After looking at my eye colour their confidence hindered slightly, they watched my eyes get fuelled with power.

"We aren't allowed to kill you, but we don't mind torturing you, it was quite fun last time," Ravan chuckled. "Oh but brother, it can't compare to the pleasure we received from killing Seojun," Seth spoke, aggravating me. They held hands, merging their power just like Isaac and Taehyung did, but it was different. It was so dark, so evil it felt like their light alone could consume me. But that made sense, they were the children of Satan's right hand man.

They were predictable, I could tell they were stalling with talking so their magic would be stronger. "Now now brothers, that's enough, anyone would think our princess was going to cry," Sya taunted, slightly squeezing her brothers hand to signal a surprise attack.

All their bodies released a surge of vileness, combining as it came towards me as a huge red smoke bomb. My reflexes came in handy as I threw my fist in the air, lighting my magic before smashing my knuckles into the concrete. By doing so I created a reflective shield, emulating their dark magic right back to them which caused a blast of energy to come their way. Ending in their hands detaching, and landing away from each other as they fell off of their feet in pain.

I watched in amusement while watching them suffer in the pain they attempted to put me through. They must've casted one lethal fucking spell considering how much they were groaning.

"Ah do you remember how the little future teller sat there so easily for death. How pathetic he looked," Rael spoke after recovering from the pain, still not managing to get back onto his feet. He purposely broadened the blaze inside me to such an extent that it could be compared to a forest fire.

"Say that again, I dare you."

"Alright, how about I go into real detail about how it felt to cast that spell on those ropes? Did I tell you I put thorns on it? I watched them slowly dig into his skin while he played to be strong and act like they weren't paining him. The colour left his skin while joy crept up mine, it was truly the best day of my life." Rael spoke making my fists scrunch up so tightly my own nails made me bleed. "Daring a daredevil? What, did you want to cry?" Sya chuckled at her brothers comments.

"Pissing off a malefic? Do you want to die?"

I controlled all 4 of their bodies effortlessly, they tried to cast their own spells but I made sure that wasn't possible with my other hand. I drained them of their power before snapping my fingers to make ropes appear. "Look familiar to you?" I slowly walked over to their bodies, tying that one long rope around all of their necks. "Killing us won't bring Seojun back!" Ravan screamed, "no but it certainly will bring me euphoria." I simply said, taking slow walks around them before flicking around my violet light, activating the kill on the ropes.

They were losing oxygen, faces turning red while they struggled to be free. "WE'RE SORRY!" Seth yelled, apologising as a last resort, pleading to stay alive, their powers had left them. "You look so worthless, so pathetic... I love it," I watched them almost completely pass out when I paused the spell on the ropes. They all broke out in chesty coughs from almost dying, "we will never forget your mercy." Ravan told me, trying to undo the knots on the ropes as fast as he could.

"Mercy is what heroes give, they're capable of forgiveness and I do admire them for that. They believe in second chances, redemption is something they hope villains can achieve," I spoke, making Sya smile, "thank you for giving us this chance. Our father taught us to be evil and nothing else, we can go on the right route-"

"Oh you've misunderstood me," I cut off her melodrama, she didn't mean anything she said and I could see it in her eyes. The things people do to survive. "I said that's what heroes do, unfortunately for you..."

"I am no hero."

I lifted all of them from the ground, surprising them with the sudden action. Their legs kicked around in mid air, struggling which was like candy to my orbs. I didn't see people. I saw animals. I saw villains who took the life of Seojun and many other innocents, they had no remorse in their actions. And maybe they could change, everyone can, but they don't deserve to get that chance.

Looking at them gave me memories of Seojun smiling, happy, living. The pile of emotions flew tears into my eyes, threatening to drop any second. I took deep breaths, now having both my hands keep them in the air under my control. And then? I scrunched my fists.

Turning them into ash.

-claps-

I looked to the entrance to see another figure walk in yet again, I was ready to let out even more anger on whoever this was until I recognised them. Without thinking I ran into their embrace, "you shouldn't be here, it's not safe- wait... how did you...?" I paused in my words as I detached myself from the hug to look at him. He bursted into laughter right in my face to mock me.

"No..."

I took steps back, the tears that had filled my eyes before were now dripping down my face in disappointment. It was Mr Kim.

"Well I did promise you I'd be back soon, your powers are more exceptional than I thought. A couple weeks of activation and you're already nearing the level of what I taught Seohyun. She was just a test subject, you're my real deal, you said I was like your father. Be like my daughter and come to me, we'll win the world, we'll have it all," he said. Zanira's hands were scrunched, and I could practically hear his heart racing fast out of anger, he was seeing the man that caused him to spend 200 years hidden in a cell.

"You killed my family," Zanira spat, his fingers tingling to rip Mr Kim's heart out. "I don't even remember who you are, might be the age, I am 300 years old," Jin responded with the most inconsiderate tone. He slaughtered his entire bloodline and had the audacity to say he didn't remember it. It only proved how abysmal he really was. Zanira sped towards him, about to attack him when his wrist was held so firmly yet Mr Kim wasn't even trying.

