Chapter 3

Y/N's POV

It's been a while since we left for England. (lol, idk how long it took and I don't want to assume soooo.....) I expected Washington has already written us a few letters, just to aid us on our mission. I wonder if the first letter we sent has reached the palace by now.....

I stepped outside, the blue sea was everywhere. Waves crashed along the side of the boat, flowing up and down as we rocked back and forth.

"We're almost there." A voice called behind me, as I slowly turned to see who it was.

"Laf, it's going to be hard for you to hide your accent huh? Are you sure you can do it?" I asked, looking the Frenchman in the eyes.

"Of course." He said, hiding his accent so well I didn't even think he was talking.

"Do you think the letter reached land yet?" I asked, curious at what he thought.

"I would assume it did." He started. "The harbor is just over there." He continued, pointing to land not too far off in the distance.

"We've made it! Now, we work out the plan..." I said, hugging Laf.

"LAND HO!" We yelled in unison as everyone else came outside to greet us.

"Land Ho, indeed. Land Ho, indeed." John said with a smile.

"I bet you guys 20 bucks (idk what currency was used because I'm not smart, so we'll call money bucks) that the king will blush at least once when he sees Y/N tonight." Herc announced giddily.

"Ha! If Y/N is gunna look as great as you say, I might just snatch her up before the king gets a chance~" Alex returned, making the others seem a bit jealous.

"Yeah, yeah. Let's just focus on the task at hand. Getting those plans." I said, pushing past the boys to get ready to leave the boat. I've been seasick since the first day we boarded.

King George III's POV (SENPAI :333 aufbenuxnsndifkdnducinssicknd) <sorry bout that, I got excited...

"And that is why I believe that you should donate more money to the less fortunate citizens of England." A young man said. He's been talking about the same thing for three hours straight.

"Of course, I'll put your suggestion into consideration. I have more business to attend to. Now.... shoo." I responded, half asleep.

"Consideration? Don't you care about your people? Don't you want them to worship and respect you? Don't you-"

"I SAID SHOO!" I repeated louder. The man grew quite scared as he ran out of my throne room. "And another idea for me to put in the trash barrel." I said, upset that I had wasted another day listening to bad ideas.

"Sire, it's time for you to prepare for the ball tonight. Also, you've received a letter. It's from the General, General Washington of the American army." My head announcer said to me, after he bowed several times.

"Give it to me." I commanded, not turning my head to look at him.

"O-of course sire." He stuttered, running off to retrieve the letter. "This better not be like any of those stupid treaties or whatever. I'm fighting this war until I win. No matter what." ( :3 sure about that Georgie?)

He returned with a letter in hand, and he gave it to me. I harshly grabbed it as he stepped away in fear. I then proceeded to slouch on my throne as I carefully read through the letter.

My 'king', King George III,

Good day sir, I have no intention of negotiating a peace between our nations, as I know you will never agree to set America free.

I come to ask that you do not hurt one of my fellow friends, and one of your many subjects, Miss Y/N L/N. She is quite important to me and our country, and she has personally asked me if she could visit England.

I messaged one of your many advisors and he had agreed to allow her and her comrades to attend the ball being held at your palace on an evening to come. I request that you do not hurt her, as she has no intention of spying on you or England in that matter. She will be accompanied by four gentleman.

John Laurens, her half brother. Hercules Mulligan, her closest friend. Alexander Hamilton, her closest advisor. Marquis de Lafayette, a Frenchman that is quite dear to her. None of them have any intention of treason, and I would kindly ask if you would refrain from approaching her. She is quite embarrassing when it comes to manners and I feel you may be insulted by her 'graciousness.'

Thank you for your time,
General Washington

(I don't know how to write letters, also... sorry for basically trash talking all of you)

((Btw, the guys aren't related to you in that way, it's just a cover up))

Hmm... interesting. He seems to think that a woman, A WOMAN, would actually be able to spy on and steal from the British. If she did try to do anything if the sorts, she'd be hanged immediately.

Well, I best be off to prepare for the ball. I'm DYING to meet this, Y/N L/N. She sounds like a lovely woman. ;) :333
