Tbh, I think that the problem with the 2016 election is the media and peer pressure. In the other elections, nobody cared. "You're voting for Obama? Mitt Romney? Hillary? Okay."

Now, if you vote Trump, you're bunched with the conversation-therapy supporters. You become one with the biased, racist, priveleged white males that you think of when you see "Trump Supporter."
If you vote Hillary, you're a stupid liberal/feminist/SJW/BLM supporter.
And it doesn't even matter if you deny this, you can give a pretty rational reason (I've seen them for both candidates) as to why and they'll still shove labels in your face.

In any event, you're pressured a d catagorized into things that YOU DON'T WANT TO BECOME.
In school, we comply to rules to avoid the consequences.
Likewise, we vote for Hillary, because if we don't, we're a racist/sexist/misogynist. We vote for Trump, because if we don't, we're a stupid, blind, feminist liberal. (I know that I'm repeating myself)

We can't even vote third party because then we're "throwing our vote away" (not supporting who they want you to). We can't vite third party because we support Trump and Hillary simutaneously; the responses vary depending on what they want for you to do. It's voter manipulation.

We can't begrudgingly vote for Donal because we become the stereotypical supporter. We can begrudgingly vote for Hillary for the same reasons.

OR you say "I'll vote for [candidate] bc no me gusta [other candidate] más", but they pull the "I'm not mad, just disappointed" by catagorizing AGAIN. But if you vote for [insert their candidate here], then you're a hero for fighting against the plague that is [other candidate].
