" Dhanya grinned, hugging her gently, mindful not to mess up the antique set her best friend adorned on her neck.

"You look smoking hot!" Vihana exclaimed, embracing the beautiful bride in her arms, who hugged her back gently.

"Thank you, ladies! You both look so pretty!"

"Harshi!" Vihana drawled.

"What?" Sensing something off, Harshitha tilted her head at Vihana as she stared at her without blinking, a creepy smile on her face as she glanced behind her smugly.

'Is someone behind?'

Seeing Harshitha start to turn around, Vihana quickly stopped her from turning, cupping her face to look at her.

"You know what? Let's ditch our husbands and marry each other." Vihana suggested and winked, causing Harshitha to burst into laughter.

"Viha! If you'd confessed to me before Vikram. I would have totally married you!" Harshitha playfully slapped her arms, eyes curving in crescents as she beamed, her almond eyes lined with kohl and eyeliner twinkling in mischief.

"Who would you have married, baby?"

Harshitha's breath hitched when a strong arm circled her waist from behind, pulling her back against a hard chest; the chest she had leaned against million times. She placed her mehndi-filled hands on the person's forearm, turning around to see her handsome groom already staring at her.

His tall form dressed in half white dhoti and shirt, golden zari running along the length of the dhoti, making him look more elevated in height.

"Y- you." Her already blush-dusted cheeks reddened under his smoldering gaze as his brown eyes scanned her from head to toe, his arms tightening around her waist when he noticed her red-painted parted lips.

He couldn't wait to kiss those lips.

Noticing the bindi was slightly off to the right, he raised his hand to correct her maroon bindi between her arched eyebrows, the gold kaapu snug around his wrist glistening in the sunlight as he caressed her cheeks gently. (Kaapu-men's bracelet/bangle)

"Ready?" Vikram's voice was hoarse with emotion as he stared down at his darling with bright eyes, who returned it with a sweet smile.

"Always," Harshitha replied, nodding as she stared forward at the makeshift altar.

"The registrar is here," Radha announced, waving the to-be-couple over, a sweet smile on her face as she watched them standing under the tree, her son's arms around Harshu tightly as they spoke among themselves.

Swoon.

As Hari and Vihana decided to tie the knot the same year they got engaged, Vikram and Harshu wanted to wait a year for their wedding.

However, when they started the plan after a year, Harshitha got transferred to Hyderabad, so they had to postpone the wedding till her project was over, which nearly took a year to complete.

Now, they were finally getting married after three long years of engagement, and she couldn't be happier.

"We have another five weddings scheduled after this, so please make it quick." The registrar stated, opening the temple register book, in which the couples sign to get their marriage certificate later.

Legally, if a couple wanted to get married in the temple, they had to go through n number of processes to get their legal marriage certificate.

Getting married wasn't as easy as portrayed in films and books! A thali tied around their necks and sindoor smeared on their foreheads is not enough to make them legally married. The documents must be legally registered.

(W/N- I'm just trying to educate you guys, hehe🤧, don't elope, kids. Be wise-says the one who wants to elope just for the thrill😭, just kidding, don't tell my mom💀) okay, back to the story!

As per their family tradition, all the wedding takes place in the temple, so they decided to get married in Coimbatore Eachanari temple. (Lord Ganesha temple)

Within a few minutes, everyone gathered around the beautiful couple, who looked like a match made in heaven as they exchanged the garland, their friends and cousin hollering loudly.

"Anni! Don't let anna put the garland!" Vihana ordered, pulling Harshitha back from Vikram, whose hand was left hanging in the air as his bride was pulled away.

Vihana winked at her brother and embraced her sister-in-law from behind, placing a loud smooch on the bride's cheeks to annoy her brother, which perfectly worked as he narrowed his eyes at her.

'Naa single ah irukum bothu epdi torture panirpa!' Vihana raised a challenging brow at her brother.

"Hari, please mind your wife. She was trying to covet my bride from the morning," Vikram's lips quirked up in a smirk, his shirt straining against his bicep as he reached forward and pulled Harshitha into his arms, who shook her head, hearing everyone burst into laughter.

"Am I not enough for you? You want my sister too, hmm?" Hari murmured against her ear, his lips grazing against her ear slyly as he drew her petite figure into his arms.

