Welcome lovely Reader~San! My name is- well, you can call me Author or Writer or whatever suits you! I am oh so overjoyed to see you in my book! It is awfully nice of you to read it, and I do hope you enjoy!

Ah, but where are my manners?  I haven't introduced you to my cast! The thing is, I am afraid I cannot show you them, for I have no photos that represent them. However I can describe them in the story, so you will not be completely blind to their appearance.

You must be curious correct? On why this book is so special? Well if I told you, wouldn't that be boring? Though it is common curtesy to show a prologue, so at least you will have some idea~

Now even though I have the whole book completed, because I'm an evil kitty and also have some final checks, I'll release the prologue and first chapter now, and the rest as soon as possible!

Here, for you my readers, is a little snip bit!

Player, here's some advice;

Be careful. Play it safe. Keep your thoughts in your head and your heart on your sleeve and never, never forgot to hide your soul. For your soul is the one thing you cannot lose. You can bare your thoughts to him, and he'll play on them. You can show your heart and he'll steal it. But guard your soul, player, and guard it well. Because he will not give back the one thing he doesn't have.

Make your moves wisely. Plan two moves ahead then plan against them. Cheat the cheater but don't get caught. Get caught and prove the other one more guilty. There can only be one loser, for there are no ties in this game but a lot of lies in this game. You see, this is where the fun begins. This is where you play hero and villain, this is where you play powerful and powerless and this is where you play on the breathless as you try to keep yourself in your head-

Stop.

Think about those on the board. Those who long for a second chance. Those who long to get back the days they've lost and the time they've taken.

Player. You are a second chance. You are the possibility that this mistake can be fixed or better yet erased. Player, we cannot help you and from this point on you will be on your own. Our hands are tied to a cage we locked ourselves into. Player, we will wait for you. We all hold deep regret in our hearts and had I had it my way this wouldn't have to start. But player, this game must be played.

So player, it is your move.

Destroy what I have made.
