The next day Y/n was getting ready. She tried to look her best.

"Am I looking good enough? Will he like it? Wait...why do I even care? I mean maybe he behaved well because he felt bad bullying me.

He is just sympathizing with me. I can never believe it if he is doing all this for some other reason."

Y/n sighed and went downstairs for breakfast.

"Wow, princess! You're looking really pretty today!" Her mother compliments her.

"Thanks, mom," she said smiling.

She sat on her usual seat. Although she smiled, sadness was clearly visible in her expression. Y/n's mother felt worried so she decided to ask what the matter was.

"Y/n? What happened dear? Is everything okay?"

She asked totally concerned, sitting beside Y/n. Y/n just shook her head.

"Is it about that boy?" She asks.

Y/n didn't reply.

"So it is about him. So what happened? Did you guys have a fight?" She asks.

"No mom!"

"Then what's wrong?"

"I think he is behaving nicely because he is sympathizing with me," she said as she got even more sad.

"I don't know what's going on between you two but I don't think it's what you're thinking it is," she said resting her chin over her palm.

"What do you mean?" She asks, not getting her mother.

"I mean he likes you silly! He is madly in love with you!" She says.

"And how do you know?" She asks, couldn't believe her mother.

"Because your dad was like him too," her mother said smiling.

"Really?" She asked curiously.

"Hm, that's why I'm saying you have a chance."

"But you've never seen him then how are you so sure?" She asked giving her a suspicious look.

"Actually, yesterday I was on the balcony and eventually saw you guys being lovey-dovey. So yeah," she shrugged.

 "We weren't being lovey-dovey, okay? And the other thing is how can he be like dad?" She asked as she took a bite from her food.

"I see the spark in his eyes that I saw in your father's eyes. He recently started acting sweet, right?" She asks.

 "Yeah? But-...never mind. Continue."

"Look, boys are kinda dumb when it comes to confession. Maybe after a long period, he finally realized it? Well, it's good for you that he realized early.

Your dumb dad took too much time. So much so that my parents arranged a marriage for me thinking I don't have any soulmates. When I told him I'm getting married soon, he finally realized and proposed to me," she sighs heavily.

"Woah, dad really was dumb," she said, kind of surprised.

"He is still very dumb," her mother says chuckling.

"By the way mom?"

"Hm?"

"Last night...I heard my soulmate's thoughts. He finally communicated with me."

"Omo really?! Means you have a soulmate! Is it that guy from school?!" She asked curiously.

"No," She sighs. "But the actual thing is if I do have a soulmate then why I wasn't able to communicate back then?" She asks herself. Couldn't figure out the problem.

"It's most probably because you were nervous. It happens don't worry."

"Oh, okay."

While they were talking Y/n's dad came.

"What are you ladies talking about? May I know?"

Y/n & her mom look at her dad and then back at each other. They both started laughing remembering the conversation about her dad they had a while ago, leaving him dumbfounded. After finishing her food she left.

A few minutes later in the corridor, Chanyeol was taking out his books from the locker.

 "That Jungkook is stealing my chance to get close to Y/n. Before he can do anything I've to take my move," he said as he slammed the locker door.

Chanyeol left from there but little did he know someone heard what he said.

"Oh, so this what he is planning? I've to inform Jungkook as soon as possible."

That person also left from there.

Y/n was walking through the hallway. But suddenly she felt a pat on her shoulder. She turned around just to see no one. She was confused so she again turned back and got surprised.

"Omo! Why did you do that?! I got scared!" She said gasping.

"Sorry," It wasn't my intention!" He apologizes.

"It's okay, it wasn't that scary."

She said that with a straight look on her face but soon it turned into a smile. Seeing her smiling Jungkook also started smiling.

"I thought you've got mad at me," he said chuckling.

"I can never be mad at you." How can I be mad at my love?

Jungkook blushed then chuckle.

"No one can be mad at me because I'm too handsome to get mad at," he said sarcastically.

"True."

She said patting his shoulder and went to the classroom leaving Jungkook dumbfounded.

"Huh? What happened? Is she mad at me? I don't think so...then what happened? I've to do something."

Just by saying that he rushed to the classroom. When he entered he saw Y/n sitting all alone, looking kind of lost. He decided to go to her but someone patted his shoulder. 

He turned and asked, "What is it Taehyung hyung?"

"I've something important to tell you," he says.

"What?" He asked showing a confused and slightly annoyed look.

"Chanyeol is planning something. I think you should take your move fast before it gets too late," he replied showing concern.

"What plan and what move?" He asked totally not getting what Taehyung means.

"Yah Pabo! I'm saying you should propose to her before it's too late! Because it seems like Chanyeol is planning on proposing to her!" He says a bit loudly getting angry.

"U-Uh...why are you telling me this? I've nothing to do with it!" Jungkook replied getting flustered.

"You don't need to act in front of me. I know you like her. That's why I'm telling you," he said as he shrugged.

"W-Who told you?!" Jungkook asks getting surprised.

"Of course Jimin!" He says as if it was too obvious.

"Oh...okay."

"Hm...okay~ Bye~ And good luck with Y/n~" He said winking and left.