Captured between his protective arms, she shrugged and murmured, "Well, what could I do? She is gorgeous." Hari chuckled, tightening his arms around his pregnant wife gently.

Once the garlands were exchanged, they were asked to fill out the form.

Vikram's steady hands filled out detail quickly as if there was no tomorrow, causing everyone to laugh at his speed. "Slow down, Vikram. No one's going to steal your bride!"

"Harshitha, please fill this." Harshitha moved forward at the registrar's call, her bangles clanking like a melody as she took the pen out of Vikram's hand and wrote the detail precisely.

"Does anyone have an objection to this wedding? If, please tell." The man behind the registrar's sharp voice boomed over the crowd, forcing everyone silent.

Everyone stayed silent. The only noise filling the space was the birds chirping and the vehicle running on the road. Suganya even closed Devi's mouth with her hands to prevent the moody teenager from speaking.

"If not, I will proce—

"I *ahem* have *ahem*."

Vikram's head snapped up when he heard a familiar voice followed by a series of coughs, more like mocking and teasing coughs from the side.

"Do you guys need anything?" Vikram gritted the question through his teeth, his hands forming in fists as he glared at their group of friends standing among the crowd, all dressed in color coordination with their partner/spouse.

"No, machan. Everything alright!" Feeling his best friend's seething glare, Gokul coughed, acting like he was choking in the air. In an attempt to sound honest, he leaned against his wife like he was fainting, who facepalmed at his 50-paise acting.

"Then, please keep your f—" He stopped when he saw his mom's warning glare directed towards him at his choice of the word inside the temple and continued, "—freaking mouths shut."

Their friends nodded, struggling to control their laughter as they saw Vikram possessively hold Harshitha's hand.

Whipped

"Any other ob—

Vikram interrupted, "Sir, can we move on to the next step?"

The registrar's gaze swept across the young groom looking at him with impatience as he leaned against the table.

"Hmm, yes." He nodded, pursing his lips and pushing the register towards the couple.

"Sign here."

Before signing, Vikram's bright eyes looked at his darling, who was already smiling at him, her eyes looking at him with unshed tears.

Engulfing her left hand tightly, he leaned down and signed his name under the groom column, feeling his darling lean against his arms while the sound of the camera shutters filled the background with their family and friends' cheers.

"The bride." Harshitha closed her eyes and breathed deeply to calm her palpitating heart. Her heart was heavy with emotions as she stared at the form with moist eyes.

Everything felt unreal but beautifully unreal.

"Relax, baby," Vikram whispered, kissing her knuckles as he caressed her back gently with his left hand. "Here, smile for me!" Harshitha looked up at him and gave him a sweet smile, to which he grinned back and said, "That's my girl!"

Seeing the display of affection, everyone awed, causing Harshitha to hide her blushing cheeks in Vikram's arms, even his ears turned red, but he had an earsplitting smile.

Soon, loud cheers and congratulations filled the temple as Harshitha signed her name, sealing their future together.

A beautiful future they dreamed of together for more than thirteen years.

The moment she dropped the pen on the table, she was embraced by her husband —the word husband felt so beautiful— his strong arms squeezing her gently into his arms. She breathed deeply, his intoxicating scent engulfing her, causing her to melt into his arms.

Keeping the place and people in their minds, they didn't dare hug for more than a few seconds before retracting.

"Ponnu, maapilai, inge vaango! Thali kata venamona?" The priest beckoned the couple over to the makeshift altar, where the sacred fire was lit as he chanted the mantras.

(Bride and groom, come here! Don't you want to tie the mangalsutra?)

The glowing couple strode over while their family's power couple Prathyuksha and Siddharth signed the witness and completed the remaining procedure. (Wink wink)

"I wanna get married too." Dhanya clutched her boyfriend's shirt, seeing her best friend and Vikram sit down in front of the sacred homa.

Vihaan raised an eyebrow, looking at her shiny eyes in amusement, and replied, "Sure, but only if the groom was me."

"Then who would I marry, idiot?" Vihaan laughed, and his head was thrown back in laughter as his sassy girlfriend strode away to join everyone.

Seeing the Harshitha break out in sweat, Vihana crouched down to offer the tissue, who took it out of her hands with a grateful smile.

"Maa, could you ask the others to move back?" Vikram requested his mother see all the ladies pushing to stand near them. If he didn't speak now, they would surely spoil the moment when he ties the thali.

