Peter has been living with his great grandpa Steve Rogers for four months now. He has really become close with him and the other two avengers that still lived in the tower, Bucky and Natasha.

Of course Steve still had to go away on missions all the time, but when that happened Peter would just invite his friends Ned and MJ, who also knew about Spiderman, over. Today was one of those days.

Ned and MJ were staying over for the weekend while his family was on a mission. Right now they were watching this movie based on the avengers, some weird space group and even Spiderman!

The movie was almost over, when all of a sudden, in the movie, Spiderman died.
"Umm excuse me!?" Peter shouted. MJ and Ned laughed at his reaction.

The end credits started to roll, and Peter turned off the TV.
"What do you guys wanna do now?" Peter asked, but no one had time to respond before FRIDAY came over the loud speaker.

"Peter, Steve is requesting a video chat." She said.
"Alright put him through." Peter responded. A projector projected Steve's face onto the wall. He was looking a little beat up.

"Steve!? Are you okay!?" Peter asked worried at the sight of Steve.
"For now, we're losing here Pete, do you think you could suit up and help us out?" Steve asked.

Peter nodded.
"I'm on my way! Stay safe!" He shouted and the call disconnected.
"Sorry guys... I gotta go." He said to his friends.

"Don't worry Peter! Good luck!" They said as they walked into the elevator. Peter's friends didn't really understand how dangerous being a superhero was, but Peter liked it that way. Less people that will worry about him.

Peter ran to his room and suited up. The fight is only a 20 minute swing away since it was happening right outside of New York.

When he was ready to go, he opened to his bedroom window and swung over to the battle.

When Peter arrived, he saw about a hundred robots surrounding his family, and a tall skinny man standing at the ledge of a building, watching, as the robots closed in on them.

Peter was still unnoticed, so he slowly swung down to wear he could easily take down a few robots. He switched to taser webs and did his best to deactivate a big clump so the avengers had somewhere to escape.

He zapped robot after robot, eventually freeing the team. Natasha nodded at him while she began taking out more robots, while Bucky smiled happily as he ripped the arms off of a bunch of bots.

Steve ran over to Peter.
"Thanks for the save, wanna help us finish up?" Steve asked. Peter nodded and told him of his discovery.
"Their controller is standing on top of that building, should we go get him?"

Steve nodded and talked through the comms.
"Buck, Nat, me and Spidey are gonna go take down their ruler okay?"
"Sure thing Cap." Nat said.

They headed up to where Peter saw the man, and decided it would be best for Peter to distract him, while Steve snuck up on him.

Peter webbed himself over to be in front of the guy. He was wearing a mask, so Peter couldn't really see what he looked like.

"Hey buddy! What are ya doin all the way up here?" He asked and put his hands on his hips. The man scowled.
"Spiderman..."

"Yep! That's the name, takin out baddies is my game." He said. Steve rolled his eyes from behind the guy. Peter's distraction was working.

"What's with all the robots?" Peter asked.
"I will destroy New York and take ove-" The man began but was interrupted by Peter.
"Take over the world, yeah yeah whatever. Why do all you freaks come to New York to take over the world?"

"You will regret ever underestimating me, Spiderman." The man growled.
"Who even are you, some kind of off brand Loki?" Peter asked.

"I, am Doctor Doomsday!" The man shouted. Peter rolled his eyes and sighed. Cap was edging closer.
"Seriously? When will you villains ever come up with a good name. Like honestly there was doctor octopus, then the goblin, then the vulture, and now you! Mr. domesday!"

"It's doctor doomsday! And don't you think I don't know you've been stalling while Captain America tries to sneak up on me." Doomsday smirked.

Peter's eyes went wide as dr.doomsday spin around and grabbed some high tech weapon and blasted Cap across the roof of the building.

"No!" Peter shouted. He clenched his fists and glared at the villain that stood before him.
"You will regret that." He hissed.

Doomsday just laughed, so Peter charged at him and began punching, shooting webs and fighting like he's never fought before.

Doomsday got a few hits in on Peter, but not enough to knock him out. Peter managed to web him to a wall on the roof, using almost a full cartridge to keep him there.

He ran over to Cap, who was laying unconscious on the roof. Peter wanted to hug him but couldn't risk his identity. He checked for a pulse, and when he found one it made him sigh in relief.

He grabbed Steve's comm,
"Nat, Bucky you need to come up to the roof!" He shouted.
"On our way, all the robots are destroyed." Natasha said.
"What's wrong?" Bucky asked.
"It's Steve, the guy, dr. Doomsday, shot him with this high tech weapon. He's alive, but unconscious and his pulse is really weak." Peter explained.

It only took about a minute for Natasha and Bucky to make their way up to the roof where Peter still sat beside his great grandpa's unconscious body.

Bucky and Nat ran over.
"Kid! How is he?" Bucky asked.
"I'm not sure, he's alive though." Peter said.
"Let me check him out. You two go bring doomsday to SHIELD." Natasha said.

Bucky and Peter walked over and each grabbed apart of the web cocoon that doomsday was in.

The villain drop off was easy, so Peter quickly grabbed Bucky swung back to the tower. When they got there, they ran to the med bay.

"Hi, I'm looking for Steve." Peter said. He was still in his full costume but he didn't care. He just wanted to make sure that Parker luck wouldn't strike again.

The nurse led him and Bucky into Steve's room, where Steve sat, awake, and talking with Natasha. When they saw the two walk in, Natasha stood up and walked out of the room with Bucky to give Steve some time alone with Peter.

"You did good back there Pete." Steve smiled as he patted on the bed for Peter to sit. Peter sat down and smiled back.
"Thanks Steve, you really freaked me out when I saw you go down." Peter said shyly.

"I'm sorry for scaring you Pete, but what Natasha told me you did, how you kept your cool and took down the enemy, I was so proud to hear that." Steve said seriously.

"Thanks Steve, I'm so glad you're okay. I thought that Parker luck was gonna get you too..." Peter said the last part quietly.

Steve grabbed Peter's arm and made him look at him.
"Pete listen to me, I will always be here for you and don't ever doubt that. Even if... when I die, I will always be there for you okay?" Steve said.
Peter nodded.
"Okay."

"Good! Now why don't we watch one of the old 'us' movies. How about that one where I fight you?" Steve asked. Peter laughed.
"I love that one! Except for the fact that I would totally kick your butt." Peter teased.

Steve rolled his eyes and laughed. That's how the two heroes spent the rest of their day, watching the movie and eventually falling asleep together in the hospital bed. When Nat and Bucky found them like that, they couldn't help but snap a picture.
