Damian's POV

Tuesday morning I awoke to the sunshine streaming into the room. Y/N laid beside me still asleep. Tony and Ziva were asleep by her feet. I allowed them to sleep for a while longer so I could make up y/n's sixth month anniversary gift. I slipped out of the hotel room and headed to the corner shop. It had almost everything I need except for an anniversary card. So I bought poster board and art supplies. I would make my own card.

We were staying in Missouri until tomorrow and then we were heading towards Georgia. I was so thankful for having y/n and the dogs along this trip and was grateful for packing extra clothes and supplies for the dogs. So I made my way back to the hotel, bags in hand whistling a tune when my phone begins playing the NCIS theme meaning y/n had texted me . I stopped and pulled it from my pocket.

Where are you?
Is everything okay?

Yes amor. Went to
do an errand. And no, no
hints. Heading
back now.

Okay. I'll
be with Demi
in the gym.

Okay amor. I have a
few things to do that you can't see
yet. 😏 So I will be down

I was thankful that Demi had gotten my message and asked y/n down to the gym. Those of us who live in Orlando are staying here in Missouri until we knew what was going on with Hurricane Milton. So just like us Demi was here in Saint Louis for an extra day.

I entered the hotel room. I sat at the table taking out my supplies to make the card. The rest of the stuff was stuff to make a chocolate basket for y/n as well as flowers and the copies of the emails saying we were going to Garth and Shania in December. I folded the poster board in half making a card. I took out the markers and began writing on the front ¡FELIZ 6th MES DE ANIVERSARIO BEBÉ!! I drew hearts all over before opening the card and writing

I smiled as I grabbed the purple and black basket taking all of y/n's favorite candy out of another bag. Placing all of it in the basket along with a small stuffed penguin. I smile as I set that up before placing the bouquet of flowers in a vase beside the basket and the card behind the basket standing up. I quickly change into work out clothes. I texted Demi.

Coming down.
Are you still at
the gym?

Still here.

Y/N's POV

Demi glanced at me "Okay. Luis is coming down. Thank God you were able to slip into the hotel room before he got back with your gift," she said.

"Yeah," I said as Luis strides through the door "Oh hi Baby," I smile cheerfully stopping the treadmill and hopping off.

"Hey," he said wrapping me in a warm hug before kissing my lips.

"You finish with whatever you needed to do?" I asked as he held me close.

He nodded and licked his lips smiling "I have. And by the way Baby," he said.

"Hm?" I hummed looking up at him.

"Feliz sexto mes de aniversario amor de mi vida," he said. (Happy sixth month Anniversary love of my life)

"Feliz sexto mes de aniversario amor de mi vida," I said as he pressed his lips against mine as I touched his cheek.

Damian's POV

"Excuse me," said Demi as y/n and I broke apart and looked at her "Hi. Yeah. Remember me? The friend who is the little sister? Yeah me. Can we layoff that," she said.

"Sorry," we both murmured as y/n and I separated. I took a treadmill beside y/n as Demi was on the elliptical across from us.

"It's okay. I'm just worried," she said "I know this hurricane isn't supposed to be as bad in Orlando but with us not being able to get home until tomorrow it sucks."

"Demi. I'm sorry," said y/n stopping her treadmill and going over to Demi. She placed a hand on top of Demi's "At least you got us. I know we're not Matt but you're not alone. You can borrow Ziva and Tony tonight if you want."

Demi looks at her and laughed "Oh so you two want the goobers out of the hotel room so you can celebrate your anniversary?" she smirks.

"That's just an awesome bonus. They get Tía Demi time and you're not alone tonight," I said and y/n winks at me.

"Okay. I will take the goobers," she said "I can snuggle them while you two snuggle each other," she said with a smirk and a wink.

"Better?" asked y/n. Leave it y/n to still be concerned about Demi and it made me love y/n all the more.

Demi smiles down at y/n "Better. Thank you y/n," she said as y/n gets back on the treadmill and she placed her ear buds into her ears and began jogging lightly on the treadmill. She must have been listening to her Karaoke Contest playlist on Spotify as she was singing Who's That Guy? from the Grease 2 soundtrack.

I smirk as I walked on the treadmill as she continued to sing along loud enough I could hear her. She looks over at me and smiled.

I tapped my ear and she removed an ear bud "You're singing Baby," I said quietly to her. She blushes but I smiled at her "But it's cute," I said.

She smiles at me "Wanna listen with me?" she asked holding up her ear bud.

I took it and placed it in my left ear as her left ear was open. She was currently listening to Black Magic by Little Mix "Oh you added songs to Dance?" I asked.

She nodded as she began jogging again "Yeah. While I got ready one day. You were on the road and I was home," she said "While Mama and Pops slept."

"Nice. When are we going to exchange our anniversary gifts?" I asked.

"When we get upstairs," she said "So you got me something?"

"I did," I said "Mm. You wanna go upstairs then?" I asked.

She smiled "Yes. Let's go," she said as we stopped the treadmills and waved good bye to Demi.

Upstairs....

Y/N gasped as soon as she saw the table "Oh Luis," she said looking at me.

"Go ahead Baby," I said gesturing to the table. She walked over to the table.

"Aww," she coos as she picked up the penguin "Oh Babe this is cute," she kisses my cheek before turning back to the table and grabbed the card. She smiled as she read the front "Luis. This is so sweet," she smiles "Did you make it?" I nodded and she smiles softly as she opens it and read the inscription "Baby," she said as her eyes fill with tears "I love you more than words can express," before she removes the taped paper on the opposite side of the card. She opened the paper and began reading "LUIS?! We? What?!" she throws her arms around my neck and she pressed her lips to mine "Thank you amor. Thank you! Now I feel like a turd."

"Why?" I asked.

She went to the small closet in the room before grabbing something. Turning to me "Because my gift sucks," she said bringing it to me "Happy sixth month anniversary."

I took the popcorn bucket and smiled "Baby. I love it," I said.

"You do?" she asked as her eyes met mine.

"Yes," I said bending and kissing her lips as I sat on the bed and pulling her to my lap as I started taking the stuff out. A few different horror movies, my favorite cookies, my favorite candy, some popcorn bags and the last thing. I pulled it out and it is a t-shirt. It was a Chucky shirt "Babe! I LOVE IT!" She smiles before I pulled her close and pressed my lips to hers. She wrapped her arms around my neck as my arms snaked around her waist and she deepens the kiss.

"Want to do lunch?" she asked as we broke the kiss.

I chuckled as I looked at the dogs "How about we take the goobers for a walk and we can grab a bite to eat at that dog friendly cafe?"

"Hmm. Sounds like a plan and we can get Demi a cupcake there."

I chuckled and peck y/n's lips "Okay. Tonight we have a candle lit dinner here and we dance to our song?" I asked.

She bit her lip and nods "Yes," she said "I would love it," she rests her forehead against mine "Let's get our babies ready."

I smiled and caressed her cheek "Yes," I said with a smile.