"Okay." Radha requested everyone to move back, beckoning Dhanya and Viha to stand behind the bride and groom. Sakthi and herself stood at the sides with their husband.

The grandparents, who were in their 80s' sat on the chair that was brought by Hari for the elders. As if defying the time, they still looked the same as they were in their 70s.

Eating healthy and breathing pure oxygen was one of the main reasons they still looked good and moved freely. That's why they want Vihana to stay at their native place during her pregnancy, but Vihana was not okay with staying without Hari.

And Hari was not okay with leaving his wife out of his sight. That would be discussed after the wedding and other rituals.

"Hari, go stand beside Viha." Lakshmi patted his hands, which were placed on the back of her chair when she saw Vihana looking around in the crowd. Surely searching for her husband.

"Hmm, do you need anything?" Hari leaned down and asked her, his eyes glancing at his wife as she spoke to Dhanya over the loud chanting.

"Hari, we're here with them! You go enjoy your sister's wedding." Prathyuksha's warm voice said, urging him towards the altar as she turned around in search of her husband.

Where did that clingy giant go?

A gentle smile broke onto her face when she saw him carrying their child in his arms as he coaxed the child to stay awake, who kept snuggling closer into his neck, hiding those beautiful eyes behind those long lashes.

.

.

"Ketumelam ketumelam!"

Vikram reached out his hands to their grandparents, who passed the sacred thali to him after praying. His fingers tightened around the yellow threat as he tilted his head at his darling, who nodded at him.

Her face was illuminated by the sacred fire lit before them, her kohl-lined eyes shining as she gazed at him with love, causing his heart to skip a beat.

She makes him fall for her every second.

Every damn second.

The rhythm of nadaswaram and thavil filled the temple as he tied the thali around his darling's neck, his gaze fixed on his darling's face as she looked back at him, a smile playing on their lips.

"I'll do it." He stopped Vihana when she reached to tie the third knot as per tradition. Vihana rolled her eyes at her brother playfully and stepped back as everyone around them laughed.

Vikram would never change.

In the middle of the flower shower and cheering, Vikram leaned forward and placed a chaste kiss on top of her head, his hands tightening around her small hands as a lone tear rolled down his cheeks.

"I love you." Harshitha mouthed, reaching forward to wipe his tears, her situation was not different from him either as she blinked back her tears, blushing when he leaned down, his lips dangerously close to her ear causing goosebumps to erupt on her skin from his hot breath as he whispered, "I love you more, pondatti!"

"Vikram." Harshitha smiled and pressed her palms against his chest, pushing him away from her slightly to create distance between them.

Her cheeks reddening even more when he helped her up and wrapped his arms around her waist, shamelessly placing his palm directly on her bare skin as they heard the priest's instruction.

The parents dabbed their eyes as they watched the newlywed complete other traditions as the priest instructed, their friends teasing them in the background.

Within minutes the area they sat in was cleared and cleaned for the next couple as they moved towards the lord Vinayagar deity in the front to pray.

"Don't miss anything!" Radha instructed her son as she looked around to see if she had missed anything.

"Maa, you go with anna and anni to the wedding hall. I'll settle everything here and then come there."

"Shall I ask Hari to accompany you?" Radha looked troubled as she watched her youngest speak to the priest to settle the balance amount.

"Maa, I can manage here. You join them." Vihaan urged, circling his arms around her shoulder as he guided her through the crowd.

"Okay, but careful." Radha reminded him, her eyes filled in worry as she stared up at him.

"Maa, don't worry!" Vihaan laughed, squeezing her hands gently, and walked back to the temple after leaving her beside her husband's car parked in the front.

"Shall we leave for breakfast?" Sivakumar questioned.

The newlyweds refused to stay all day at the wedding hall, welcoming guests and smiling for pictures. Instead, they just wanted a simple wedding with their close relatives and friends, which led to a series of arguments between the couple and grandparents about their decision to have a small wedding.

At last, they concluded that the day before the wedding would be their reception, and they were free to go wherever they needed after the wedding. And nobody would disturb them.

So now the wedding was over, they were headed to the wedding hall to have their breakfast and return home to rest.

"Radha?" Sivakumar called, staring at her dazed expression in concern as he opened the car door for her.

