Peter Parker-Stark attended Midtown High. He wasn't the most popular kid in school to say the least. He had his two friends, Ned and MJ, and his bully Flash, but other than that, no one really acknowledged his existence.

However, when he wasn't at school, he was hanging out with his family, the avengers, or patrolling the city as New York's favourite masked menace, Spiderman.

His two best friends knew all about his secret life, but everyone else had no idea. At least that's what he thought...

Peter was currently in gym class, bored out of his skull. They were all sitting on the floor, listening to their gym teacher explain how to properly catch a kin ball.

The one good thing about gym, was that Ned and MJ were in his class. Without them, he would have probably just skipped this class. Unfortunately, Flash was in his class too and that made for a lot of extra teasing time while they were playing sports.

The coach was almost finished his thorough explanation, when the principles voice rang through the loudspeakers.

"Attention Midtown Students, we are now experiencing a full lockdown. Please go to your safety spots as practiced in our drills." The principle said. A few students panicked, while others shrugged it off as another drill.

Peter hoped it was a drill, since he didn't have access to his suit right now. He did have his web shooters on, but that's only because he always wore them.

"Alright everyone, go to your safe zone!" The gym teacher called out. Peter could tell he also thought it was a drill based on his attitude towards the situation.

Everyone made their way to a corner of the gym and sat down quietly while they waited for the lockdown to end. Peter himself was starting to believe it was a drill, until the gym doors were blasted open and three men with black masks over their faces burst into the room.

A few students screamed, while other looked shocked and couldn't move. Peter was just waiting to see what these guys wanted from a bunch of high school aged teens.

"Alright listen up!" The tallest intruder shouted, "we received special information that Spiderman not only attended this school, but that he was in this class."

Everyone gasped and looked around at one another. Peter began to panic. These men where here for him, but he had no way to get his suit and he didn't want to risk his identity.

"We will be killing off each one of you, until the freak reveals himself and surrenders over to us!" The shortest guy said.

A few people began to cry, while others looked around still trying to figure out who was Spiderman. Peter looked over at Ned and MJ who gave him a worried look.

The middle height man spoke next.
"Since we're gonna be here for awhile, why don't we introduce ourselves boys?"

"I'm Harrison." The tall one said.
"Jacob." The short one smirked.
"And I am the leader... Tom."

They all pulled out their guns and Tom walked around as if trying to sniff out who would be their first targets. He stopped in front of Ned and MJ.

"These two." Tom said. As soon as he said it, Jacob and Harrison grabbed them and put their guns to their heads. A few classmates gasped while Peter clenched his fists.

"Alright Spiderman! Unless you want these two innocent students to get their brains blown out, I'd suggest you reveal yourself... now." Tom laughed.

The ones holding Ned and MJ cocked their guns to which a few students screamed. Peter knew he had to do something, but if he did, it would reveal his identity.

Then he realized that these men would actually kill all of his classmates and probably even him, so it made no sense to hide this. He took a deep breath and pulled Ned and MJ away from the guns with his webs.

A big circle spread around him. Tom smirked as Jacob and Harrison aimed their guns at Peter.
"Hello Spiderman." Tom grimaced.

Peter rolled his eyes and jumped over to the intruders.
"This is between you and me, so why don't we leave the students alone huh?" Peter said.

The men looked at one another and started laughing.
"I don't think so. Now we get to kill you in front of all your classmates. That's much more fun than doing it in some alley." Tom replied.

Peter knew he couldn't be as reckless in the gym as he would be in an alley. He had to control all their fire so it was directed at him and not at the other students.

"Either way I'll still kick your butts!" Peter yelled as he shot a web and Jacob and swung him into Harrison. The two groaned as they lay on the floor covered in webs.

Tom grabbed his gun and began shooting at Peter who dodged every bullet that came his way. Tom saw that he wasn't going to win by shooting at Peter, so he switched it up a bit.

He spun around and pointed his gun at one of the students behind him. Which just so happened to be Flash.
"Take off your web shooters and surrender, otherwise I kill him." Tom growled.

Peter looked at Flash. He could see the fear in the bully's eyes. He knew that if he gave up his web shooters, that Tom would kill him instantly. But if he didn't, then Flash would die and no matter how much Peter despised Flash, he didn't want him to die.

"Okay okay! Don't shoot! I'm taking off my shooters..." Peter said as he slowly removed his web shooters. He saw Tom start to lower his gun and pick it back up so it faced Peter.

Peter knew he had to time this right. Tom now had the gun fully pointed at him.
"You heroes are too selfless." Tom rolled his eyes as he pulled the trigger.

Peter heard MJ as well as a few others scream. He saw the bullet coming towards him and quickly snatched his web shooter back off the ground as he jumped into the air.

Just as he shot out a web that trapped Tom, he felt the bullet rip through his leg. He screamed in pain as he fell to the floor.

Everything was silent. The intruders were caught, but Peter lay on the ground with a bullet hole in his leg. Everyone was staring in shock, until Ned and MJ ran over.

"Peter! Peter!" MJ shouted. Peter's head shot up and he looked at MJ.
"You're such an idiot..." she sighed in relief at seeing that he was okay.

MJ and Ned helped Peter stand up and face his classmates that officially knew his secret. Slowly they all started to clap and eventually cheer for the hero. Even Flash.

"Woo! Peni- Peter Parker saved us!" Flash yelled. Peter smiled and limped over to his class.

"Okay, now that you all know my secret I need you to promise me that you won't tell anyone. Please." Peter said.

"Don't worry Spiderman, we got your back." He  heard someone say. That was followed with a bunch of yea's as Peter smiled at his class.

Maybe this wouldn't turn out too bad. They all promised to keep his secret, and he had managed to stop a gang of criminals who's leader looked suspiciously like him...
Oh well! Probably just a coincidence!
