(Y/N's P.O.V.)

"Y/N!" Someone screamed in my ear.

I stared up at them tiredly, "What?"

"The queen has a job for you! Yo, that's sooo cool! I wish I could work in the castle!" Monster Kid shouted.

I groaned, "I thought you wanted to be like Undyne..."

"Yeah, but working in the castle is waaaaaayyyyy cooler! You get to work for the king and queen and stuff!" Monster Kid grinned at me, "You're soooo lucky!"

I sat up on my couch and saw I was already dressed, "Tell her I'll be there in a bit..."

"Okay! Bye!" Monster Kid ran to the castle.

I put my shoes and socks on, combed my hair, and walked to the castle. It was a far walk, but the journey was amazing. I saw many friends on the way: Sans, Papyrus, Undyne, Alphys.

I breathed a whole bunch of air and let it out. I was staring at the door to New Home. I walked through and walked down the stairs. I eventually reached the garden and sitting on their thrones were King Asgore and Queen Toriel. There was a third throne, but it was smaller and empty.

I was a little confused, "I thought there was only a king and queen..."

"... yeah, well... not after a few years ago... I guess you weren't here yet..." Toriel looked at the floor.

I frowned, "Is... is the heir to the throne dead?"

"No... Never mind... it doesn't matter..." Asgore whispered.

I giggled, "You won't tell me the gender of the heir?"

"You'll see them soon. We just wanted you to help them, and... their... friend... of course, you'll get paid... but... since we have our own duties to attend to, we can't always give our child attention... that's why we called you in." Toriel explained, "Would you like to help?"

I grinned, "Of course, my queen."
