Areum's POV

"Wait, you're not mad?" I asked, dumbfounded by the way he reacted. "Oh, of course not. You guys are soulmates, I don't control who gets to be soulmates or not," His manager stated with a small laugh.

I and Jungkook looked at each other and smiled. We high fived and turned our attention to his manager again.

"I'll ask you guys now," He turned serious again which made me a bit nervous for what else he has to say. "When do you guys want to release the statement that you guys are soulmates?" He asked us and Jungkook and I looked at each other.

"They can release the statement later, so we won't have anymore issues," Jungkook explained to me and I agreed.

"We can release it later," Jungkook smiled at his manager who gladly smiled back. "Now, explain why you guys aren't together," His manager raised his right eyebrow at the both of us.

"Well, we just wanted to be friends because having a idol-fan relationship is very hard," I explained for both me and Jungkook. Jungkook nodded, at which the manager said, "Oh," and nodded. 

After a few more talks later, we were dismissed. As we started walking out, hand in hand together, I was reminded of something. I stopped on my tracks and turned towards the manager and asked, "Sir, would it be fine if let my best friend meet BTS?" The Manager rubbed his chin and said, "She wouldn't cause any scandals or do anything to degrade the rep of BTS, right?"  I reassuringly smiled and exclaimed, "No, she isn't the type to do that, Sir!" 

Their manager smiled, and chirped, "Then it's okay, bring them over one time~" 

I was happy that the manager agreed to let Hana meet BTS. Jungkook and I bid the manager a goodbye, and exit the room.

"Our practice starts again in twenty minutes, want to go to the practice room now?" Jungkook said after looking at the clock that was on his phone. 

I nodded and we went to the practice room.

We were now in front of the practice room and heard a few laughs, mostly from J-hope and Jimin. We looked at each other and chuckled at their chaos.

"Hey, guys!" Jungkook exclaimed when he opened the door of the practice room. They looked at us and ran to us. "How was it?!" Taehyung asked, worried if we got scolded.

"Nothing bad... They're going to release a statement that we are soulmates later and also would it be fine if my friend meets y'all?", I answered and went to sit at the seat that I sat on earlier. All of them didn't hesitate to answer and agreed instantly.

"What if we all play a game before we practice again," Jimin suggested.

"Sure, what kind of game?" Namjoon asked, curious about what he has in mind.

"It's a game called jinx. We are going to be stating the numbers by order. But we don't know who will say the next number next. If two people say it at the same time, both of them are out," Jimin explained the rules.

We agreed to play the game and gathered around in a little circle in the middle of the practice room. I was next to Jungkook and Suga.

"Okay, start now!" Jin exclaimed and we all looked at each other, not wanting to lose the game.

"One!" J-hope yelled and sighed in relief.

"Two!" Namjoon said and smiled.

"Three!" I and Kookie said at the same time and glared at each other.

They laughed at Jungkook and me. I playfully hit Jungkook on his left shoulder and backed up so I could get out of the circle. Jungkook followed my actions and went beside me and placed his head on my shoulder. I felt heat coming up to my cheeks.

Jungkook's POV

I know I'm being extra clingy to her, but I just want her to feel the same way about me. I want to win her heart. I don't want us to be the soulmates who aren't even together. I want to protect her. I want to protect the ones I love.
