"I want to meet team Voltron and pilot a lion," Ophelia says as she coughs a little.

Nova nods solemnly. "Alright." She bends over and kisses her sister's head. Ophelia smiles and falls asleep. Nova gently brushes her sister's bangs before exiting the room, where her brother Orion was playing Overwatch on Nova's laptop.

"Orion," Nova says. "It's time to go home."

"Just a sec," he replies as he wins the match. He then closes the laptop and stands up. "How's Ophelia?"

Nova chokes back a sob. "Better. I'm just worried.... I want to make her happy, but I don't know how to apply for Make A Wish."

"We could google it," Orion suggests.

Nova smiles weakly. "We could."

"Miss Galexia?"

Nova turns to see Kai Night, the nurse who had been helping Ophelia. "Yes?" She says.

"I couldn't help but overhear your conversation," he confesses. "You mentioned Make A Wish?"

"We didn't get in," Nova confesses. "And I don't want to break Ophelia's heart."

"What was her wish?"

Nova smiles sadly. "To meet the Paladins of Voltron and ride a lion."

"I can arrange that," Kai replies as he pushes his glasses up.

"WHAT?!?!?!" Orion screams. "HOW?!?!!"

Nova cringed at Orion's voice. "Orion, inside voice."

Orion grumbled but complied. Nova smiles and turns back to Kai, who begins to speak.

"As it so happens, one of my half-sisters recently became a professional cosplayer, and she specializes in Voltron cosplays. I could ask her and her friends to cosplay as the paladins for Ophelia, if you want. And my brother Asa works in VR, and he could modify-"

Nova smiles. "I appreciate it, but unfortunately, I don't have the money to pay them..."

Kai shakes his head. "You don't understand. My sister will do it for free if sick children are involved. The other day another child wanted to see Luke Skywalker, and my sister showed up as Luke Skywalker."

"You're kidding, right?" Orion says.

"Nope. And she was pretty convincing, too.  The poor parents had a heart attack, wondering if Luke Skywalker walked off the movie and into real life."

"That's impressive," Nova whispers.

"I'm serious," Kai replies. "Look, I'll show you." He pulls his phone out and dials someone, placing the phone on speaker. "Hey Isa," he says.

"Yes Kai?" A feminine voice replied.

"There is a young girl with cancer who wants to meet the Voltron paladins. I was wonder-"

"I'll do it," Isa replies. "Wait, which Voltron are we talking about? GoLion? 80's? The horrific vehicle one? The one that shall not be named? The one that redeemed the series?"

Before Kai could ask Nova which Voltron Ophelia watched, Orion says, "Legendary Defender."

"Alright! Gotta call my friends. Later Kai!"

With that, the phone call ended. Nova blinks as Kai pockets his phone. "We didn't set a date," Nova says.

"I'll text her the date," Kai says. "I got to figure out a way to get Asa to help. Not that he's a jerk, it's just that he has three kids under the age of seven and he's a single dad that has a lot of work."

"Oh," Nova replies. "Thank you, Kai."

Kai smiles as he waves goodbye. "No worries."

------------------

Two weeks later, Nova and Orion were at the hospital, ready to pick up Ophelia to meet the cosplayers. They walk into her room, where Ophelia smiles upon seeing them.

"Nova! Orion!"

Nova smiles as she sits on Ophelia's bed. "Hey little one."

Ophelia practically beams, making Nova wonder why their parents could abandon them if Ophelia was always this cheerful.

Oh right. Her cancer.

Nova opens her mouth to say something, but there was a knock on the door, cutting her from her thoughts. She turns to the door and says, "Come in."

The door opened, and Nova swears that her mouth fell on the floor.

A woman walked in, and Nova swears that (despite the skin tone being lighter) Allura had walked out of the tv and into real life. Glancing at her siblings, she could tell that they were thinking the same thing.

The Allura cosplayer walked over to Ophelia's bed. "My Altean spy Kai tells me that we have a Galra fighter here," she says, perfectly mimicking Allura's voice.

"I am!" Ophelia says proudly.

The woman laughs and offers her hand. "Well then, we have a special mission just for you."

Kai enters the room and helps Ophelia into the wheelchair. The cosplayer walks over to Nova and winks, causing Nova to blush. "I am Princess Allura of Altea," she says before whispering, "but you may call me Isa."

"A-Alright," Nova says.

"Now, to fight the Galra!" Isa says, and Nova follows her out of the room, where Kai begins to push Ophelia. As they walk, Isa begins to talking to Ophelia when Orion sneaks up on Nova and says, "Is that Kai's sister?"

"I guess so," Nova replies.

"She should be an actress," he mumbles. "She could make way more money."

"Agreed," Nova replies.

They eventually make it out of the hospital, where a black limo was. "To ensure our mission was successful, we must take this vehicle that Pidge modified to defend us from the Galra!" Allura says.

You have got to be kidding me, Nova thinks.

