This is a part two to Pirate-Man that was requested! This takes place a short time  after Peter agrees to become an avenger and him and fury are going to tell tony.

Peter was still completely flabbergasted at what had happened the week before. Nick Fury, the Nick Fury, had asked him to be apart of the Avengers! Well, as a part-time Avenger, but he still got to go on missions with his idols!

He had another meeting with Fury this afternoon, and that's where he was swinging to right now. Fury said that he needed to tell the news to Tony, but Peter was very scared. He looked up to Tony as I he were his father, and he really didn't want him to oppose the idea of becoming an avenger.

Him and Fury had been spending a lot of time together since the offer was accepted, and Peter was beginning to feel a connection to the man. It was nothing like the fatherly connection he felt towards Tony, but he no longer saw the man as the intimidating director  of a secret spy agency that could kill you with his signature one-eyed glare, but as a friend who could crack jokes and care about a human being, who in this case, was Peter.

He had almost arrived at SHEILD headquarters when his thoughts of his mentors reaction began to worry him once more.

Nick sat in his office, waiting for Peter and Tony to arrive. He knew inviting the young hero to join the Avengers was the right thing to do, and he didn't care what the others thought because he would force them to accept their new member. Why? Because, and I know it sounds completely ridiculous, but because Nick Fury, the heartless man with an eyepatch cared for the kid.

He would never tell anyone, but the more time Nick spent with Peter, the more he had enjoyed listening to the kids endless talks about just about anything, and the way he would always be so excited to come and see him. When he found out Peter's identity, he did some research on him and discovered that the kid had had a depressing past. But even with all the loss and heartbreak he experienced, the kid still managed to almost always have a smile on his face and want to help the helpless.

Fury was snapped from his thoughts when Tony Stark entered his office.
"Hey Eyepatch, how ya doin?" Tony said as he sat down in one of two chairs in front of Fury.
"Stark." Fury rolled his eye.
"So what's this big news you have to tell me?" Tony asked.
"Well actually, I'm not the one telling you, he is." Fury answered as he pointed to the window.

Just as soon as Nick motioned at the window, Peter swung in and stood beside the one eyed man. He rubbed his neck awkwardly and spoke to his father figure before him.

"H-Hey Mr. Stark." Peter said nervously.
"Kid, it's Tony, and what are you doing in Eyepatch's office? You didn't get in trouble with SHIELD did you? Cause god kid I swear you-" Peter cut him off,

"Actually, no Tony, I am not in trouble, it's quite the opposite actually." Peter said with a small chuckle.
"Wait, what do you mean?" Tony asked cautiously.

"Well-" Peter tried to start but Tony cut him off,
"You know what, maybe I don't wanna hea-" Nick then cut Tony off,
"Stark! Listen to what Peter has to say." He said sternly.

Tony's eyes went wide with shock and panic. He knew that if SHIELD found out your identity, that your life would change and you would forever be monitored by them, and he didn't want Peter to have to live through a life of constantly being watched.

"How?" Tony stuttered.
"Mr. Stark, Tony, it's okay. I told him who I was." Peter said as he removed his mask.
"Pete, why would you do this?" Tony asked.
"Because well... Mr. Fury offered me a spot on the Avengers... and I accepted it." Peter said with a small smile, hoping that his idol would accept his decision.

"You what!?" Tony said to Fury.
"Calm down Stark, I've been monitoring Spider-Man for awhile now and it will only be part time. Peter's school work comes first of course. He is to join the team on missions when he is available, and before you ask, no SHIELD will not be invading his personal life. In fact, no one in SHIELD other than you and me know Peter's identity." Fury explained.

"Wait so you didn't put him in the system?" Tony asked.
"No. As Peter mentioned when we were first discussing his addition to the team, SHIELD had been hacked many times, and we don't want to risk his enemies obtaining his identity." Fury smiled at Peter.

Tony saw the smile and began to laugh. Peter and Nick looked at him confused.
"Oh my god! You've gone soft for Underoos! The cold hearted Nick Fury, caring about a kid!" Tony laughed wildly.

"STARK!" Fury yelled.
"Ahaha Underoos and Eyepatch. Who woulda thought." Tony shook his head still laughing.

Peter blushed and looked at the ground embarrassed. Nick pressed a button on his desk to which a female voice answered.
"How can I help sir?" The voice asked.
"Get me the Avengers, tell them it's an urgent meeting that they must attend in 20 minutes." Fury's said.
"Yes sir." The voice said and the machine clicked off.

"Wait, why are the avengers coming?" Peter asked.
"Well because I think it's time they met their new teammate." Fury smiled to Peter again.

It was odd for Nick to smile this much, but he did admit to himself that he had a soft spot for the young hero.

"Well let's go then shall we?" Tony said as he opened the door. Peter looked at Tony nervously.
"Don't worry kiddo, you got this." Tony smiled to his kid.

20 minutes later, the rest of the Avengers, meaning Steve, Natasha, Bruce, Clint, Wanda, Vision, Bucky, Thor, Rhodey and Sam, were all sitting in a conference room waiting with Tony for Fury to announce his 'big news' to them.

Just then Fury walked in with a kid standing beside him.
"Who's the kid?" Natasha asked.

Fury wrapped his arms around Peter, and introduced him to his new team.
"This is Peter, aka Spiderman, if he ever gets hurt just to let you know, I will come after you and kill you. Oh, and he's also apart of the avengers now!" Fury said, and everyone's mouths dropped open at the fact that this kid managed to not only make Tony Stark go soft, but Nick Fury as well.
