Chapter 11

-_- I thought you guys left...

Y/N's POV
^ha you thought I was going to be nice? This chapter is about what happens when you're gone. Gotta wait for the next one to see what happened to continue last chapter. It's ok, I know that I'm the worst :3

I quickly left, knowing that we couldn't stall any longer. I wasn't sure exactly where I was going, but all I knew was that I couldn't get caught.

I walked down many halls and turned around several corners, I opened door after door, but I couldn't find anything. I thankfully didn't run into anyone in the castle. They must have been busy with something else.

As I headed down another corridor, I bumped into a young woman in a maid's uniform.

"Oh my goodness! I'm quite sorry your majesty!" She yelped as I chucked at her.

"There's no king here, just a woman who is quite lost." I answered as I held out my hand to help her off the ground.

"Oh! You must be Miss Y/N, am I correct? You know, the king always talks about you whenever I pass him in the halls. Always muttering about the future and such. Am I able to guide you back to the dining hall?" She said with a large smile. It looked so real, yet I could sense that it was fake. She wasn't truly happy here, I bet no one is.

"Actually, no. I'm looking for the kings battle plans, you see he-" "You're a spy, aren't you?" She cut me off.

'Sh*t...'

"Well, uhm.... I-" "You actually expect me to lead you to the battle plans in which England will be able to defeat your troops? Is that why you're here? Because if so, I'd be glad to lead the way."

"N-no I- wait what? Why would you-" "My sister... she was executed by the king. I-I've hater that bastard ever since..." She innocently peeped. I guess not everyone has to love the king.

"I-I'm so sorry. That bastard is going to get what's coming to him though. Once we defeat him, we'll win the war and I'll come back for you and all of your friends, ok?" I said as her face brightened up. "You'd do that?" She asked as I nodded my head. She then grabbed my hand and directed me to a door not too far away.

"This is it. Do be quick, I'm afraid someone will catch you if you're in there too long. You'll keep your promise, right?" She said, turning towards me.

"I always do." I said, as she walked off in a hurry. I then quietly slipped through the door and saw a desks with papers all over it. I immediately found all of the plans, old and new, and I grabbed them. But where to put them? The only place I could. Oh god...

Walking off, I felt my face grow red. Maybe me taking the papers was a mistake. I guess I should have bright Hercules with me.

I had assumed Alex was probably taking about something stupid, because he and everyone else needed to distract the king, but the room was dead silent as I entered. Everyone was still in the spot I had left them in, and I sensed that there was something off about the mood.

"Oh Y/N, I see you've finished. We're leaving." Lafayette said, grabbing my hand as he started dragging me through the doors. Alex, John, and Hercules followed, Alex and John's faces red from embarrassment as they glanced at each other. What happened when I was gone?

I could hear the king shout something, but by then I managed to end up in Lafayette's arms, halfway down the stairs to the castle. Instead of heading back to the cottage, we were at the port.

Samuel was laying against the side, before his eyes grew wide.

"What are you all doing here? Aren't you-" "Samuel hurry up, let's go." Everyone said as he grew tense. "I'm afraid I can't let you leave." He said, blocking us from being able to leave. That bastard lied to us.

"DAMMIT SAMUEL!" I screamed, still in Laf's arms.

The troops that had followed us were catching up, so I jumped out of Lafayette's embrace and punched Seabury in the face, knocking him out cold.

I then threw his unconscious body on the dock and we managed to somehow set sail. None of us knew what we were doing, but Lafayette's and Alex had more experience on a boat before, so they had a better idea than us.

"Guys, what the hell happened when I was gone?" I asked as they all began to panic, muttering to themselves and stressfully pacing on the boat.

"Did you get it?" They asked, focusing on me.

"Yes, now tell me what happened!" I demanded, confused as to what had just happened.

"It's a long story." John answered as I crossed my arms.

"There's nothing to do on this boat. So tell away." I replied, hoping they wouldn't lie to me.

They glanced at each other, John bit his lip. "Fine, but it's... it's probably not what you'd expect..."

I'm the worst, I know. I'm also too lazy to edit this, so if it's confusing, well I'm tired and too lazy to actually do sh*t. Have fun waiting to know what happened!!!
