The Jackals are silent, Zero isn't with them because him and Eggman is having a talk.

"ugh! I can't take this anymore!" the Jackal wearing a red handkerchief said in pure frustration.

"Uno, just calm down for once" The only female of the squad said to the jackal named Uno sternly.

"no I'm telling you, Boss lost his mind!" Uno yelled at her as he pointed at the hall where Zero walked off to.

"there must be a reason why he accept it" the Jackal with a band on his shoulder said.

"and what is THAT reason then?!" Uno asked in anger, the one with a red hat slam his hand on the metal wall glarring at Uno.

"that's enough! Yelling isn't ganna help here" he said at Uno with a cold tone.

"oh look who decided to talk Mr. Perfect" Uno said to the Jackal which he growls at him in return.

"UNO! DUEX! THAT'S ENOUGH!" Y/N shouted at them which shutting them up and made them look at Y/N glarring at them with his A/C eyes.

"if you both don't stop arguing i swear I'll crack both of your skulls open!" Y/N threatened them while helding up his dagger in their faces with a furious expression.

Uno and the jackal wearing a red hat named Duex are silent but keep giving eachother death glares.

Y/N turn around away from them and let out a deep sigh holding his forehead.

" y...you alright..?" he flinched a bit but soon calmed down when he sees the jackal with a band on his shoulder looking at him with concern.

"...i'm..i'm fine Cinq just..." he let out another sigh. "let me think alone..." he said, the Jackal named Cinq slowly nodded and start to walk away from him to give him space.

Soon they heard footsteps making them look and sees Zero walking towards them, Y/N squinted his eyes and he felt something is off about him.

He decided to shake it off and walk towards him.

"Zero...is everything alright?" Y/N asked and sees Zero starring at him, it made Y/N felt...uncomfortable.

"...i'm fine..we are now working on for the Doctor, protect this base and don't let any intruder get here" he demanded, Y/N is silent but he nodded. The other Jackals look at eachother before nodding in respond.

"alright then...let's move" he said as he walked passed Y/N, Y/N is silent for a moment and none of the Jackals is following.

Zero stops and clenched his hands to fists tightly.

"i said let's move!" he said impatiently which startled them and immediately follow Zero, Y/N on the other hand is silent and didn't move. He turn his hands into fists before following behind.

The only female of the group named Trois look at Zero. "why did you accepted it?" she asked as Zero keep looking ahead.

"i saw it..." he said making her to look at him confused, "what?" she asked as Zero start to smile.

"i see it...the future...our future...we won't have to hide anymore, we won't have to be outcasts anymore..." he said and look at her with a smile that she doesn't recognize.

Trois felt a bit uncomfortable about this. "and and you think it's normal to suddenly see the future? I think it's a scam" she said as Zero scoffed.

"it isn't...this will be our time..." he said with a smirked and walk farther ahead while Trois just stared at him with concern, Y/N heard it, he heard it all. He tighten his fists, he doesn't like this at all.

The Jackals have been working for Eggman in couple of days, but one day Zero got called by Eggman.

And it keeps going he always gets called by Eggman and comes back looking dazed but after few more days passed Zero acted more and more Stange.

Y/N noticed his eyes changes color in each days passed, his two usual yellow and blue eyes have turned into more dull pink color. It made Y/N worried more.

"hey, uh Y/N boss is acting weird" the jackal wearing a headband named Quatre whispered to Y/N.

"and you think i don't notice? His eyes even change colors and last time i remember mobians don't suddenly change eye color" Said Y/N in a very worried tone.

"what do we do then Y/N?" Quatre asked in worry as Y/N think.

"...I'll try and talk to him" Y/N said as soon as he said that he sees Zero walked passed them, he look at Quatre and approuch Y/N right after.

"Zero" Y/N called out but Zero ignore him.

"Zero!" Y/N called him out again but he is ignored once again, Y/N had enough.

"Zero! Let me talk to y-" Y/N walked more faster and grab his shoulder to turn him around but in swift movement Zero quickly grabbed Y/N's hand and turn around to grab his neck and pinned him to the wall.

"Boss! What are you doing?!" Uno said which got the other's reaction.

"Boss let him go!" Cinq said about to approuch Zero but Trois quickly grabbed his arm to stop him.

Y/N let out gasp and struggled feeling suffocation.

Zero glared at Y/N with his pinkish red eyes glowing furiously.

"Z-Zer-" he gasp "Zer-o" he gasp again struggling to breath.

Zero continued to glare at him tightening his grip on him, but soon Y/N's (E/C) eyes meet up with his own reddish pink eyes.

He stared at his eyes for a bit before he start to feel his senses making his eyes turn back to blue and yellow.

His eyes widen and let go of Y/N which made him gasp for air immediately and cough for getting suffocated for too long.

The twins immediately went to Y/N to check over him while Zero stared at them with wide eyes. Not believing what he just did.

"..Y-Y/N..i'm sor-" he got cutted off by Trois and Uno as Duex approuch the 3 to seperate the twins from Y/N to make sure Y/N have space to breath and calm down.

"that's enough...Boss..." Trois said starring at Zero with no emotion on her face, Uno glared at Zero as he look at the two of them.

"you've cause enough" she said as she stared at him and turn around to walk off, Zero look at Uno as Uno glared at him angrily and turn around to join the others.

Zero is left alone watching his squad and sees N/N calming down, Zero's chest twisted at the feeling and look at his hands.

For that moment he felt himself out of control and it made him hurt Y/N, his little brother. He gritten his teeth as he look at his squad one more time before walking away from them.
