Dave's POV

I was sitting in this restaurant as I waited for Sasha's parents to show up, not going to lie I was pretty nervous especially since they are trying to blame me for this whole thing, but regardless I was going to settle this without having to take anything to court. Sitting on my phone, I looked at the picture of my daughter who was now my screensaver and just smiled, it made me realize what Sasha's parents must be going through, I don't know what I would do if I lost Chanel.

"David?" Someone spoke lightly, looking up at the person I stood up to greet the women who I am assuming is Sasha's mom.

"Yes, please have a seat." She nodded sitting down across from me.

"Would you like anything to drink or eat?" She just shook her head no, I nodded not really knowing where to begin, but I figured I'd just tell her what I had to say

"First thing's first I just want to say I am truly sorry for what happened, no one expected things to go the way they did."

"Can you just tell me what happened?" Letting out the breath I was holding in, I decided to tell her everything.

"The fight should have never went as far as it did, I honestly didn't even know that Jacob had a gun and I didn't expect him to use it. I can't lie I think about that night everynight because no matter what no one should have to loose their life like that. But I would like to pay back everything you spent on the funeral, plus extra just in case you and your husband want some time alone, or to take a vacation." She looked up at me, I could see the tears brimming in her eyes.

"Dave, I shouldn't be suing you, like you said you weren't the one to pull the trigger and now I see that she was in the wrong place at the wrong time, I am truly sorry." It broke my heart to see her this way, I know I didn't know her but I could tell she was lost and didn't know what else to do. "Suing you isn't going to bring my baby back."

"So let me do this for you, I wrote a check for 300,000 I want you to take some time for yourself, I now have a little one so I can't imagine what you're going through. Please." I slid her the check and she just held it, standing up I stood up along with her, she pulled me into a long hug.

"Thank you so much." She cried, I didn't say anything just held her tightly as she cried, it was the least I could do.

Julissa's POV

Looking at my schedule I saw I had nothing planned for the day, honestly my hand was still hurting from doing all that work from yesterday, Chris and Kook were out doing their own thing, so I had a moment to myself which was nice. The only thing I hated was how quiet it was when they weren't here.

Heading downstairs to the kitchen I figured I'd make them a nice dinner, Chris has been super busy with whatever he was working on, he said it was a big secret and I would find out on Friday what he was doing, while Jungkook was taking care of his mother constantly which I admire him for that, I still can't believe he brought her all the from Korea to America, he truly loves his mom plus i know he did it to be around me more which just makes me like him even more. Both of them deserve a great home cooked meal since we've been eating out a lot, so we all need a break from that food.

2 hours later

I was setting the table all nice and pretty I wanted the boys to be surprised when they got back, I decided to make yams, cornbread, fried chicken, baked Mac n cheese, and green beans. Placing everything nicely on my cute bowl looking plates I went and placed their dinner at the table, just in time because I heard the door open and two loud asses walking in.

"Oh my god it smells good in here." I heard Chris yell, smiling at myself for doing such a good job I watched as they walked into the dinning room.

"Dinner is served." I smiled brightly

"Damn babe, I mean Julissa." He blushed as he tried to hide his embarrassment

"Babe is fine." I winked as i walked over placing a small kiss on his lips

"Better stop before you start something you don't wanna finish."

"Who says I don't want to finish." I winked before walking away leaving him there shook, tonight I think I was finally going to show him how much I wanted to be with him, but let see how dinner goes first.
