"Um...actually Y/n...I love you!"

Y/n's eyes grew wide in shock. She wasn't expecting him to confess.

"Are you for real?" She asked not believing him.

"Of course yes. I love you for a very long time."

Hearing that Y/n stayed silent for a moment.

"Look, Chan...I really understand your feelings but I see you as nothing but a friend. I...never liked you in that way."

Chanyeol stayed silent for a good while then chuckled.

"I understand. It's my fault for not expressing my emotions through my actions and words. So it's fine if you see me as a friend. At least we still can stay as friends, right?"

"Of course! We can still be friends!" She said smiling.

"That's great then...I've to go now. Mom asked to me go home early. So...see you next time!"

He said as he waved at her as she waved back.

Thank you for being such an understanding friend Chan. Hope you find your true love soon. She thought as she went inside.

The next Y/n couldn't find Chanyeol anywhere and she knows why.

Of course, who would come to school after getting rejected by their crush?

She sighed as she thought. Jungkook heard her thoughts too as he was entering. He entered the class as he saw her looking sad. He walked to where she was sitting and sat beside her.

"What happened Y/n?" He asked showing concern.

"I think Chan is sad," she said pouting sadly.

"Why?" He asked confusingly.

Y/n explained to him about yesterday's situation.

"Poor Chan, he must've felt so hurt. I mean, he is kind of sensitive and there's no other reason for him to not show up."

"Don't worry, you did the right thing. It would've been more painful if you keep his proposal hanging without giving a proper answer.

He'll be fine. It's just he needs some time alone. Let him be by himself. When he'll feel better, he'll come and eventually will say hi to you," he said patting her shoulder gently.

"I hope so too. Thank you for your soothing words. I'm feeling much better now," she said smiling.

"I'm glad to know that my words helped you feel better," he said smiling back.

Soon class teacher entered as you all bowed to her.

"Students today we've two transferred students with us. I want you guys to welcome them. Please come in!"

She called them as she looked at the classroom entrance. A second later one by one by one two girls entered.

"Please introduce yourselves," she said smiling.

"Hello, I'm Jisoo. Nice to meet you," she said bowing.

"Hello everyone, I'm Rosé. It's nice to see you all. Hope we can get along," she said smiling as she bowed.

"Okay so Jisoo you can sit beside Y/n and Rosé, you can sit on the bench beside Y/n's," The teacher commanded.

They nodded as Y/n stood up but Jungkook spoke.

"But ma'am! I'm sitting beside her!" He says.

"You can sit beside your girlfriend some other times. Not like you'll die or something."

She said sarcastically as everyone started laughing including you.

It's almost like that. I'd die without her.

He pouted and Y/n turned to him asking, "What did you say?!"

"N-Nothing."

He said as he took his bag and sat beside Jimin.

As Jisoo and Rosé were told, Jisoo sat beside Y/n and Rosé took a seat on the bench beside Y/n and Jisoo. In between the class, they talked & eventually became friends due to having the same interest in certain topics.

On lunch break, Jungkook and Jimin approached them as Y/n introduced them to Rosé and Jisoo.

"How about we eat lunch together? In that way we'll get to know each other more," she suggested.

"Yeah, great idea! Wait..." Jimin said and paused. Taehyung, want to have lunch with us?

Yeah sure, wait for me. Taehyung replies.

"Who is Taehyung?" Jisoo asks.

This made Jimin shocked but others confuse as they have no idea what was going on.

"H-How did you hear that?!" Jimin asked really shocked.

"Didn't you just say that out loud?" Jisoo asked confusingly.

"Of course, I didn't! Do you have buttons for eyes or something?!" He said in disbelief.

"Am I the only one who is clueless here? If yes then could you please explain what's going on?" Rosé asked confusingly.

"Don't worry you're not the only one," Y/n replies.

"Yes," Jungkook added, agreeing.

They said staring at Jisoo and Jimin who were having a staring competition for god knows what reason.

Soon after Taehyung came and noticed Jungkook, Y/n and some random girl staring at Jimin and another girl who was having a staring contest.

"If your staring contest is over can we go and eat lunch?" Taehyung asks.

"No!" Jimin and Jisoo replied together getting furious.

"Damn! Chill! What happened?!" Taehyung asks.

"Somehow Jisoo heard my thought!"

"What?!" Jungkook and Y/n both said at the same time.

"Oh! I understand you guys are soulmates but I'm very hungry so we can discuss this later while eating."

He shrugged while Jungkook and Y/n looked at them in shock.

"Is that true?!" Jungkook and Y/n both asked with widened eyes.

"Why are you guys talking in unison?" Jisoo asked in a low tone.

"Uh...even I don't know hehe," Y/n replied scratching her nape.

"How could you be so sure that she's my soulmate?!" Jimin asks getting furious.

"Yeah...How?" Jisoo asks in a low tone.

"Why do you think a stranger whom you just met can hear your thoughts?" Taehyung asked raising his eyebrows.

"You're right though..." He looked at Jisoo. "Um...hello," he said shyly.

"Uh...hi," she replied shyly.

When will we talk like this? He thought pouting sadly.

"Who are you talking about?" She asked tilting her head innocently.

"Okay, I understand you four look good together but can we go and eat now? Or you're planning to get married here as well?" Taehyung asks, trying to control getting pissed off.

"Uh...let's go guys," Jungkook said looking at others.

"Yeah, let's go," Y/n also says.

With that Y/n and Jungkook left.

"You love birds can come too."

Taehyung said as he left too along with Rosé and Jimin looked at Jisoo.

"Let's go?" He asked offering his hand while smiling.

"Let's go," she said as she smiled gladly taking his hand in hers.

They all ate their lunch together in the canteen. They all had a great time.

It's been a week now.

Y/n, Jungkook and Rosé were talking about random stuff while Jimin and Jisoo were chuckling.

Then Y/n noticed Chanyeol entering. She stood up happily as she ran to him and hugged him real tight

"Chan! So happy to see that you're back! I missed you so much! Are you mad at me?" She asked pulling from the hug.

"No, in fact, I'm happy that you rejected me. After all, I should know that not everything is mine."

Y/n smiled cheerfully as she introduced him to Jisoo and Rosé.

A month has passed now.

Y/n & Jungkook have become really good friends. They even have nicknames for each other. What's more interesting is after a few days they found out Chanyeol and Rosé are soulmates too.

Jimin & Jisoo also started dating. Everything has been going great.

Jungkook also introduced Y/n to his mother. It was a really huge opportunity for her as she knows Jungkook's mother is everything to him.

As today was the last day of their exam everyone was really happy and hyped. After giving the exams everyone was leaving. Y/n was packing her stuff.

"Y/n, because of exams we didn't get to spend much time together. So...as the exams are over...why don't we spend our time together tomorrow?" He asks nervously.

"Good idea! I'm in! Where are we going?!" She asks excitedly.

"What about an amusement park?"

"Omo! I love amusement parks!"

"I know, that's why we're going there. So meet me there at noon?" He asks smiling.

"Okay!"

Today is the day when they'll be going out. Y/n is searching for a perfect dress she can wear.

"Why am I so nervous? We're just going there to enjoy."

"But..why does it seem like I'm going on a date?"
