home.

"Wait you can take me there? Why didn't you say so before? Why have I lived my life here if I can be safe there?" I fired questions at him.

"Relax I'll explain everything, and I mean EVERYTHING on the way." He said, "so do I need to pack anything or what?" I raised by eyebrow. "The clothes from here won't fit the norms in the ED, the last thing we want is for you to stand out, but you can't go there with blood on your uniform. Just go change into something else for now," he told me, pushing me to go up the stairs. I quickly pulled out anything I could find and put in on.

I walked back down the stairs, "this is ok right?" I looked at him for approval. "Not really but, there's plenty shops there, so don't worry about it." He said before looking towards the blank wall, he started tapping on it, making a familiar sounding beat, before making a large circle with the blue light in his hands, creating a portal.

"I'm sorry, you can make a portal out of the literal twinkle twinkle tune anywhere you want, yet these nutjobs used my front door to come in. I'm concerned for the iQ of everyone there," I sighed.

"Oh shut up and help me drag these 2 in." He said, pulling the bigger man as I grabbed the more creature looking one. Once we got in the portal closed and I looked around. "I have to say I'm underwhelmed." It was just so normal, it looked just like earth, "what makes you think we're there yet?" He facepalmed. We left the men there, Taehyung claimed guards would take care of them after.

"Are you sure you're okay?" He asked me. "Yeah I'm fine," I gave a short and simple reply.

"Your hands are shaking," he sighed, interlocking his fingers with mine, I yanked him away hating every moment of the skinship. He forcefully grabbed it again and started walking off. "Drop the act of being so strong, you know you want comfort," he said, making me stop the resistance. We walked for a bit, surrounded by absolute nothingness, there was just trees and it was quite eerie. It was one straight pathway.

"This is the pathway between heaven and hell." He told me, "and down there, right at the end of this long line, is the land of peace. The El Dorado," he explained. "So where should I start? What do you wanna know about yourself first?" He asked, sparking excitement inside of me, my curiosity was finally going to be fed.

"What am I?" I asked. He took a deep breath, "you're a half blood, we call you a malefic, the reason lying in it's meaning, you're capable of causing destruction, specifically by supernatural means." He said, "half what with what," I furrowed my eyebrows, "your mother is a demon... and your father is an angel." He continued, "why do you talk about him as if he were still alive?" I looked down.

"Because, he is," he hesitantly spoke making my head shoot up. "Say that again," I held his hand even tighter, the flame of hope spreading inside me faster by the minute.

"No, not the man on earth, your actual father," he slowly said. "What are you talking about?" My tight grip on his hand loosened, "he was your godfather, your dad's best friend who offered to take care of you on earth." He informed. I couldn't even speak, I didn't want to.

"So I'm a half blood? That's it? That's why I'm so fucking famous? What bullshit."

I rolled my eyes, trying to get my mind off of the fact the man who I believed to be my father lied about so many things... I wished he would've just told me. It wouldn't change anything, I would still love him, after all he is the man who raised me just like a real father. It's just a feeling of, being treated like a fool my entire life.

"You don't get it Jackson, half bloods don't exist. Do you think your parents were the first to fall in love? Many many tried, for thousands of years, it was declared impossible for a half blood to be born since the mixture of the bloods was too powerful. The woman would die as soon as she were impregnated along with the baby in the womb," he continued to go into detail. "But then how am I-"

"THAT'S WHAT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. How are you alive? You shouldn't have," he sighed, massaging his temples with his left hand, still interlocking fingers with me.

"Lived? Is that what you wanna say?" I scoffed. "Half bloods are meant to be the strongest beings, the best of us. And you come from royal blood, making you even more powerful," he said.

"Royal?" I spoke making him chuckle.

"What did your, godfather work as on earth?" He suddenly questioned. "Uhm, he was a part time worker at the local bakery, why?" I replied, extremely confused. "Right, and remind me which baker owns that big of a fucking house?" He stopped in his steps, tilting his head to look at me.

"Your parents arranged a suitable house for you both to reside in, that mansion type house doesn't fall from the skies. Your mother is the ruler of the underworld, more specifically, hell. And your father rules the skies. Which makes it even more ridiculous that you survived considering royal blood is strong," he said as we continued to walk.

"You know you sound really disappointed that I'm alive." I detached my hand from his, he was explaining things so inconsiderately. And him grasping my hand to offer comfort while saying those rude words just didn't sit well with me.

"No, that's not what I meant," he told me, grabbing my hand again. Having no strength or willpower to fight it, I just let him hold it. "But I don't understand, why did I live on earth my whole life? Why couldn't I live with my real parents?" I questioned.

"Because of the prophecy," he began.

"There's a prophecy about half bloods. They would die, or they would be the last ones standing. You're destined to destroy the world," he said calmly.

"Like I said, all half bloods die at birth, which is why everyone believes the prophecy. It's said that the one who would survive, would be so powerful, the fate of the universe would lie in the palm of their hands. I think that's why your godfather kept everything magical so confidential from you, he was worried that the prophecy would be true," he informed.

"As a punishment for putting the entire magical world in chaos, your parents were forced not to meet. You were banned from the El Dorado for the safety of everyone," he said making me pause in my steps. "Wait so why are we going there? I'm banned aren't I? I'll be denied access, let's just go back before I have to face embarrassment," I tugged at his sleeve.

"No no, the ban was lifted last year," he sighed, looking like he didn't want to continue. "Last year? What happened, last year?" I questioned yet again.

"Seojun. He was an angel," he confessed.

"Is it fun?" I looked at him in the eyes, "what?" Confusion displayed all over his face.

"Is it fun to say absolutely anything to me because you think I'll believe it? Seojun's a what, an angel? Very fucking funny," I glared at him. "I'm serious, he spent his whole life on earth because his father sent him there." Taehyung spoke. I took a deep breath, my entire life was filled with lies, "but I don't understand, what does last years incident have anything to do with my ban being lifted?" I said.

"Have patience I'm getting there." He ruffled his hair, "Seojun wasn't so fond of his dad, Mr Yoon was one of your fathers many friends and he was willing to send his only child down there to stay by your side. And he hated him for that, he was apart from his mom who he loved a lot even though they only met during summer vacation."

He continued, "that's why he disappeared during summer holidays," I thought to myself, feeling like I was about to lose it. Feelings were overwhelming me, I had a massive headache. "Should I continue or should we stop for the day?" He bent down to my level to look me in the eyes. "Finish," I weakly commanded.

"You know how I said that, we have our own individual powers?" He closed his eyes tight, despising every second of telling me what he was about to."Well Seojun's power was uhm, he could look into the future, and see alternate realities. That day, it wasn't his death that was originally supposed to take place. He looked into the future and saw that they'd kill you, but then he glanced into an alternate reality where he came with you after school."

"And in that reality he died, knowing that he went with you. For whatever reason the nefarious were there to kill you for, they didn't. Let's just say they were more than happy to take his life instead, they knew he was your happiness. He sent a letter to his mum telling her about what he planned to do, he told her he was going to sacrifice himself, and she couldn't stop him because she received it after he died." Taehyung explained further, making me lose all strength in my legs, dropped down onto the hard floor.

"The magic ministry agreed that he wouldn't have given up his own life for any reason. They knew he must've looked even further into the future which showed him a reason for you to live instead of him. And in respect for his sacrifice," he continued, helping me up.

"The ban was lifted."