"My children are all grown up now. They don't need my help anymore." Radha pouted sadly.

"Don't need your help? Viha is pregnant, and next, Vihaan is going to get married! We have so much responsibility hereafter, and they would need our help for sure."

"Who is speaking about them? I'm talking about my help as a matchmaker!"

"Matchmaking?" He blinked in confusion.

"Yes, then what do you think I'm speaking about? So unromantic." Radha frowned, glancing at her husband from the corner of her eyes, who looked clueless as a baby.

Not letting him question her, she continued, "I have to wait for another 20 years to play cupid again for our grandkids! Aish, what will I do till then? Should I ask Devi if she needs any help in her love life?"

"Devi is just a child!" Sivakumar exclaimed, looking at his wife to see if she had fallen and damaged her head somewhere.

"Shush! I heard from Suganya that Devi has had a crush on a boy recently. Maybe I'll go ask her if she needs my help!" Radha nodded to herself, a look of determination on her face as she strode towards the teenage girl, leaving Sivakumar behind with a dumbfounded expression.

He watched his wife say something to Devi, whose eyes lit up brightly as she nodded her head eagerly at whatever Radha said as they both got inside Suganya's car.

'What the!'

.

.

"Ready for our new life?" Vikram murmured into his wife's ear as he embraced her from behind as they stood at the entrance of their home.

Their home, which would witness their ups and downs.

Their small two-story house was situated just ten minutes away from their parent's homes. And two minutes away from Dhanya's home.

It became an argument when the elders heard they were house hunting and wanted to gift it to them for their wedding, but the couple firmly refused and paid the down payment with their hard-earned money and savings from childhood.

They still have to pay the rest of the payment monthly for more than 3 years, but that wasn't a problem considering both of them have a stable income.

"Born ready," Harshitha replied, leaning back against his chest, a smile stretched on her lips as she stared ahead.

"Born ready, huh?" He smiled, his lips lingering near her ear for a second before pressing a kiss behind her ear teasingly as his sly hands entered under her jumper and squeezed the curve of her waist.

Harshitha pried her husband's warm hands off her skin and reprimanded him with a playful glare, "Vikram, stop that! Our neighbor gonna think we are shameless people."

She looked around to ensure no one saw them, breathing a sigh of relief when she saw no one in sight except for a few vehicles driving past their compound.

"Aren't we?" Vikram raised a teasing eyebrow at the woman in his arms, laughing when she moved away from him and tucked her jumper into her high waist trouser, hiding the sliver of skin that peeked before.

"We? Just you! I'm not shameless like you!"

"Hmm, if you say so, baby." Vikram winked at her, drawing her into his arms again.

The fallen leaves and twigs crunched under their shoes as they walked on the stone way, their favorite plants were planted on both sides of the way, leading to the threshold of their home, carrying a fresh floral scent in the air as they walked past them.

"Here," Vikram presented the key to his wife, who beamed at him and unlocked the door holding his hands. With a bright smile, they stepped into their home with the right foot first.

"Welcome home, husband!" Harshitha circled her arms around his waist and pecked his lips with a smile. He closed his eyes and kissed her deeply, bringing her closer as the door shut behind them.

"Welcome home, pondatti!" Vikram whispered, sweeping her off her feet and causing her to burst into giggles as he strode into their home.

.

.

"Vikram?"

Vikram looked up from his phone, a smile spreading on his lips when his wife's head peeked out of the bathroom room. Her beautiful face flushed red from the hot shower she took as she stared at him with an innocent smile.

"Do you need anything?"

"My body lotion. It's in my handbag." She pointed at the handbag placed on the nightstand.

Vikram nodded, placing his phone on the bed and searching for her lotion inside her bag.

After he found that, he walked to his wife, who forwarded her hands to him to pass it.

"Gimme that!"

"I wanna help," Vikram smirked, leaning against the wall beside the door as he watched his wife narrow her eyes at him.

"I'm fully capable of doing that."

"I know you are, but I wanna help my newlywed wife. Is it wrong to help my wife apply lotion?"

After a moment of hesitation, Harshitha sighed, beckoning him inside. 'It's not like he's gonna jump on her, right?'

'That's new,' Vikram's eyebrow rose in surprise when she opened the door wide enough for him to sneak in.

"Come in, but no funny business."

