Phoenix

It's been a few weeks, and you and Phoenix are beginning to become closer and closer as time goes on.

You and Phoenix sit in English, waiting for the bell to ring and class to start. He turns to you

"So, Y/N, are you coming to my football game tonight?" He asks

"Of course! I can't wait to see you guys kick some butt!" You exclaim, smiling happily

"Awesome, and I can't wait to kick some butt!" A few other members of the junior football team, who are also in your class, cheer and pump their fists, obviously excited for the game.

The bell rings and the class immediately quiets down.

The rest of your classes seem to fly by, and soon it's time for the football game.

You grab your bag from your locker and rush out to the football field, where the team is warming up.

Phoenix sees you and waves, you wave back excitedly. A few other girls, who must think the two of you are dating, and are jealous, glare at you. You ignore them and move to find Eclipse, Asher, Nixon and Fawn, who you had also become good friends with.

They smile and wave you over. You walk to them and drop your bag next to theirs.

Eclipse smirks and elbows you in the ribs

"I saw you waving at Phoenix." She says in a teasing tone

"The other girls are still glaring at you." Nixon laughs, looking at the angry girls, who are now trying desperately to get Phoenix's attention

"Guys, the game is starting!" Fawn exclaims, as the crowd begins cheering.

The game is exciting and fun, and in the end, your team wins!

The crowd goes wild as the game ends, and the football teams run into the school to get changed.

"They won!" Eclipse exclaims, as you all high-five.

The five of you wait for Phoenix to change. Once he's finished, he runs out to the football field and is bombarded with hugs and high-fives from his cousins.

"Congratulations Phoenix!" You call, high-fiving him happily.

"Thanks guys," he say, flashing a toothy grin.

After that, you go home, excited for the next football game, seeing as you had so much fun at this one.

Asher

You and Asher had been becoming better friends lately, and you were quite happy about that.

You sit quietly at your desk, reading your favourite book while waiting for class to start.

"Y/N!" Asher calls, walking to your desk with a wide grin on his face

"Yeah?" You ask, putting your bookmark in your book and setting it on your desk, then turning to face him

"You should walk into town tonight with my cousins and I." He says, looking down at you

"Okay, I'll text my mom during break." You say, picking your book back up

"Where should I tell my mom to pick me up?" You ask, focusing back on your book

"We're going to Ninjago's Central Park!" Asher, who had begun to walk back to his own desk, calls back.

Eventually, you get through your classes and it's the end of the day. You grab your stuff from your locker and shove it into your bag, and meet the others outside the front doors of the school.

You all begin walking, being careful not to get run over by any cars. You talk and laugh about various subjects while walking.

Soon, you arrive at the park, and everyone makes a break for the swing sets. It doesn't matter how old you are, swing sets are always fun.

You grab a swing and sit in it. Nixon grabs the swing beside you, Fawn grabs the one beside him, Eclipse beside her and Phoenix beside her. Asher is the only one who doesn't get a swing.

He leans against the pole closest to your swing and pours playfully

"Aww, Asher, I'll switch with you-" he smiles "-If you push me." He narrows his eyes at you, but continues smiling

"And I thought you were going to be nice." He says playfully, and moves to stand behind you.

He pushes you on the swing for a while, then you switch and push him on the swing.

Nixon

You and Nixon were becoming good friends, and you loved it, because you thought that Nixon was so much fun to be around!

"Y/N! Y/N!" You hear your name being called from somewhere in the cafeteria, causing you to look around. Then, you see him; Nixon is running over to you, an overly excited look on his face.

As he nears you, you set your (lunch food) down and wait for him to tell you what he was so excited about.

He shoves onto the bench beside you, pushing Phoenix out of the way

"Hey, watch it!" Phoenix exclaims, while Fawn and Eclipse laugh

"Y/N, guess what!" Nixon says, looking at you

"What?" You ask, looking at him as well

"I get to go to a robotics competition, and I get to bring someone! So, you wanna come with me?" He asks, smiling happily

"Of course, as long as my parents are okay with it." You answer

"Awesome! It's on Friday!"

Your parents tell you that you can go, and you tell Nixon.

Friday finally arrives and you get on the bus that's taking you, the robotics team, their robots, and their plus-one's to the robotics competition.

Nixon has already explained to you that they had to build robots that have to complete specific tasks, and the robots will be judged on how well they perform each task. Then, a winner will be announced.

You arrive at the competition, and make your way quickly into the gymnasium of the other school, where the competition is being held.

Nixon and the robotics team goes to register and then the competition begins.

You watch nervously as Nixon's robot completes task after task. His robot seems to be doing very well, but some of the other robots are also doing pretty well.

Nixon finds his way back to you as they're about to announce the winner

"I'm so nervous." He says quietly. You turn and nod, telling him that you are nervous as well.

"Our first place winner is; Nixon Walker, from Ninjago High School!" The announcer exclaims, motioning for Nixon to make his way onto the stage to collect his prize.

The robotics team from your school, as well as everyone else in the room, erupts into applause.

Nixon makes his way onto the stage, gets his envelope, metal and plaque and smiles directly at you. You smile happily and give him a thumbs up.