"You underestimate me son," he chuckled, snapping his neck in an instant making me gasp slightly. "He won't die relax, just be out for a bit, I'd like to speak to you without an upset idiot getting in the way, like get over it am I right?" He tried to crack a joke but we were all very unamused, I just looked at him. Thinking about when I lost him, only to realise he was never really there.

I couldn't face the truth that was slapped across my cheek. "Oh Jewel stop being so dramatic, you really didn't see this coming? I truly did want to let you know who I was but you just never seemed to fall for my traps, which was why I had to make you stronger in other ways, you know, like killing your loved ones and sending people after you. You got your memories back, why don't you piece the story together?" He told me.

"Seojun a bad but respectful student skipping the great Mr Kim's lesson? You didn't think anything was off with his change of plan that day? I guess I overestimated you. Think about it Jewel, the quadruplets were so sure that their plan was going to go smoothly, what changed?" He tilted his head.

"Seojun skipped your lesson so you ran out the school behind us to call him back. You saw your children about to kill me and you stopped them, you being there changed. And the reality of an alternate universe came to be..." I numbly spoke out, realising everything. "You following me everywhere I moved wasn't protection, it was obsession. You being there for me wasn't an act of kindness, it was to make me blindly believe everything you did. You're crazy..." I felt like such a fool. I loved him, he wasn't just a father figure he was practically a best friend. I wiped my tears and cleared my throat.

"But go on, we both know you want more from me than just to rule the world, you want something else," I spoke out wanting him to hurt me all at once. I wanted to have his disgusting intentions come out quicker. "You're the daughter of Ivey."

"No shit," I spat.

"The blood of Ivey runs through your veins, you share the same blood as Satan." He spoke, "and you're a dickhead," I said out of the blue making him furrow his eyebrows. "I thought we were stating the obvious?" I innocently shrugged. "It means you can do and undo the same spells as your ancestors," he continued, making me pause before a look of fright took over me.

"You want me to release Satan out of the red stone don't you..." I muttered, "ah there's my genius," he chuckled.

I turned around, walking away with a straight face, not even knowing how to express the bullshit that my life makes me feel.

"Don't turn your back on me," Jin sternly spoke, "or what? You can't kill me if I beat you to it." I turned around, dagger in hand. "Join me Jewel, rejoice with my power, you don't understand what we're capable of doing together, and when Satan joins us? There's no stopping what we can do." He spoke to me warmly like he always did.

"I prefer death."

Blood dripped down my chest as the knife pricked into my skin, stinging me yet I didn't express it.

"You'll just hypnotise me, you have the picture, you have your anchor. I know what you'll do, I refuse to help destroy the world." I told him creating a little bit of momentum before shutting my eyes, preparing myself to be stabbed in the heart.

"I didn't destroy Seojun's soul."

I paused.

Dagger an inch away from my chest when I opened my eyes, flaring with hope. "Don't you dare lie to me," I grabbed his collar with trembling lips. "You think I was looking for the picture to use it as an anchor?" He furrowed his eyebrows.

"You know even your friend Heon realised something was off with it, but you who had it in your phone case for an entire year didn't think a single thing was off?" He spoke making me go into deep thought, it was true. The picture would have times where it left me so convinced that it was haunted or something.

"It's not an anchor darling, it was mercy. I let you be with your lover all the time, I trapped Seojun's soul inside that picture."

My eyes naturally widened while my mouth struggled to not drop in shock. But I couldn't let myself get distracted by his words, first job was to rid this man of the world, to ensure safety for everyone, I couldn't let my personal issues meddle with that. I rested my hands on my side, making a circle with my index finger which signalled my friends behind me to slowly surround Mr Kim.

Tae and Isaac casted spells on Jin's hands shutting them so tight he wouldn't be able to open them for spells, while Nova created a whirlpool climbing up his body. Clara refrained from using her fire because of the earlier incident but that was ok, I made the flame instead. All of us stepping back as it circled Jin to trap him inside. Then an awoken Zanira took his opportunity to run past the fire, and rip out Mr Kim's heart.

We all stood in silence, "that was... easy?" We kind of questioned the weirdness of him not even resisting or attempting to fight back. It reminded me of how Seojun dealt with last years incident.

"Hey Jackson, why didn't you tell me your favourite teacher was the nefarious leader?" Taehyung spoke out making all of us look at him in question of his stupidity.

"Oh because I'm on their side."

"OBVIOUSLY I DIDN'T KNOW."

I screamed at him making him flinch, I was just so overwhelmed with everything. I shouldn't be, I mean c'mon people lying to me? What's new? Mr Kim was my only truth, but even he turned out to be a liar.

"That shouldn't be happening should it..." Isaac looked towards Mr Kim's body which was levitating in the air, some sort of red light surrounding him.

"Uh, remember when you asked about a healing spell? There is one... it requires so much strength it often kills those who cast it, but it's also forbidden because it doesn't just heal wounds. It can heal things like cancer, it can heal you from recent death."

"Making you immortal."