"Absolutel— oh, fuck"

His heartbeat quickened when he stepped inside the bathroom, her scent engulfing him from every corner as the whole room smelt like her.

As if that was not enough to kill him, she stood in her shorts and a bra, which left not so little imagination in his mind.

Her nicely toned body glistened from the warm sensual led light hung above their head on the high ceiling, causing his blood to run straight down at the sight as he took a deep breath to control himself.

"Come here," Harshitha's hips swayed as she walked to the counter and hopped on it, leaving Vikram with his not-so-innocent thoughts as he clutched the lotion within his palm.

'Definitely his fault for insisting that he help her.'

For the next three minutes, it felt like hell and heaven for Vikram as he applied the lotion to her soft skin, his large palm spread with the shea butter glided up from her neck to shoulder to her wrist smoothly, earning a breathy moan from her.

"Baby, you gotta stay silent if you don't want our first time to be on the bathroom counter." Vikram breathed, closing his eye to stop the dirty thoughts forming in his mind as he kneeled before her to apply it to her legs.

"Sorry." Harshitha gasped, biting her lower lips as she stared at her husband's tense body as he concentrated on the task in his hand.

Vikram doesn't know how he endured the last five minutes as he finally completed applying the lotion all over her body.

"Vikram." Her arms encircled his neck as she pulled him down, to which he obliged, leaning down to welcome her kiss. Their lips moved against each other in a short deep kiss. His warm lips kissed their way down her neck and across her shoulder while his hands moved south to cup her heavy breasts.

She sighed with pleasure, molding her body against his as her hands caressed his back with her fingertips, wrapping her legs around his waist to bring him closer.

"Holy shit." Vikram gasped when he felt pressed against her, his hand tightening its hold on her thighs when she started grinding against him slowly as their lips met again.

'They gotta stop before this escalates.

"We got to stop," Vikram whimpered against her lips as he stepped back, his body hot and sweaty from their make-out, which left him with a raging hard-on.

"What happened?"

"Not now, baby. Wait for me outside." His voice was strained as he turned away from his darling, leaning his forehead against the shower glass door to cool down. The glass door was cold against his hot skin bringing a soothing sensation.

"Why?" Harshitha smirked, plastering her body to his behind as she ran her hand inside the black shirt stretched across his taut body.

"Harshitha," Vikram warned, his voice heavy as he caught her wandering hand on his chest.

Not minding his words, Harshitha playfully grazed her palm over the front of his sweatpants.

As if hell broke loose, she wasn't sure what happened, as one moment she was hugging his back, and the next, her back was against the glass door as Vikram looked down at her with desire-filled eyes.

"Aren't you enjoying teasing me? You know I won't do anything, so you are teasing me, hmm?"

"When did I tease? I just hugged you," She feigned, her lips forming a pout innocently.

"Oh, really?"

"Y.. you stay right there." She gulped, pointing her finger at him in warning when he stepped forward, trapping her against the glass door.

"I thought I could give you a romantic night by cooking you some dinner and," He leaned down, pinched her chin, and lifted her head to meet her eyes. His gaze lingered on her lips that were red from their earlier kiss as he leaned down and caressed his lips on her blushing cheeks.

"And?" Her question came out in a whisper as his lips skimmed across her cheeks to ear, leaving behind a trail of kisses that left her panting for more.

With his shirt in her fists, she fought back the urge to jump on him.

His voice was heavy with desire as he continued, "and having you as my dessert, dessert in our bed." Hearing his suggestive words, Harshitha reddened, her lashes fluttering shut as she hid her hot face into the curve of his neck.

"But someone here is eager to start it in the bathroom. So, tell me, do you wanna start now?" He didn't mind doing it now, he just wanted them both to be well rested so they could enjoy it their first time.

Not to mention that they both slept late at night and woke up by three in the morning to do a puja. They are running on without sleep for two days straight. So, their main priority was to catch up on some sleep and replenish their energy.

"Night." She shook her head, her fingers tightening around her hold on his T-shirt.

"Then be a good girl and go out. Your husband has to take care of something." Vikram shook his head, meeting her lips in a quick kiss before shutting the door behind him with a grimace as he looked down. 'Cold shower, here I come.'

(W- because he didn't come💀)

.

.

"Why do you even bother decking up for which you most likely would end up naked within seconds?"