--------------------

Eventually, they make it to Nightshade Gaming, a VR company that was currently hot on the market. Nova gapes when she looks at it.

"Wow....."

"Impressive, isn't it?" Isa says as she stands near Nova. "I'm glad that Asa allowed us to come."

"Me too," Nova replies as the five of them enter. They head to the labs, where Nova sees cosplayers representing Keith, Shiro, Lance, Hunk, Pidge, and Coran, with a Slav plushie off to the side. The five of them start talking to Ophelia and Orion while Kai checks Ophelia's vitals. Isa goes over and starts acting like a mission is happening.

They're really good, Nova thinks to herself.

She must have spaced out, because she blinks and the only person with her is Isa. She watches as Isa motions for her to follow and follows her to a room with lots of TVs and consoles.

"Whoa...."

"Let's sit down," Isa suggests as she motions her to the couch. "I promise my brothers won't hurt Ophelia and that my friends won't kidnap Orion."

"A-Alright," Nova says. As soon as she does, Isa begins to speak, but this time with a Venezuelan accent.

"Thank you for allowing us to do this," Isa begins. "My friends and I are practicing for a convention, and Asa needed beta-testers for his Voltron game."

"Wait, they're making a Voltron game?" Nova asks, bewildered.

"Yep," Isa replies. "No one really knows about it yet, so I wouldn't recommend yelling that unless you want Dreamworks at your front door."

"I won't," Nova replies.

Isa beams. "Thank you."

"So... You cosplay?" Nova asks.

"Yep! When I'm not a voice actor, that is."

"Is there anything you can't do?" Nova says jokingly.

Isa holds her hands out and uses them to help her count. "Medicine, cooking, calculus, drawing, hacking, programming, public speaking, engineering, walk in high heels, and to stop teasing my friends."

Nova blinks. "Okay...."

"I'm being honest," Isa laughs. "Oh, and to stop reminding my friends that I'd be their wing woman."

Nova can't help but laugh at that. The two women fall into casual conversation, and Nova found herself crushing on Isa.

"What are they doing?" Nova asks as she points to her brother.

Isa looks over. "He challenged Link/Keith to a sword fight because Link bragged that he was good at it. Don't worry, he won't hurt him."

Nova smiles. "Thank you for doing this."

Isa waves her hand. "Don't worry about it. We love helping out sick children, and it seems that Ophelia is having a blast."

"She is," Nova says.

The Coran cosplayer shouts for Isa, and Isa sighs. "That's my cue..." With that, she gets up and walks over, leaving Nova by herself.

A man that looked a lot like Kai comes over. "Would you like to try the Voltron game? I want adult input..."

"Of course!" Nova yells excitedly. The man walks her to one of the consoles and helps her attach the VR machine, allowing her to play the game. Nova played it until the demo ended, at which point they had to leave. It wasn't until they were in the limo near the hospital that Nova realized something.

She never got Isa's number.

-----------------

"Nova? There's someone at the door."

Nova looks up from her laptop to see Ophelia standing there timidly. She smiles and gets up. "I'll get it."

Ophelia managed to recover, thanks to funding from another of Kai's half-siblings (making Nova wonder how many siblings Kai had). She came home with Kai's number, and while Nova did text him, she didn't want to say, "Hey, can I get your sister's number because she was hot?"

That would have been awkward.

Nova opens the door, and hears a gasp. "Nova?"

"Isa?!?"

Isa stands there in a blue shirt and black pants, holding several bags. Her light blonde hair was pulled back, allowing you to see how wide her blue eyes were.

"I... Didn't know you lived here," Isa admits.

"I-I do," Nova stammers.

"Isa!"

Orion runs out and hugs Isa. "I'm so sorry that I lost your number!"

..... Say what now?

Isa relaxes and starts to laugh. "That's okay, Orion. At least I know why Nova was avoiding me."

"You.... Got her phone number?" Nova asks Orion.

Orion looks scared. "I'm sorry! I got her number so that you could text her and I misplaced it-"

Nova smiles. "Hey, we all make mistakes." She looks at Isa. "May I ask what you are doing here?"

"My friend Ike lives next door to you. He was the Shiro cosplayer, and his sister Mist was the Pidge cosplayer. I brought the Voltron game and console to play with them, but they're with Marth, the Lance cosplayer; Roy, the Coran cosplayer; and my brother Valerian, who made our costumes. I was going to ask if I could leave these here, but instead... Can I come in?"

Nova practically beams. "Of course!"

After several hours of playing the Voltron game, Orion finally found Isa's number.

He found it on the back of a doodle that Ophelia made.

Reina: This was so much fun to write.

Also, an Ophelia lives, because normally Ophelia dies. (Not counting the FE one)

Orion and Ophelia were named after stuff in space, because they are both moons apparently. In keeping with the space names, I made their (and Nova's last name) Galexia.

Also, there is no Voltron video game, but I was imagining the HTC Vive and you use the controllers the same way they do in the show. I got sad because I actually want this game now.
