A week ago

At the party club, everyone was dancing to the beat enjoying their moment. Colourful lights bathed the club with beautiful hues making it all the more exciting for the guests. The host on the other hand was waiting for his friend's arrival when someone entered.

"Hey, Jungkookie! Happy Birthday!"

"Thank you, Jiminshi!" Jungkook replied with a smile.

"Wait?! Did the school's heartthrob just smile?! If your fan girls were here, they probably would've fainted by now," Jimin stated and laughed.

"Yeah don't talk about them. They're pretty..." he says and pauses for a bit.

"Huh?!" Jimin gets surprised.

"Annoying!" he completes as he rolled his eyes.

"And I thought...Never mind..." Jimin said showing an annoyed look.

Saying that Jimin starts to look around. Looking at the guests he couldn't help but be amazed by the gathering.

"Seems like you invited everyone," he said kind of surprised.

"Yes, I did," he says being proud but I don't know why.

Jimin looked at him annoyedly, "Why so proud man? Why so proud?" Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing.  "Whatever, where's that Y/n girl, your girlfriend?"Jimin asks in a teasing tone.

"Yah! How many times do I need to tell you that SHE'S.NOT.MY.GIRLFRIEND?!" he said getting annoyed.

"You would be around her 24/7 and you're saying, she's not your girlfriend?!" Jimin scoffs in disbelief.

"I just bully her. There's nothing in between us," he stated as he crossed his arms.

"Well, I think the last time when I heard, she was 17. Mean's she's turning 18 soon. What if she's your soulmate?" he again said in a teasing tone.

"No chance that she's my soulmate!"

Jimin laughs at him, "By the way, did you try to communicate with your soulmate?" he asks.

"I tried at least 100 times but I couldn't communicate. Do you know why?" Jungkook asked genuinely confused.

"Y/n probably haven't turned 18 yet, that's why," Jimin replied in a sarcastic tone.

"Yah Hyung! Will you stop?!" Jungkook said angrily.

"Okay okay, sorry!" he said as he laughed even more.

"Whatever," he rolled his eyes, "Where are the other Hyungs?" Jungkook asks.

"They're probably on their way here."

Just then someone again entered and loudly starts to speak with a huge smile on his face.

"Soulmate! You're here already?!" The person asks getting surprised.

Feeling that he recognizes the voice Jimin turned around and also shouted once noticing the person.

"Alien?! I missed you so much!" Jimin says in excitement.

"Me too!"

They started hugging each other excitedly.

"Are you guys done Jiminshi and Taehyung hyung?" he asked annoyedly.

"Yah! Why are you spoiling our special moment?! Do you even know it's been such a long time since we last met?!" Jimin said dramatically.

"Yeah but...hasn't it been only a day? I mean, we got our holiday just yesterday & you met him at school the other day too," he stated crossing his arms.

"Do you even know anything? It feels like it's been a year since we last met!" he again says getting dramatic.

"Oh, this time you're being less dramatic. I thought you would say something like, It feels like 1000 years, or something," he said, surprised.

"Don't underestimate us. Every second feels like a billion years! Do you understand anything?!" he asked being more dramatic.

He facepalmed, "And here I thought you were being less dramatic today," he sighed. "May I ask you guys something?" he asks facing Taehyung.

"Yeah, sure!" Taehyung replied showing him a bright smile.

"Why do you guys call each other soulmates?" he asks curiously.

"Good question! It's because we understand each other really well. We've been best friends since our childhood. And moreover, we can communicate through our thoughts too!" Taehyung says.

"I know but...what if you can hear each other's thoughts because you guys are close & best friends?" Jungkook adds.

"Did you come from Tae's planet or what?" Jimin asked in annoyance.

Jimin turned to Taehyung and apologized and again turned to Jungkook.

"Of course, it's because we're best friends. What were you thinking?" Jimin asks.

"Oh, and I thought-"

Jungkook got cut off when a lot of people entered at once, all wishing him.

"Happy birthday Kookie!" Another person wished him.

"Thank you Google translator hyung!" Jungkook replied teasingly.

"Are you serious?!" he said in disbelief.

"Okay sorry Joonie hyung!" Jungkook said as he smiled.

Jungkook turned around to see another hyung of his.

"Hey, sunshine hyung!" Jungkook greets.

"Happy birthday bunny boy!" he says.

"Happy birthday Jungkook."

Another voice can be heard from the other side. So, Jungkook turned to that side.

"Thank you Mr. meow meow hyung," he said showing a teasing smile.

"Yah! I've told you 100 times to not call me that or I'll sue you!"

He said looking at him annoyedly but Jungkook just chuckled.

"Happy birthday, birthday boy!"

A cheerful voice can be heard from behind him so he turned around.

"Hello pink princess, thank you," Jungkook said as he smiled.

