"Once you care about a person, it's impossible to be logical about them anymore.."

It was a beautiful morning, to say the least.

After my older brother, Itachi, was informed about my condition, he immediately hired more maids to do the household chores for me -which is really annoying- because he, himself couldn't come too see my condition, 'coz of his never-ending business trips around Europe.

How thoughtful isn't it?

And to think that he even banned me from school! Wait, well.. maybe he is kinda right on that one though.

I forgot. I am blind after all.

And in my opinion, it is completely devastating. I feel useless now! I can't even step a foot without bumping into something!

Argh! I hate this f*cking life!

But, if we take a look at the bright side, my girlfriend is more caring to me now. Sakura is now like my 'personal nurse' after what happened.

Every morning, around 5 am, she'd always visit me to wake me up. And after that, she would always support me in walking outside to get some fresh air and cook me breakfast afterwards before giving me a peck on the lips and a sweet 'I love you, so much' then head off to school.

Which is surely what she will do in the next few minutes.

"Sasuke, I-"

"Take care, Blossom. I love you." I cut her off as I sat on the couch after having breakfast with her. I heard her giggle and sighed.

"Oh Sasuke.. things really haven't changed at all, ne?"

She said. I felt her presence as she sat next to me. She wrapped her arms around me and cuddled. Oh God, how I love this girl too much..

"And it never will."

"Aw.. Of course Sasu-kun! I love you too much to change anything we have!"

And then, as expected, she pecked my lips and bid her goodbye.

After I heard the door shut, I groaned. "Tsk. Another 8 hours without my girlfriend, is just a living hell." But I know that, even though how long I complain of her absence, I can't do anything about it.

Even though how badly I wanted to pull her out of her class and cuddle in the couch and chat about nonsense all day, I just couldn't.

Being blind is such a pain in the ass.

But as long as my Sakura is still with me, I can face anything..

And so, I spent my morning doing my usual routines; either by walking my guide dog, ( a.k.a. Yuru ) in the backyard garden, or simply sit, call the maids for food, and do completely nothing..

What joy.

By this moment, I am currently sitting on the mini bench just in front of the house. Listening to the endless 'tick-tock' sounds from the father clock, my grandfather inherited me with; Waiting for the time to pass so I could see- scratch that, hear and feel, her again.

It was nothing but a pleasant afternoon, I persume. Based from the fairly hot weather and the striking sound of the clock which was only meant to do so at exactly twelve noon.

I sighed.

Three more hours..

I promise. One day, if I'm not going to die because of an accident with my blindness, I'll surely die from boredom!

It has been a more than three hours already! Where is she?

It's not like her to be this late.

You see, every afternoon, after her class, she'd always run straight to visit me again. That's the reason why I wait for her every single afternoon in the first place.

"Mika!"

I called one of the maids. And in just a few seconds, she came running next to me. "Yes, you called Sasuke-sama?" She politely asked.

"Get my phone and dial Sakura's number. Now." I ordered as she dashed off to get my cellphone.

Damn it. What on Earth is taking her so long?!

Mika returned and handed me my phone. As I impatiently waited for her to answer, the ringing on the other line stopped.

"Hello, Sakura? Hey, Blossom, why are you-"

"Hey! This is Sakura. I'm not home right now, and so if you want to tell me something, just leave a message after the beep. Thanks."

I was cut off by the answering machine. She's not home? Then where is she? Did something bad happen to her?!

There was a long beep on the other side of the line.

I took a deep breathe and tried to calm my ranging nerves. As I was about to tell the machine my message,

"Arf! Arf! Arf!"

Yuru barked as I heard the gates open. I immeditely stood up. "Sakura?" I called, hoping it would be her.

"Oh Sasuke-teme~!"

Ugh.

"Naruto, what are you doing here?" I asked, a little annoyed as I felt my bestfriend grinned. "Hehe.. Stubborn as always Teme. Anyway, I came here to visit you. Dattebayo!"

I again, sighed in frustration.

"Naruto, have you seen Sakura? She was suppose to be here almost an hour ago. And when I called her, the answering machine answered, saying she wasn't home.. I'm getting worried." I told him with all honesty.

"Wow. Teme, Sakura-chan really brought out the soft side of you.. You weren't like that to anyone before she came."

"I guess so." I replied and sat on the bench. I felt my bestfriend sat there next to me.

"Well, um.. I did ran into her thirty minutes ago."

"And?"

"She said that, her and Gaara are going to his house to do our Art project together, since.. ah.. you couldn't be her partner, Iruka-sensei picked Gaara to.. replace you." Naruto said. I can hear the uncertaincy in his usually hyper voice.

"Replace me? What about in the other subjects?"

"Uh.. yeah. All of our teachers, kinda made her and Gaara partners too in everything."

It was true. Ever since Sakura came, me and her are always partners in everything. Heck, that was the reason we became close to each other and developed our feeling for one another!

I'm happy that nothing happened to her. But, knowing that Gaara was the one who replaced me in being her partner and now their probably enjoying theirselves at the moment, I don't know anymore.. Because,

I should be the one with her.

"Oi, Teme! You okay?"

"Uh.. yeah. Dobe, thanks for telling me. I'm glad that she's safe."

"Hm.. don't tell me that your jealous Teme. Are you?"

"Hn. Of course not."

Liar.

"Tsk. You are a bad liar Sasuke. Don't try to hide your feelings from me Teme! I know you like the back of my hand!"

"....."

"Fine. Even though you're lying about you not being all jelly, I'll help ya!"

"And how?"

"Ohoh, so someones interested, eh? Anyway, since you yourself couldn't monitor your girlfriend in school, I, your best bud, will do so! I'll be your eyes and ears Teme! Believe it!"

And with that, I smiled a little.

Hn. Idiot as always Dobe.. Thank you.

Ring.. Ring.. Riiiiinnng.. Riiiii-

"Hello?"

"Hi Sasuke-kun! This is me, Sakura. I'm now at-"

"Gaara's house?"

"Yeah, and we're doing an-"

"Art project?"

"Uh huh, and me and Gaara are assigned to be-"

"Partners."

"Uh.. yes. And he kinda-"

"Replaced me."

"Yes- I mean No! No! It's not like that Sasuke. No one could ever replace you. ( Gaara's voice: Hey Saku-chan, what's taking that call too long? ) A-Anyway, I better go now."

"Wait, Blossom, take care and I lo-"

"See you in the morning, bye!" Just when I was about to say the three magic words to her, the line ended.

"..love you." I only mumbled to myself as I laid on my bed. Wishing she heard that. And deep inside,

Wishing she said that to me before she ran back to Gaara..