Jungkook now went to his bench and started searching for something in his bag.

"I think...it's in here? Found it!"

He said as he look at the chocolate bar he was holding. Then he heard someone talking from behind so he turned around.

"Mhm~ Chocolate for who?"

"Jiminie you do know whom I going to give this to," Jungkook says rolling his eyes.

 "I've been your friend since 2013 but you never brought anything for me.

But you're going to give this chocolate to someone with whom you became friends just recently?" Jimin said dramatically and started fake crying.

"And here we go again! Stop your drama. You don't deserve this chocolate," Jungkook said looking at him annoyedly.

"What?! Why?!" He asked pouting sadly.

"Why did you tell Taehyung hyung about me and Y/n?" Jungkook asks crossing his arms.

"U-Uh actually I was thinking about how to help you propose to Y/n and he heard it of course. He started asking me who I am going to propose cause he misunderstood. So I had to explain it to him," Jimin said as he shrugged.

"Okay..as it's not your fault I won't blame you. I'll buy you something tomorrow."

"Oh! Thanks but no need. I was just joking. By the way, you should hurry up and give her this chocolate! She loves chocolate a lot," Jimin said cheerfully.

"Okay...but how do you know what she likes? Like I've been noticing you pointing out what she likes and what she doesn't," he asked as he was feeling suspicious of his act.

"Uh...I'll be honest with you. I used to like her," Jimin said as he scratched his nape.

"Really?! Then why didn't you propose to her? Is it because of me?" Jungkook asks.

"No! No! uh...actually it's because she likes you," Jimin replied.

"How did you find out?"

"I most of the time caught her staring at you. And as I was deeply in love with her, I observed what she likes or dislikes. So as I know a lot about her I thought I can help you," Jimin said smiling.

"Do you still like her? If yes then I can stay friends with her...but don't bottle up your feelings," Jungkook said as he placed his hand on Jimin's shoulder.

"No! No! You don't need to do that for me and besides I don't have feelings for her anymore," he said to reassure him.

"You sure?"

"I'm really sure! Now go!" Jimin said lightly pushing him.

"Uh...okay."

With that Jungkook walked to Y/n and sat beside her.

"Y/n, I've got something for you."

Y/n looked up to Jungkook and asked, "What?"

"This," he said as he showed Y/n the chocolate.

A smile formed on her lips as she got excited.

"For me?! Thank you!" She said as she took it from him and blew him a flying kiss.

He got surprised by her sudden flying kiss and started blushing. When Y/n realized what she did her eyes grew wider and her cheeks turned red in embarrassment.

"Omo! I'm so sorry for that! I got too much excited!" She said apologizing.

"No it's fine," he said as he scratched his nape.

Y/n moved her gaze back to the chocolate as she started opening its wrapper. After opening the wrapper she took a bite from it as she again got lost in her thoughts.

What am I supposed to do in a situation where I do have a soulmate but I'm in love with my friend? She thought as she sighed.

Hearing that made Jungkook smile.

So I'm not a bully anymore?

"Huh? You said something?" She asks, staring back at him.

"No, but you didn't say anything. How's the chocolate?"

"It's tasty!" She said as she smiled.

While she was enjoying the chocolate she notice Jungkook staring at her.

"You want some?" She asked.

Jungkook just shook his head but Y/n broke a little part of the chocolate and offered it to him.

"Try some, it's good."

"No, it's fine."

"Okay," She shrugs.

Y/n was about to eat that little piece but then Jungkook spoke.

"If you're insisting so much then why not."

He said and ate that piece from Y/n's hand. Y/n got shaken.

His lips are so soft.

Hearing that Jungkook choked on the chocolate started blushing hard.

Yah Y/n! Be cleaner you unholy child!

Hearing that Jungkook started chuckling.

"What?" She asks.

"Nothing, it's just you're too cute," he smiles.

Hearing that Y/n blushed and replied, "You are too."

Soon their class teacher entered as their class started. After the last class was done everyone bowed to the class teacher as he left. Soon enough one by one each student started getting out of class leaving Y/n & Jungkook alone. After packing his bag he approached Y/n.

"Y/n, want me to walk you home?" He asked flashing a gentle smile.

"Sorry Jungkook, but not today. Last time Chan got mad so~"

"Oh, I understand. Then go have a safe trip home. Bye~"

"Bye~"

Jungkook said as he left and Y/n also left.

Y/n came outside of the school building, searching for Chanyeol everywhere and when she saw him she went to him.

"Hey! What are you doing here? Let's go home together?" She asked as she smiled.

"What about your NEW FRIEND? Did he forget you so soon?" He asked annoyedly.

"He didn't forget me. It's just I'm here for my bestie so, let's go!"

"You're lucky that I can't stay mad at you."

"I sure am," she said as she chuckled.

They started walking. They kept on walking in silence. When they reached outside Y/n's house Y/n spoke.

"Thank you for walking me home. I'll see you tomorrow, bye."

She said as she turned around but halt in her step as Chanyeol spoke,

"Y/n...there's something I need to tell you," he says.

"What?" She asked as she turned to him.

"Um...actually Y/n...I love you!"
