Damian's POV

We arrived at my parents place just a little after two pm. Y/N and I settled into my old bedroom. I'm getting ready to head to the Yankees game as y/n lounged on the bed reading. She laid the book on her chest and looked at me.

"Hoping for a win," she said with a smile.

"I am too. We win tonight we clinch the East Championship," I said with a smile.

"And it would be a great birthday present," she said.

"Naw. A great birthday present was what you gave me this morning," I wink.

She blushed lightly.

"Hey I promised you morning sex on your birthday. It just happen to be oral sex," she said.

"And," I leaned down hovering over her our eyes meeting "It was absolutely perfect," I peck her lips "Have fun with Mamá," I said.

"Luis you have fun with the guys. Just don't be to surprised if I am out like a light when you get home," she said caressing my cheek.

I chuckled and kissed her forehead "I will be quiet okay?" I said.

"Just pace yourself with the beer," she teased.

"I will," I said as she sat up and wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me.

"Te amo mucho mi vida," she said against my lips.

I held her close to me "Te amo mucho mucho mucho mi corazón," I said against her lips.

"Now go," she said smacking my ass.

I chuckled "Te amo y/n."

"Te amo Luis," she said as I left the bedroom.

Y/N's POV

I head downstairs after Luis left and find Mamá in the kitchen getting things ready for dinner for us girls. Gina, Rachel and Esmeralda were coming over later for a girls night.

"Mamá can I help?" I asked.

She looks up and smiled "Of course y/n," she said.

"What are we making?" I asked coming beside Mamá at the kitchen island.

"Tripleta," she said.

"Ooo," I said "What is that?"

"It is a sandwich. With three meats. Grilled steak, lechón pork and ham. Which is nestled into a fresh loaf of bread," she gestures to the loafs of bread in front of her. "And it's crowned with fries, ketchup, mayonnaise and cheese and array of vegetables," she said pointing to vegetables ready to be cut up "Mind cutting the vegetables?"

"Not at all," I smiled as we stood side by side as she prepared the meat.

"Y/N?" said Mamá after a few minutes of silence.

"Yes Mamá?" I said.

"Thank you for loving Luis," she said.

"Mamá I have told you I always will. He is my penguin," I said.

She smiled "And you are his," she said "I am so happy to have you join our family next year."

"And I am so happy to be joining your family," I said with a soft smile. She kissed my cheek "So what are we doing for girls night?"

She laughed lightly "I figured we could watch Selena and Steel Magnolias," she said.

"I love those movies," I said.

"I know. Luis. Told me," said Mamá "They're a few of my favorite movies too."

I smiled softly "We have a lot in common Mamá," I said.

"We do," she said.

Later that night.....

I am laying on the bed after girls night was over. Pops had returned home from the game a while ago. Luis was out with his friends celebrating his birthday. So I came upstairs and am currently reading when I hear the front door open and close. Once I heard footsteps coming up the stairs I knew Luis was back home.

The door opened and Luis looked at me laying there.

"Hey," I said softly.

"Hey," he slurred slightly.

"Must've had fun," I said as I got up and helped him to the bed.

"I did," he said as I sat him on the bed "God your beautiful."

"Thank you Amor," I said kneeling and untying his boots.

"I missed you," he said.

"I missed you too," I said taking his boots off before I helped him off with his jersey and t-shirt "Stand up," He stood and I unbuckled his belt and unzipped his jeans before taking them off his hips "Go ahead and lay down," he did and I took off his jeans "Now let's go get your contacts out," I offered my hand to him.

"I can make it to the bathroom," he said "Just be here when I get back. I wanna cuddle you."

Damian's POV

I stumbled slightly to the bathroom. I peed before taking out my contacts.

Y/N laid on the bed waiting for me as I came back out of the bathroom.

"You okay?" she asked as I walked to her and the bed.

"Yeah. Just a bit buzzed," I said falling to the bed "And don't worry we Übered home."

She shook her head as I laid my head onto her chest as she wrapped her arms around me "Good," she said as she kiss the top of my head as I wrapped my arm around her. Snuggling my face into her chest. I listen to her heart beat. She slowly rakes her fingers through my hair massaging my head at the same time. I sighed content and happy as I wrapped my arms completely around her "I love you Luis."

"I love you y/n," I murmured as y/n shut off the light bathing the room in only the silver moon.

"Dulces sueños mi amor," said y/n.

"Mm. Dulces sueños mi mundo," I said. (Mm. Sweet dreams my world) I buried my face into her chest breathing deeply and smelling the lilac body wash she must've used earlier. I sighed again as she continued to run her fingers through my hair as she wrapped her free arm around me. It was definitely a change as I was normally the one holding and snuggling her and trust me I wouldn't change that but this was nice and not just because my face was buried into her chest. I don't know when I fell into slumber but....

The next morning....

I woke up with a serious hangover but I find y/n missing.

"Y/N?" I called out.

"On the nightstand," said y/n poking her head from the bathroom.

I looked over at my nightstand and there is a glass of water and aspirin.

"Thank you," I said.

