Damian's POV

Tuesday mid morning y/n gently kissed my jawline. She caressed my cheek.

"Papi," she whispered into my ear "Wake up. I got a surprise for you," she kissed my neck.

"You?" I asked my eyes still closed.

"Mm," she hummed against my neck "No. Get up and get dressed. It's to big to carry," she pats my chest. I opened an eye and looked at her. She was already fully dressed "Now get up," she kissed my cheek before hoping off the bed. I rubbed the sleep from my eyes and stretched. Grabbing my glasses and slipping them on before getting out of bed. I got dressed. She held out her hand "Now close your eyes."

"Babe is it necessary?" I asked looking at her.

"Cariño, I could not wrap this gift now come on," she said "Close those beautiful brown eyes." She smiled at me and hell she could make me knock over a bank with that smile. I closed my eyes. She tucked my arm underneath hers as she held my hand as she lead me to the living room. She positioned me and let go of my hand "Okay Luis. Open em."

I did as I was told. My mouth dropped. There stood my brothers, sister in laws, niece and Charlie. I grabbed y/n and picked her up. I hugged her tightly and kissed her lips "Thank you so much amor," I said as she held my face and smiled.

"I take it you like my gift?" she asked "Seeing as we are flying on your birthday."

I nodded "I love my gift," I said.

"Instead of hugging me why don't you go hug the others," she giggles.

I set her down and walked over to my family and best friend. I shook Charlie's hand and gave him a hug. Gave my brothers a hug and a hand shake. Gave my sister in laws a hug and kiss on the cheek. Before taking Esmeralda and peppering her face with kisses "And you little miss. Happy Birthday," I said as I walked back to y/n and Esmeralda reached for her. Y/N took her and y/n peppers Esmeralda's face with kisses.

"Tío Luis is right. Feliz cumpleaños princesa," she said. Esmeralda had turned one yesterday. "Feliz Cumpleaños a ti," she began and we all joined in immediately "Feliz Cumpleaños a ti. Feliz Cumpleaños querida Esmeralda. Feliz Cumpleaños a ti. Y que cumplas muchos años más," Esmeralda claps in y/n's arms "Babe. Go grab Esme's gift. Left hand side right corner of our closet."

I chuckled "I remember," I said kissing the side of her head "Be right back."

I went into the bedroom and into the walk in closet. Grabbing the brightly wrapped box that contained Esmeralda's gift, y/n found on Amazon and showed me immediately knowing we had to get it for her.

I walk out and Esmeralda clapped "E oh! E oh!" she said as y/n sat on the floor with her. I put the box on the floor and sat behind y/n as Rachel and Lorenzo sat on the opposite side of the box.

"Go ahead Esme. Let's see what Tío Luis and Tía y/n got you," said Rachel taking Esmeralda and helping her start to unwrap the gift. Esmeralda screeched as she rips at the paper. Rachel helps her more. And Rachel gasped "Oh you guys!" We had gotten Esmeralda.....

"This is something we had been looking at but hadn't pulled the trigger," said Lorenzo.

"I know. You told me. I told y/n and she did the research and found this," I gesture to the box.

"Thank you," said Rachel as she came over and hugged us both.

"You're welcome," said y/n and I.

"And Luis. Lorenzo, Esme and I have a gift for you," said Rachel "And you too y/n. Since we missed your birthday last month," she went towards the bedrooms. I hadn't realized they had even got here before I woke up. She came back to the living room handing us boxes "Go ahead and open em."

Y/N and I exchange glances before opening them and y/n is the first one to open her box. She gasped and looked at me as I saw my gift too. Tío Luis² and Tía y/n²

"Are you pregnant ?" asked y/n.

Rachel smiled and nodded "Sixteen weeks and two days."

Y/N ponders for a moment "Rach? Um is this squared for Esme and the new baby or?"

And my brain clicked on "Yeah. Or are you?"

"Having twins?" we asked together making me smirk slightly.

Rachel and Lorenzo chuckled as they look at each other "They're more in sync with each other than we are," said Lorenzo with a chuckle "But no. It's Esme and the new baby."

"Congratulations," said y/n as she hugged Rachel and Lorenzo as she put her hand on the gift and laughed lightly "Well this is," she began.

