Team rwby and goodwitch rode back to vale, basking in there victory. They landed in the city as the sun began to rise, each one happy and smiling. They had just taken down two birds with one stone, figuritvily of course. News castors swarmed them, asking what had happened.

News castor: Ms rose! Ms rose! Do you know the fate of mr Roman torchwick?

Ruby smiled, a innocent smile, one that would soon be changed.

Ruby: well we battled Roman, but w-

Ruby was interrupted by Weiss's elbowing her partner and taking her aside. Nodding to yang, who took that as her que to take the lead. Weiss took ruby away from the crowd, and began her plans.

Weiss: Ruby, what were you going to tell the news people?

Ruby looked up at her partner, at first confused, but answered none the less

Ruby: well I was gonna tell them that we steered the train into the mountain, and that Roman probably esc-

Ruby was cut off by weiss slapping her across the face, Ruby's eyes welled up with tears as Weiss began to lecture her

Weiss: ruby you idiot! No one else was there but us, so we can say whatever we want. We didn't steer the train into the mountain, and Roman didn't escape. Roman steered the train, and Roman went down with the train.

Ruby stood in protest

Ruby: that's not right!

Weiss laughed

Weiss: god help and forgive me, ruby I wanna build something that's gonna outlive me. And nothing lives longer then legacy and legend. We can twist the story to make us seem like great heroes, and do you wanna know the best part?

Weiss got real close to ruby

Weiss: No one can stop us, so are you with me? Or against me?

Ruby: I could tell them what really happened, and your legacy would die.

Weiss stepped away from ruby

Weiss: could you? I have the votes, I have our teammates. Let's just say, ruby rose could go from an idol  to a traitor with a few words.

Ruby looked shocked at her partners words

Ruby: Yang wouldn't!

Weiss smiled

Weiss: Yang would, and Yang is. No are you with me?

Weiss exstened her hand down to ruby

Weiss: or against me?

Ruby took Weiss's hand as they returned to the crown, listening in to yang as she talked to the reporter.

Yang: Roman saw us on the train and drove it into the mountain, we were barley about to get out before it crashed.

Another castor came up to yang

Castor: Ms xiao long! Do you know if Roman survived?

Yang looked back at weiss, who nodded.

Yang: we are almost positive that he didn't survive. Without an aura or semblance, he's nothing more than a man, and no man can survive that.

Yang was right, the train did crash into the mountain. And she was right, no man could have survived that crash. But, as we know, there was another person on that train.

Nightmare threw the rubble of his back, and took his tentacles off Roman and neo. Roman limped over to the side of the mountain, and slumped onto the ground, cradling a severely injured neo in his lap.

Roman: Wh- what are we gonna do here chief?

Nightmare looked back at Roman, as he freed his tentacles from under some rubble.

Nightmare: We have to get back to Salem, and away from the crash. Hunstmen will be here soon.

Roman coughed up some blood

Roman: Are you crazy! I can barley walk, I've got scrap metal in both my legs! Neo is clinging onto life, and you don't look to good either!

Nightmare hated it, but Roman was right. Nightmare looked down at himself in his reflection, his bright glowing eye was glowing dim. Nightmare was about to say something, but before he could a glowing blue spear lands right next to him. He jumps back and looks towards where it was thrown, and he sees a group of huntsman moving towards him.

Nightmare: we need to go!

Nightmare swooped down and grabbed neo, and helps Roman up as they begin to run down the mountain side. But They dont make it far, before another spear strikes Roman right in the head. Roman falls to the ground, and nightmare falls with him.

Huntsman1: I hit one!

Nightmare quickly puts his hand to romans neck and checks for a pulse, he finds one, but it's very faint. Nightmare scowled, he wasent about to let Roman die. Rain begins to fall in the mountain side as nightmare remember something he saw before. But not as Nightmare

Pyyhra is seen standing in the forest with one Jaune arc, and she reaches out and touched his forehead, her own aura going onto him. Unlocking his aura.

Nightmare focused on his aura, as he began to glow a dark purple, his aura transferred over to Roman, as his pulse stabilized. Nightmare stood to face the huntsman, as lighting struck illuminating the solutes of the huntsman.

Huntsman2: nice shot undyne!

The newly named undyne smiled in pride, showing she was the one who threw the spear that hit Roman.

Undyne: Well, it was easy! No-

She was cut off by nightmare slamming her to the side with his tentacles, and grabbing a second huntsman with the other tentacles.

Huntsman2: what the-

He was also thrown into the wall, the third and fourth huntsman both pulled out guns and aimed them at nightmare, who grabbed neo and the dying Roman. Using all the negativity he had just created, and warping them back to Salem. Undyne day up from floor

Undyne: contact ozpin, tell him things just got a lot more complicated.

Nightmare appeared at the base of Salem's throne, much to the surprise of the queen and cinder, who were in the room. Neo fell to the floor, and Roman was caught by nightmare, his blood flowing from his head down onto the floor.

Salem: Cinder, get hazel and tell him to come to throne room.

Cinder nodded and ran out of the room

Salem: report?

Nightmare: they steered the train into the mountain side, I was able to save Roman and neo from the crash. But we were ambushed by huntsman.

Nightmare pointed to Roman in his arms as hazel ran in, taking the dying Roman and injured Neo away.

Salem: well nightmare, you have proven your loyalty. It's time for me to tell you about my, plan, for beacon academy.

Salem turns toward a hologram of the school

Salem: Now nightmare, let me tell you about the fall.
