"Before I was born, God chose me and called me by his marvelous grace."

Every day, God chooses you. He chooses to know you deeply, to know your likes and dislikes. To know your needs and wants. He chose you before you were even formed in your mother's womb, all because he knew that, one day, the world would need one of you in it. Someone who possesses strength, courage, love, and faith so deeply that it has shaped your life into one that lives through Christ.

The Great and Almighty Father chose this life for each and every one of us.

He chose this for you.

So, let me ask you something... when was the last time that you chose Him? I mean, really, truly chose him. Not as a last resort, or a religious obligation, but as a God who has loved you more than anyone ever could. When was the last time you kneeled before Him and simply allowed the silence to surround you, to enable you to hear his whispers? This world is so full of noise and distractions, and people seem to be so afraid of the quiet. But, when you spend time in it, you can discover so much more than you would have been able to hear among the hustle and bustle of the world. So, I implore you, try. Choose to spend time with your Creator in a quiet place; it may change the course of your day. It will give you the chance to be aware of your inner struggles and thoughts that are otherwise hidden from sight. Trust me, you'd be surprised how much you let go of in the presence of God. Don't doubt the power that His presence provides.

"My love, you were chosen to be free." Galatians 5:13

Intending freedom for all eternity, He chose us.  By choosing Him, you can be free from all that holds you back. No shame, no addiction, no loss, no grief could shake you from His embrace. Rest in that fact, my friends. Rest in the thought that God loves without ceasing even though we may not always deserve it. Even though sin threatens to hold us back, He pulls back stronger. His grip will NOT fail. He WILL choose you. If you need proof, look at the cross.

He chose you over His own son.

Choose Him.