"No problem Babe," she said coming out in shorts and a t-shirt "You rest," she came over and kissed my forehead "I'm going with Mamá, Rachel, Lorenzo and Esme to the zoo."

"Can't I come?" I asked.

She sat on the edge of the bed beside me "Are you really up for it?" she asked placing a hand on my chest. I reached out and touched her hip.

"I'm willing to try. Get to be with my girl," I said "Like I said last night I missed you."

She leaned forward and kissed my cheek "Baby you were with your buddies," she said.

"And I still missed you," I said.

She kissed my forehead "Then take the aspirin and get dressed. We are leaving shortly," she said.

The Bronx Zoo...

I was lucky to feel better when we arrived at the zoo and started in the Sea Bird Aviary. Y/N was just as excited as Esmeralda to see the penguins.

"Babe look," she said as I was pushing Esmeralda in the stroller as she pointed to two penguins snuggled together "Us in penguin form ."

I chuckled and kissed the side of her head "I know," I said.

"Feeling a bit better," she asked and I nodded "Good."

Y/N moved to Esmeralda and knelt beside the stroller "Esme do you see the penguins? Aren't they pretty?" she asked.

I moved around and took a picture of the two of them watching the penguins as they dove into the water. Mamá, Lorenzo and Rachel watched them watching the penguins.

"Pash!" said Esmeralda.

"Yeah the penguin made a splash," said y/n with a smile.

"PASH! E AH! PASH!" she squeaks.

Y/N smiled "Yes they make lots of splashes," she said.

"Shall we move on?" I asked.

We nod "Where to?" asked Mamá .

"Mine as well follow the map," said Rachel "And see the flamingos."

"Flamingos?" asked y/n "They have them here?"

I nodded "Yeah. But they're indoors come winter for obvious reasons," I said as I pushed the stroller with one hand and have my arm wrapped around y/n's waist.

"Oh they're so pretty," she said as we made our way over to the exhibit "Do they have sloths here?" she asked as we watched the flamingos preen and stand there.

"Children's zoo," said Mamá.

"Yes. We can see them," I laughed rubbing y/n's back.

"Fantastic!" she smiled as Mamá smiled.

"One of your favorite animals?" asked Mamá.

Y/N nodded "Them. As well as red pandas, tigers, lions, otters and sea lions," she explained "Well at least at the zoo."

"Well all but red pandas and otters are here," I said and y/n pouts "Babe," I laughed lightly kissing her lips "I'm sorry."

"It's okay. Makes me sad but I think I will be okay. As long as I can see the sloth."

I laughed "I promise. You will see the sloth."

I have never seen someone light up the way y/n did upon seeing the sloth. I couldn't help but take a few pictures.

"Oh look how cute!" she said as she held Esmeralda who was just as excited even though I think she was feeding off of y/n's energy.

"You are," I said next to her.

"I'm talking about the sloth," she said giggling as she glanced at me.

I smiled as I kiss the side of her head "I know and I am talking about you," I said.

The zoo was fun and now y/n and I were heading to the Jellyroll concert at MSG. My buddy was playing drums for the opening act. And y/n was excited as this was the first time she was in MSG.

She let out an audible sob and I looked at her.

"Corazón are you okay?" I asked.

She nods "It's just. My Dad walked these floors when he came with the booster club for the Sabres. I just, I am walking where he walked and he talked about MSG so highly," she said as she stopped and leaned against a wall.

I wrapped her in a hug and let her sob into my chest. She held me close as she sobs.

"Baby," I said softly as I kissed the top of her head. Thankfully we were here before the general public so I knew we could take our time standing here without being bowled over as people head to their seats "It's okay."

"I know," she sniffed "It's just a lot of emotions," she pulled back from me and I wipe away her tears.

"Corazón I get it," I said holding her face as I kissed her lips "You can let it out."

She held onto my wrists and smiled softly "Te amo mi vida y mi corazón," she said.

"Te amo mucho mi corazón hermoso," I said as she leaned up and kissed my lips "Now come on we have backstage passes."

She giggled "Something I never thought would happen is being able to go backstage at concerts," she laughed as I drape an arm around her shoulders. Kissing the top of her head.

"Babe. I am going to show you the world," I said as she grins up at me.

"You already have," she said "And you continue to do so."

"Forever," I said as we flashed our backstage passes to security and they allowed y/n and I past the proverbial velvet rope to backstage.

Like backstage on Monday nights the backstage area is a buzz with excitement and palpable nerves. We ran into my buddy and I introduced him to y/n and they hit it off right away. He even showed y/n how to play drums and I now have a cute video of y/n playing drums before turning one of the drum sticks into a flying projectile and narrowly missing the stage manager.

"Oops," said y/n "Sorry."

The stage manager laughed "Hey it's not to bad," he said handing her the stick back "I have had some lose these and it's hit me in the head."

Y/N smiled before handing my buddy the sticks back "I think these are safer in your hands," she said as she and I laughed.

The concert was fun and now we had to fly early tomorrow morning to head to Columbus, Georgia for a house show. This weekend was a non stop whirlwind.