"No. It's perfect. By the time next summer rolls around the new baby will only be three months when summer starts and six months when it ends. They won't be using a regular stroller for a while. He or she is due March eleventh."

I smiled and held out a hand to Lorenzo "Congratulations. And thank you for making me a Tio again," I said as I hugged Rachel.

"Thank you and you're welcome," chuckled Lorenzo.

"When do you find out what your having ?" asked y/n.

"When he or she gets here," said Rachel "And I do have a question for the both of you."

"What?" we asked.

"Will you be his or her Godparents?" they asked.

Y/N's mouth dropped as she looked at me before looking at them "Yes!" she squeaked.

"Of course," I said "And obviously you got her answer," I point to y/n with a smile.

"Fantastic," said Rachel as Esmeralda started to crawl but grabbed the box to pull herself up and then, Rachel gasped as Esmeralda started walking and right to y/n and I "Oh!"

Lorenzo quickly began recording on his phone "Her first steps!" he said as y/n quickly opened her arms and Esmeralda walked right into them.

Y/N looked at me wide eyed as Esmeralda hugged her.

"E ah! E ah!" she squeaked happily before pointing at me "E oh! E oh!"

I chuckled as tears fell "Good job Esme!" I said as I hugged y/n and Esmeralda.

"Esme," said y/n turning her around "Can you walk to Momma?" she stood Esmeralda on her feet and pointed to Rachel. Esmeralda held onto y/n's pointer fingers as Rachel backs up and kneels.

"Go on," I said and Esmeralda let go and began to toddle over to Rachel. Lorenzo recording the entire time. One step. Two steps. Three turned into four and then five. Esmeralda walked ten steps to Rachel.

Y/N looked up at me as she leaned against me before reaching up and wiping away tears that fell before she leaned up and kissed my cheek.

"Congratulations Tío Luis," she whispered "You got to see Esme's first steps."

I kissed y/n's lips "I'm so glad we all got to witness it," I said as she gave me a hug as Mamá and Pops were weeping on the sofa and Manny and Gina were congratulating Lorenzo and Rachel as Charlie was taking a picture for them.

"I think this is something to celebrate," said y/n as she got up "Ice cream for everyone. My treat. Come on," she looked down at me and I chuckled.

"Our treat. Just save room for dinner tonight with Demi and Matt," I said. Y/N giggles and she quickly kissed my cheek "Not gonna be a problem Babe," she smiled at me.

Ice Cream......

I am sitting beside y/n as Esmeralda sat on her lap and she fed her a vanilla and chocolate swirl. She hadn't tried to eat mine.

"Babe," I said as she turned and I held up a spoon to her.

She smiles "You know I can feed myself," she giggles as she opened her mouth and I fed her the ice cream "Thank you Baby," she smiles as I ate some.

"You're welcome," I said as y/n fed Esmeralda more of her baby ice cream "More?" I offer another spoonful.

She smiled but shook her head 'no' "Babe it's yours," she said.

"It's ours," I said still holding the spoon up "Please," I pout. She opened her mouth and I fed her some more "You know I could think of other ways to eat this," I whispered to her. She looked at me with a smirk and an arched eyebrow.

"Care to share?" she said turning towards me a bit more.

"Well. First," I said against her ear "You would be completely naked," I see her eyes move to me and back to the ice cream Esmeralda almost had and she skillfully moved it from her reach "Then I would dump it on you all over. Licking you clean before I made you mine."

"Buy more ice cream," she said to me quietly "We will celebrate your birthday later," she winked at me.

I smirk and took a bite of my sundae "As you wish mariposa," I said.

We both looked at my family and Charlie and they're studying us.

"Oh so you remember we were here," said Charlie with a laugh "The way you two had your heads together I thought you forgot about us."

"Well no," I said "I just wanted to ask y/n a question and well it's personal."

Charlie smirked and glanced at the ice cream and back at the two of us. He gave me a knowing smile as y/n bows her head a blush painting her cheeks as she fed Esmeralda the ice cream doing her best to ignore Charlie . I gave a quick kick to Charlie's shin.

"Ouch," he said as I raised an eyebrow at him and he knew not to say anything.

"Charlie. Dear are you okay?" asked Mamá.

"Perfectly fine," he said "Just hit my knee on the table."
