"What an idiot," Clara uttered, everyone was left speechless at Jewel's actions. All of Jewel's friends and fellow pupils were worried for her, they were dumbfounded at her death wish to run out all on her own. "We have to help her, if not spells then let's use actual things to get out," Nova said, running into the equipment room to get tools and things. The trio of Isaac, Taehyung and Nova ran up to the tower, since finding an exit space from higher ground would be beneficial to them.

Taehyung and Nova played with the tools, trying to figure out which one would be helpful to undo the structure of the metal barricades. "How useful it would be if it our powers actually worked right now ugh," Nova complained, throwing a hammer on the metal in anger, surprising both the boys.

"Breathe," Taehyung tried to pat her shoulder but she wacked it away, "BREATHE? Jewel could be dying out there right now." She exclaimed in worry, "we're all concerned for her alright, we need you to help us think of better ways with a cool mind." Isaac told her, making her relax a little. Her mental beauty was what made her the perfect Clemess student, but at times like this beauty was far from what was lingering inside her brain. She was terrified, horrible thoughts of what might be happening outside. To her friend.

Zanira had followed up behind them, scaring Taehyung who was almost murdered by him but the other 2 had no clue. Zanira silently watched them do what they did, in his times these automatic barricades were a dream as big as flying cars. "Wait," Isaac stopped Nova from working so hard on unscrewing the metal wall by placing his hand on her wrist gently.

"The barricade only stops spells right? Our individual powers still work because they don't require spells." He tilted his head, "yeah but what the hell is mind reading and water manipulation going to help with?" Taehyung replied.

"The barricade itself is charged by magic, magic that stops magic but it's still magic," Isaac struggled to get his point along to the others, "so what if the magic inside the wall is sucked out?" A person who they didn't know was listening spoke out, leaning against the wall stood Clara. "What do you mean?" Zanira crossed his arms in confusion.

"What if I siphoned the magic in the walls?"

Jewel was busy slaughtering the army one by one, she made sure she never got circled or put in a position which would be disadvantageous to her. She skilfully cut off the legs of the centaurs with her sword while using her other hand to do magic and stop the wolves. It was overwhelming her, adrenaline slowly falling as she was getting tired of the fighting. After all there were a dozen thousand troops all coming at her at once. She had tried to be smart with her magic, she did attempt to cast a spell that would freeze the entire army or teleport them to a different dimension. But there were so many of them and she was only an amateur at dealing with her powers. Her spells weren't strong enough to last.

She suddenly lost her balance at the weird shaking of the ground, an actual dragon had entered the atmosphere. It's like all hell had broken loose.

She tried to cast a spell that would render the dragon immobile but she was interrupted by a werewolf digging it's claws into her leg. She groaned as she flipped her leg over the beasts shoulders to bring him down to the floor by her side, to then slice his neck. During this distraction the dragon with fiery breath had flown to a dangerous distance from her, she was about to be burned alive when someone flew in between her and the dragon.

"Fire is my thing, bitch."

Jewel recognised it was Clara from the coral hair colour and the demons signature red light. Clara made fireballs in the pit of her palms, releasing them in a straight line to burn any creature in it. Jewel had no idea Clara's individual power was fire, they never got to be close enough to talk more. It might've been the fact that everything was on fire, but knowing that Clara saved Jewel's life whilst being petrified of her, warmed Jewel's heart.

Right as Jewel was about to stand up properly, a hand reached out to help her, "Nova," she smiled seeing her friend. She got up and swung her sword at the ready as she stood beside a girl she considered a sister despite the short time they'd known each other. A sound was heard, like something falling from the sky, it made Jewel glance up to see familiar figures jump from the height of the tower.

Isaac and Taehyung landed with a bang, it was quite the cinematic entrance. They alighted on one knee with their fists punching the ground with the momentum created with the jump. Their blue lights spread like lightning, their powers together being so powerful they made everyone around them disintegrate on the spot. Isaac glanced towards Jewel, having a smug expression.

"I thought you said you could handle yourself?" Isaac spoke, making Jewel release a smile amidst the mayhem. Nova had started casting spells on the army while Clara backed her, quite the duo they were, fire and water. Jewel, Taehyung and Isaac had gotten a little too calm about everything now that they were together as a team, they didn't notice the mad werewolf running towards them with an axe.