"Yah! Do I look like a princess to you?! Imma king Imma boss!" he replied getting annoyedly.

"Don't you dare steal my lines! Stick to your WWH or whatever," he said rolling his eyes. "Do you even know that my lines are worth 3 dollars?!" Yoongi states.

"Do you know that the things you just said are bubbles?" Jin asked.

"How?" Yoongi asked as he got confused.

"Unbelibubble!" Jin said as he started laughing at his own joke.

"I can't believe I fell for that," Yoongi said as the disappointment was visible on his face.

"This is the first time I liked your joke so much!" Jungkook said as he laughed.

"You mean, usually my jokes aren't funny at all?" Jin asked getting serious.

"No hyung, they're funny. I like them," Hoseok said as he smiled.

"Yeah, you better like them! Because I'm WWH. WORLD WIDE HANDSOME, you know?"

The others started laughing at his statement & a few seconds later Jin joined them too.

Y/n wakes up from her-

"Y/n? Why are you sitting there? Weren't you supposed to be sleeping here in the bed?" I asked her getting confused.

"Author Shy~ I forgot my lines," she whines with almost teary eyes.

"Again?" I facepalmed. "Silly girl. Don't you remember that you're supposed to be sleeping here on the bed and I'll be say-" I got cut off by her.

"Yeah yeah, I remembered it now!" she says cheerfully.

"So...should we start over?" I asked.

"Yes!"

"Okay go to your spot in the count of 3...2...1...START!"

Y/n wakes up from her sleep. She was sleeping in her bed. She has a versatile room. On her bed was laid a beautiful cream colour bedsheet. By the left side of the bed, there was a side table. On the left side of the room, there was a window with curtains dangling.

Due to the gentle breeze, the curtains were slowly dancing along the rhythm.

"Ah, today's weather is so nice. Oh, wait! Today is my 18th birthday! Yay~ I'm so excited!

What if I find my soulmate today?! Oh, it would be Jincredible!

Your mom rushed out of the kitchen after hearing your conversation.

"Good morning princess! And happy birthday!" she wished her as she placed a kiss on her forehead.

"Thank you, mom!" she said as she hugged her mother, taking her in her warm embrace.

"Today is your 18th birthday. This means, that now you can communicate with your soulmate. Did you try to communicate?" she asked teasingly nudging you with her elbow.

"No, what if he is sleeping?"

"Aigoo! Look at you already concerned. You haven't met him yet and you're already worried for him."

"Mom, do you think it's funny? I don't wanna disturb him and I'm not ready to talk yet."

Her mother patted her head as she hugged her.

"Aww, my poor child is nervous?"

Y/n pulled from the hug and nodded cutely. Y/n's mother patted her head again smiling.

"Okay, then let's not talk about it," she cupped her face and asked, "You hungry? Wanna eat something?"

She nod, "Yes!!! I'm really hungry! What are we gonna eat today?!" she asked curiously.

"We're gonna eat this."

She said as she paced the plate on the table.

"Wah! Gimbap! My favourite! Thank you, mom! I love you!" she said excitedly.

She smiled and replied, "I love you too! Now, eat before it gets cold, okay?"

"Hm," she just hummed.

10 Minutes have passed and Y/n is finally done having breakfast.

"Mom, I'm done. Bye! Love you, Dad, love you, mom!"

"At least wash your hands before leaving!" he shouts.

"I already did dad! Bye, guys! Take care!"

She shouted back as she left from there. She was walking on the street heading to her school.

Woah! I'm excited! This is my first time going to school in this new look. How are they gonna react?

Let's not think about the others! But what about Jungkook? How would he react? Will he stop bullying me?

He's probably gonna say something like 'You're always ugly'. She sighs. Why do I even have a crush on him?

I mean, he bullies me, eats my lunch, makes me do his homework, and he even takes out his anger on me. Then why do I like him?

You didn't notice that you were already in school until someone patted your shoulder. You flinched and turned around.

When I walked furthermore, I saw everyone staring at this specific girl. I didn't get a perfect look at her as I was facing her back. But my god! She's really beautiful!

She was wearing a black skirt and a brown shirt on top with her beautiful golden brown hair down.

As I was curious to see who it is I approached her & got surprised as well.

I mean, REALLY SURPRISED.

"Listen, seems like a lot of guys are going to approach you. So, if you want to show them that you're powerful now. Don't say, Sorry, I really understand your feeling but I can't accept your proposal, and blah blah," Chanyeol suggests.

"Then what am I supposed to say? Should I just accept their proposals?" she asks.

He facepalmed and said, "Silly girl! Just say No to their faces or ignore them, okay?" he asks.

"Okay," she nods understanding.

As you were talking to him someone approached you with a shocked look on his face.

"Oh, Jungkook?" Chanyeol smirks, " Surprised are we?"

"Huh? Jungkook?"

she turned around.

"Jungkook?!"