"Dhanya!" Vihana and Harsitha gasped, gaping at the tall woman, their eyes wide and mouths open in astonishment at the diva's unhinged statement.

"I think you can just be naked so it would avoid all the unnecessary time you guys' waste while undressing each other!"

"Dhanya Sri! Shut up!"

"What? I just pointed out the truth." Dhanya nonchalantly shrugged as she combed her best friend's hair.

As if she remembered something, she paused, turning around to face Vihana with a teasing grin. "And you, Vihana, don't act like I said something you didn't do—" she pointed at the younger woman's stomach with a smirk and said, —which clearly you did!"

"Hey! Why are you pulling me into this?!" Vihana's whole face reddened as she hid her face behind the pillow she was hugging before.

"Well, then don't be shy about fucking, darling! You are the most experienced among us, so please enlighten us wi—

"Dhanya, stop!" Harshitha regretted asking her best friend to fetch her makeup bag from her home.

When she got up from their long nap by seven, Vikram was already up and out to buy the ingredients leaving her a note to get ready for dinner once she woke up.

After coming out of the shower, Harshitha realized she had left her skincare and makeup in her parent's home, so she asked Dhanya if she could fetch them.

And here she was with Vihana at her doorstep within 10 minutes, insisting they help her get ready, which was clearly not going well.

"Okay, okay! I'll shut up. You guys are so soft."

For the next few minutes, the girl gossiped about their relatives' behavior at Harshitha and Vikram's wedding.

"Seriously! You should have seen her reaction when she saw me hug Vihaan in your house! She looked like she could have a heart attack any moment." Dhanya exclaimed, finishing up Harshitha's hairstyle as they burst into waves of laughter as she mimicked the lady's expressions.

Vihana's ringtone went off, interrupting their conversation.

"It's Hari," Vihana told them and pressed the answer icon.

"Hey, I'm here already. Come down." Hari's voice was heard from the speaker as Dhanya grabbed her thing off the dresser.

"Yeah, we'll be down in a minute." Vihana hung up and raised up on her feet.

"So.." Dhanya drawled, throwing her arms around the new bride's shoulder with a teasing smile and presenting a small box to her hands.

"So?" Harshitha narrowed her eyes at her best friend and accepted the box cautiously. "What's in there?"

"Protection, baby! —Oh, wait, I said that wrong. It's protection from the baby! I know you want to have kids after a year so, this!" Dhanya explained, grinning at her best friend as the latter blinked at her in shock. "And also, I know that with the love you guys have for each other, you gonna do it like rabbits, so this is a must!"

"Dhanya! That's my brother and sister-in-law you are speaking about! Please, I'm still here." Vihana looked like she was going to be sick as she leaned against the door.

"I have more with me. Don't be shy, call me if you need more at night! I'll deliver it to you within five minutes!" Dhanya added, raising an eyebrow at her best friend suggestively.

"I think I gonna puke."

"Viha!" Harshitha exclaimed, following the young woman in panic as she ran into the bathroom, leaving Dhanya to stare at them in confusion.

"Then how will you react if I said I stole this condom from your twin's cupboard?" Dhanya muttered, shaking her head at her soft-hearted girls.

2 hours later, Dhanya's home

Under the warmly lit room, Dhanya stood beside her mannequin as she draped the fabric across its waist and adjusted it to her client's liking.

Humming a tune under her breath, she opened the design sheet to confirm the style specification before she pinned the fabric.

"Dhanu! Your phone is ringing." Her mother shouted from downstairs, causing her to frown in annoyance.

'Who the hell calls after 10 if not her boyfriend? But he knew she was busy today, so it might not be him.'

A lazy smirk formed on her lips when she saw the caller ID. She pressed answer and exclaimed, "Bitch, you guys sure are faster than rabbits. Do you want me to deliver another box for you? Did you guys complete the whole box I gave you? It had 7 in it!"

"Ahh ahhh."

"Why are you panting instead of answering my question?" She paused as her eyes widened, "Did you just call me in the middle of doing that?"

2 hours ago, H&V's home,

"Thank you for the dinner, husband. It was delicious." Harshitha cleared her throat and said to him with a smile.

After the girls left, Vikram came from the supermarket with a bag of groceries and a bottle of wine. As Harshitha got ready while he was out, he went to refresh while she started dicing the vegetable and sorted out the ingredients for dinner.

