Hello, I'm Victoria Kaer or Tori I'm a self-published author and a graphic designer. I've been writing seriously since 2009. I began the first book of my Merlin's Chosen series after I was laid off from my job and couldn't find another. Since then I've written and published twelve books under two author names. I began my graphic design journey right around when I joined Wattpad in 2012. With help from a friend who is a graphic designer by trade and from other designers here, I learned a lot so I could create covers for my own works and not have to depend on others for the design work.

I'm a lot older than most of the members of Wattpad, I'm the mother of a child who is in college but don't let my age fool you, I may be old chronologically, but I'm young at heart and not your typical adult. I don't mind talking about my age, I've been through a lot in my life and if I can help others through my experiences then I will. I don't know everything and never will, but I enjoy learning from others.

As it is with most authors I'm a little insane and my ideas come from some wacky places. I am not an outliner, I tend to fly by the seat of my pants and often have no idea where a story is headed or where it will end up when I make it to the end. I love designing and helping others find the perfect cover or graphic for their work. I'm making an attempt at going professional with my cover designs. So far I've created covers for two other authors for their published works and I'm currently helping one of them with graphics, like a logo, for a charity bike ride she's planning to promote the launch of the last book in her Sharing Strength series, which deals with different forms of PTSD.

My graphic inspiration often comes from things I see around me or random images I find. You can often find my trolling Pinterest or the stock site I belong to looking for images that catch my eye and spark and idea.
