Pirate-Man

Just a reminder that every one shot includes a blank storyline! So basically whatever happened in other chapters has nothing to do with the other ones.

Peter was swinging around the city on a Saturday morning, thinking about how much homework he had to get done by Monday. However, he was shaken from his thoughts, when he saw a man threatening a younger guy in an alley with a gun.

Peter swing down to the scene where he stood behind the criminal. Neither man had noticed him yet, and the gun man was getting dangerously close to pulling that trigger. So Peter did what every superhero should do, he made a snarky comment to annoy the armed man!

"Hey buddy, didn't your mom tell you not to threaten people with guns? Like seriously this is parenting 101." Peter said as he snatched the gun from his hand with a web.

The criminal grumbled and pulled out another gun from inside his coat and pointed it at the man again before Peter had a chance to capture him.

"Oh come on? What kind of guy is paranoid enough to have two guns!?" Peter shouted.
"I'd watch your mouth spiderboy, I'm sure you wouldn't want another death on your conscience." The criminal smirked.

Peter didn't let this comment faze him as he's heard it many times before, but what he did get nervous about was that his Spidey sense was telling him he needed to do something quick otherwise this man was going to get shot.

"Listen buddy! I'm the one that puts people like you in jail right. What did this guy do? Why don't you point the gun at me instead and this guy leaves. We'll make this between you and me." Peter spoke calmly even though he was asking someone to put a gun to him.

"I could go for that, I'm gonna get so much street cred for killing the Spiderman!" The guy laughed as he took the gun and pointed it, point blank, at Peter.

The innocent man took his opportunity and ran off as quickly as possible. Peter sighed in relief at this as it meant part one of stopping this guy was complete. Now he just needed to not get shot, and web this guy up.

"Goodbye SpiderFreak." The man said as he pulled the trigger. Peter saw this coming however, and just barely dodged the bullet as it zoomed past him.

"For someone who carries two guns around, you really should learn how to shoot them." Peter said as he flipped over the man and webbed his hands together.

The man grunted and tried to break free, but it was no use as Peter webbed the guy to the side of the alleyway.
"Bye Mr. Criminal! Have fun in prison!" Peter waved as he swung away.

What Peter didn't know, was that there was a man standing on a rooftop closely watching the famous vigilante. He was closely monitoring every move the boy made.

The man watched as Spider-Man singlehandedly controlled a dangerous situation where a citizen was in danger and managed to capture the criminal as well. He never said this very often, but he was impressed. And he was determined to meet this so called 'menace'.

Peter was practicing some of his web combinations on the roof of an abandoned building when his Spidey senses alerted him of someone approaching. It wasn't classified as a threat, but still something to be weary of.

Peter looked around suspiciously before calling out to whoever was stalking him.
"I know you're there so you might as well just come out creepo!" He called out.

Then, out of the shadows came a man whom Peter did not recognize. He was a tall man wearing a black trench coat and one of his eyes were covered with an eyepatch.

"And who are you supposed to be, Pirate-Man?" Peter said laughing to himself. He was confused as to why this man looked so familiar, but he couldn't put his finger on it.

"My name is Nick Fury, director of SHEILD." Fury said.

Peters eyes went wide. He had just insulted the head of SHIELD. What if he arrested him!? What if he had to go rot in a jail cell for the rest of his life because he called one of the most powerful people in the world Pirate-Man!? He was really freaking out.

"M-Mr. Fury, s-sir, I-I'm so s-sorry I didn't r-recognize you." Peter stuttered. He mentally face palmed himself for sounding so dumb.

"It's fine Spiderman, but I need you to come back to base with me. We need to talk." Fury said.

"Wait what!? You're not gonna arrest me are you!?" Peter panicked.
"What no, we just need to talk about Spiderman." Fury chuckled.

He would never admit it, but this kid was kind of funny. Stark called him a bunch of names, but when this kid did it and then thought he was going to arrest him! Well that made Fury's  day.

"Oh alright. I'll follow you over then." Peter said as he got ready to jump off the building. His mind was racing. He was going to SHIELD headquarters and he was terrified. He could never show his fear though. He had to act like the brave hero Spiderman is supposed to be.

When they arrived at SHEILD, Peter had not calmed down in the slightest. Peter and Fury went to his office where Peter sat in front of the intimidating man.

"Listen kid, I have been watching you for some time and I've gathered some information on you. I know that you are still in high school and go to Midtown High, and that Stark knows who you are under the mask." Fury explained.

"Okay so what do you want from me?" Peter asked.

"I want to know who you are kid. Just tell me your name." Fury said.

"Well, Mr. Fury, I'm sure you understand that I can't just give that away so easily. I mean if my enemies ever found out my identity, then they would target everyone I care about. And it's not like SHEILD hasn't been hacked before." Peter said.

"I like your attitude kid. But the reason why I'm asking, is because I want you to become a part-time avenger." Fury said.

"Wait what!? Wow that would be amazing! What do you mean by part-time?" Peter asked.

"Well your schooling comes first, of course, but if you are available I would like to start sending you in on some missions." Fury asked.

"Thank you Mr. Fury. It's an honour and I'd love to!" Peter smiled.

"Well then, we can make this final, but I need to know who you are so I can make sure you are always safe. You're still a kid, and I want you as a SHIELD member for a long time." Fury said.

"Peter. Peter Parker." Peter smiled as he shook Fury's hand.

"Well then Peter, welcome to the Avengers."

I really made Fury have a spot for Peter in this. I hope you all enjoyed this and I hope I was able to portray Fury well as I've never really wrote about his character before. Thank you so much for reading and the next part should be up soon!