A figure sped behind it, digging their face into the wolves neck, cringing at the taste after draining all the blood from it. "I never did like the taste of werewolf blood," Zanira wiped the corners of his lips. "Wait aren't werewolves like really harmful to vampires? I swear their venom would kill you?" Jewel tilted her head, "which idiot told you that?" Zanira chuckled.

"Uh, the vampire diaries?" She blurted a television show she watched with much interest, realising how much it differentiated from truth.

The ground shook again, it seems as if every time that happens, something bad would come to them. The creature they were now seeing made their throats run dry, they'd never actually thought it was real. A mythical being meant to be hidden in the depths of hell was now standing before them. The face of a large human, the haunches of a lion, and the wings of a bird.

"It's a sphinx," Taehyung muttered in disbelief, thinking they were doomed, it was an all powerful creature, about 100x the size of them. "Azriel, your destiny was written long ago," the sphinx spoke to her, voice a mix of a lions growl and a normal persons. Jewel flighted up to become eye to eye with the sphinx, it was so large it had physically started to pain her neck to look up at it.

"In all my years trapped inside hell because of your mother, I should've stepped on her when I had the chance," it glared. "Bitch look at you, you're absolutely terrifying, my mother did what she had to do to make sure the kids in our realms wouldn't have nightmares because of you," Jewel replied, still levitating in front of the creature.

"You have 4 legs, razor teeth, literal wings and you're bloody huge," she looked it up and down giving it confidence, "yet my mother managed to take you on alone, how embarrassing." She chuckled, aggravating him, "so? I am now free, and I refuse to let a woman treat me like an animal again."

"You- you are an animal though-"

The sphinx cut her off by releasing a loud roar that blew her backwards with it's wind power. She regained her posture, flying back near the creatures face, staring into it's abnormally large eyes. "I could rip off your head, fly up and then stomp on your lifeless body with one of my 4 legs, there's nothing I can't do," the sphinx warned the girl who was so calm it confused it.

"But can you swim?"

Jewel snickered with the rhetorical question as she glanced down to Nova. Jewel was really just doing what she does best, stalling. Nova was summoning water from all the nearby water supplies like tanks, she garnered the liquid with all her energy. Eyes that were meant to glow red were shimmering with blue, the aqua reflected so brightly into her orbs it made them look like little diamonds. The rest of them surrounded the sphinx to levitate it. All of them exerted as much power as they could, the creature was so large it felt like lifting a mountain. After leaving it unable to move they lifted it up to the sky as Nova created a pool like place underneath it.

Falling into water from such a length turns the water into concrete, Jewel knew this from experience. After lifting it to as high as they could, they shut off their lights which caused the sphinx to fall down immediately, it's wings were frozen so it couldn't stop itself from falling at a dangerous speed.

Right as it smashed into the water Nova lifted the level of the liquid, turning it into a whirlpool which trapped the sphinx to drown helplessly while they watched. Right then Nova collapsed, the energy being way too much to handle, she had only manipulated little drops of water before. The amount she'd controlled today was the size of an ocean. The sphinx had passed out but it wasn't dead, the duo of Isaac and Taehyung were levitated up with the help of Jewel, landing on the stomach of the unconscious creature.

They weren't brothers, nor related, they were barely friends. But somehow their power combined was so unbelievably powerful, and they'd realised that today. They gave each other a little high five which created a little spark, before lighting up their hands with a sapphire colour.

"You know what spell to say?" Isaac whispered.

"Nope,"

"Same."

They chuckled, and attempted to do something no one had ever thought of doing before them, something that wasn't even thought to be possible. Taehyung's hand lay at his side, palm facing upwards as Isaac's one hovered closely above his, joining their lights and power. It created a lightning like effect, making their eyebrows naturally go up with surprise at their might. Before giving one last glance to each other, they shot the energy blast emerging from the mix of their lights.

It had so much power that when it hit the sphinx, it caused a deep whole between it's chest, spurting out it's insides in the process.

Zanira quickly jumped on the creature after the scent of its blood danced its way up his nose. He took a large bite out of the creature earning judgemental looks from the rest of them, "what I've always wanted to taste a sphinxes blood," he wiped the corners of his lips innocently. Clara rolled her eyes before firing up her magic, the boys jumped off of the creature quickly.

She burned the entire sphinx leaving it no chance to survive. Zanira had easily used his super speed to go around and kill the remainder of the army troops before they could even see him properly.
