I was walking Cory home, we walked in awkward silence. I was probably red by I couldn't help it. He was prettier than any girl I have ever seen, even the "prettiest girl in school" was no match for his beauty. His sky blue eyes and dark hair made me feel like I was between night and day. His skin was pale like moonlight. Sure he might have a temper and a sassy attitude but that what makes him human. I looked at him and saw he was looking at me, we both looked away. Then we kept walking for a while, I broke the silence by saying, " sorry, for the other day...... I didn't even ask to kiss you, and I know you probably don't like me like that...But I was wondering why when we were at lunch, we were holding hands under the table?" As soon as I said the and he looked shocked and his face was red as a tomato, he looked down and started shuttering, "W-well I - I k-Kinda wanted to wait to tell you this properly b-but I-I love you, like romantically." I looked at him in awe with my face probably slightly blushed, The man I love actually loved me back. He kept rambling on " I-I liked you ever since our first year, I have always loved your personality and your soft hair and grey eyes, you always find the best in people, even in ugly  assholes like me...." I grabbed his face and kissed him. Our faces were together, I could feel him ease into the kiss.  when we pulled apart, I looked at him dead serious," you are NOT ugly. if someone says otherwise then they are the asshole." Cory looked at me his blue eyes wide, then I saw tears come out of his eye. I pulled him in a hug, he shuttered out, " W-what did I ever do to deserve someone like you, your way too good for me." I cupped his face in my hands, I looked at him in the most loving way possible, I wanted him to know he was so much more than he thinks he was. he could rival the beauty of space. and his personality was being his confident self.  I wiped his tears out of his eyes. He was still looking at me and he smiled his very cute smile. I smiled back at him and we kept walking, our hands intertwined. when we got to his door, I was turning my way to leave but then I felt Cory's arms wrap around me. He said his parents wouldn't be home and asked if I would stay the night. I said yes Because I didn't want to go home anyway, no one there loves me anyway.  He led me to his room, which was covered with different planets and stars. they looked like they were painted on. Cory laughed as he saw the shock in my face. " ya know, I painted them on myself..." he said with a slight blush from empressement. In reply, I yelled a little loud,  " REALLY? YOU DID ALL THIS !" He covered my mouth with his hands. I let out a little oh sorry, and he giggled and said it's alright. we laid on his bed and we were watching some moves. I don't remember falling asleep, but I remember his soft hands running through my hair. As he kept doing that I couldn't help but feel safe and warm. because this is l the first time anyone has truly loved me. it made me happy I fell asleep with a smile on my face.

time skip the next day 

I woke up before Cory, his arms were wrapped around me. I smiled at the sight and made my way downstairs. I started making pancakes for us both. I had just finished our plates when cory came down. his hair was fluffy from a bedhead, which I found super adorable.  " moring stardust you sleep well?" I said to him as he looked at me confused by the nickname. I blushed and explained that I thought it was cute and it slipped out. he walked up to me and kissed me on the cheek and grabbed his plate from my hand. and told me to come to sit. And with my face glowing red, I went to sit down with my star and we enjoyed our food.