Soon, a dashing and fresh Vikram joined, then together, they made their dinner without exchanging words.

Occasionally, Vikram would plant a kiss on her neck or behind her ear and go back to his task, leaving Harshitha baffled with his sudden kisses.

"Thank you, darling. You sure would love the dessert." Vikram smirked, enjoying her expressions as they changed from smile to confusion to shyness as she looked down to hide her face.

The sexual tension was so thick in the air that a knife could cut through as they sat opposite each other.

"You have sauce in there." Vikram chuckled, pointing at her chin with his finger as he collected the dishes off the table. The black trousers he wore strained against his muscular legs as he strode to the kitchen to place the dirty dishes in the sink.

"Where?" Harshitha questioned, wiping her face with a tissue as she searched for her phone. Her moments paused when she saw him walking toward her holding her phone.

"Here," His voice was rough and deep as he spoke into her ear, his chest pressed against her back as he stood behind her. So close that she would feel his body heat even through their layer of clothing.

Taking a deep breath, she opened the camera app with shaky hands. Her eyes widened as she looked as if she was high, her almond eyes hooded with desire, cheeks flushed, and lips so red as if someone bit them.

Ignoring her appearance, she tipped her head up to check her chin. "There is nothing there." Her voice came out in a soft whisper, looking at him through the camera as she felt his strong arms encircle her waist from the back.

"Now?" Harshitha gasped as she felt something cold pour on her neck, it glided down to the collarbone to the swell of her breast, peaking out of her blouse.

"Ready for the dessert?" Before she could comprehend what was happening, she was pulled back into his chest, and her organza saree fell down from her shoulder, revealing the low-cut blouse she had worn, which left not so little imagination in her husband's mind.

"Vikram," Her head leaned against his shoulder in pleasure as his head dipped down and his warm tongue licked the chocolate off her smooth skin.

He caressed and squeezed the curve off her waist as he licked and sucked the sweet dessert off her skin, which left her gasping for oxygen.

He pinched her chin and raised her head to meet her lips in a kiss. He guided her toward the table without breaking the kiss, picking her up and placing her on the table for easy access.

Her slender finger worked fast on his shirt button as he caressed her face, trailing a finger down her neck, between her breasts, and tugging at the blouse hooks holding her breast from spilling out.

"Door!" Harshitha whispered, clutching his arms when she felt his hands unhooking her blouse.

The door and the gate were not locked yet.

"Okay, wait in our room. I'll be back soon." Vikram instructed, draping his shirt around her shoulder as he walked out of the dining room to the front door to lock it while Harshitha hurried to their room.

Harshitha grinned, leaning back against the door as she clutched his shirt to her chest. 'They gonna make love for the first time.'

Her breathing hitched when she felt something trickle down to her underwear, followed by a cramp in her lower stomach.

"Oh shit."

She hurried to the bathroom and locked the door behind her.

"Please don't be that." She bit her lips and looked down to see her lingerie stained in blood.

She checked under the cupboard to see if there was any napkin but found none. She quickly discarded the stained underwear, changed it into a fresh one, and used a bunch of tissue as a makeshift napkin.

"Baby?" Vikram knocked on the door when he didn't find her in their bedroom.

Harshitha opened the door and beckoned him inside, which left him confused at her action.

His steps halted when his vision fell on her underwear on the counter.

"Wow." Vikram blinked slowly and looked towards his wife to see her biting her lips to hold back her laughter.

Once their eyes met, both of them doubled over in laughter.

Once their laughter slowed, Vikram worriedly asked as he looked into the cupboard, "Do you have a napkin?"

"No, going to the store might take 10 minutes, I'll call Dhanya."

"Okay, let her know I'll pick it up." Vikram embraced his wife gently and kissed her forehead.

"Okay, careful on the way," Harshitha instructed, tiptoeing to give him a kiss.

"Hmm," Vikram hummed as he felt her suck his lower lip and tug it with her teeth as she pulled him down.

"For someone on their period, you sure tease me and then leave me with blue balls, baby." Vikram pulled back from the kiss and rested his forehead against her.

"I might be the biggest cockblocker to our love." Harshitha laughed, squealing as he picked her up and kissed her again.

"You sure are, darling!"
