"The UNSC maximum security detention center hmmm?" "Yes ma'am that'd be where you are" "And why exactly am I stuck in this thing?" "Cause your a prisoner". "The getup dumb meow", "ohhhh that's cause your a caution case". You sigh and slide back down the wall and put your head on your knees. "Is capital punishment too much to hope for?" The guy starts laughing "kill you? Pffft the UNSC dosent do that kind of thing lady". Church is gone...Wash is probably locked up in here somewhere and the reds and blues are heros... well (y/n) you'd be prostituted and possibly dead in a ditch at this point if you didn't become a freelancer so...what.... So atleast I get to die in a cell? You start laughing at yourself your head still on your propped up knees and laugh harder when you realize how crazy you probably look. "I'm all curled up in a meowing straight jacket laughing like a lunatic!" You giggle not caring if anyone hears. "Ha ha very funny". You hear a fimilar voice say. You look up and there across the hall is a fimilar face. "Hey Wash", "(Y/n)" he replies nodding in your direction. "Please tell me they look care of your-" "like the gaurd said the're not animals". ""Hey...." You say softly trying to get him to look up at you. "Atleast you got to skip the hug jacket", you joke not liking him being so sad. "Did they just not have food at blood gulch or what?" "Huh?"

(Wash's pov.)

"Huh?". Oh don't play dumb with me I think looking up at her. "Your armor was like 3 sizes too big when I pulled it off you". She dosent look at me what the meow is going on (y/n)! "Not much food no... alot happened after I got shipped off with the alpha". "What did they do to you?" I didn't mean to ask it it just kind of came out the question I've wanted to ask ever since epsilon went into my head and I saw her. "What do you mean?" She asks innocently looking at me blankly "meowit (y/n) I saw you when epsilon went into my head!" She flinches at the use of her name and then brings her feet up and taps her shoulders with them. Wait how the meow is that possible she's meowing flexible?! She motions wildly "arms?" She grins at me. Why the meow isn't she talking ? She brings her feet up to either side of her eye and and moves on of her big toes down while winking. Ohhhhhhh camera I nod and she puts her legs back down. Barb she's so creative... I open my mouth to say something else but a gaurd comes and motions me to get up.

(Y/n pov.)

He looks like he's about to say something else but a guard comes and takes him away and you lay back on the floor. There's no way I would tell him even if I wasn't surrounded by cameras in a meowing prison...right? Right not even if he said my name again with that soothing voice...meow what the heck is wrong with me?! You look around your cell for about the 4th time since waking up. Empty empty empty empty.... me, my, type, temp, yep, met, emp, pet, pety? Not that's 2 t's....

(Time skip)

You have lost track of time it seems like Wash left years ago although it could have been days seeing as nothing ever changes. Morning when they turn the big lights on and the guy asks me if I have to go to the bathroom and I get food. Afternoon the second time the guy comes and asks me if I have to go to the bathroom and usually scolds me for not eating all my food. Evening when they bring more food and more questions about the bathroom. Night when they turn the big lights put and take my unfinished food. Day in day out again and again.

(Time skip)

"Hello". You open your eyes and see a face you didn't think you'd ever see again. "Hey meow, what the meow are you doing here?" "Wow warm welcome I see". "Well you have like tried to kill me before and from what I heard you tried to kill my friends too". She sighs "also you kind of are not in jail and I am so...you know I have reason to be pissed at you". "I'm sorry do I know you?" "REALLY?!" Red starts to edge into your vision and you exhale through your teeth. Come on keep it cool... "You must have mistaken me for someone else" Oh that's it meow! You rip out of the straight jacket and grab her by the throat through the bars. Suddenly she whispers in your ear "truce, they don't know who you are and I need you to help me find Wash". You growl and release her "I'm so sorry miss", you say civilly as gaurds rush over "I thought you were someone from project freelancer". She laughs lightly "Oh barb no I do understand however and I accept your apology". "McCallister what happened?! How did she-" "It's fine leave us be classic cause of face triggered ptsd I have some people who want to speak with her". "But ma'am!" "Open it!" They open your cell you follow her down several hallways into a interrogation room. "No cameras" she says bluntly and sits down motioning for you to do the same. "So about-"  "Wash has been reported dead I'm undercover in the UNSC and you're my last lead. "No" "what do you mean no?" "1 your a meow and I've already given you reasons for that 2 last I checked you're loyal to the director and meow him and 3 did I mention your a backstabbing lying meow?" She sighs and pulls of her helmet. "Look..." she struggles for words and for once she actually looks sad? "I meowed up...and if anyone deserves to hear that it's you but I'm not working for the director and I definitely don't believe that Wash would get killed...even if it's by Maine". You feel the color drain from you face "What the meow did he do!" "He made a deal for his freedom and was reprted dead bu some sim troopers. "Oh thank barb". "What?" "Do you know where they are?" "Yep" "then you know where Wash is" "we-" "but" you say cutting her off. She looks at you "Your taking me with you".

(A/n) heck reeeeeee the plot thickens (you guys aren't ready for what's coming next) can you believe that we've made it all the way to season 9?! I can't but boy am I happy! I hope ya'll don't mind I skipped some big stuff... I just couldn't figure out how the reader could decide to work with the meta against the reds and blues even for freedom so I cut that with insane jail time.
