[TORD POV]
I was suddenly snapped back into reality. "Tord? Were you listening?" His cheerful and optimistic voice brought me back. I looked at the green hooded boy, dumbfounded, I asked him what he said. He chuckled softly and sighed, "I said when do you want to meet Tom and Matt?" He asked once again, right. I'm going to meet Edd's roommates, he invited me to guys night. Unfortunately guys night is just going to eat then going to the arcade where Edd and I met. Whatever, at least I can meet new people and do things I like, but if I'm honest, I'm terrified. Anxiety is a bitch, I hope it's not a problem when I meet them. Who am I kidding, of course I will get anxiety! New people, new opinions, new point of views, new enemies. I sighed, "Let's go now" I just want to get it over with. He squealed in delight, he grabbed my hand and dragged me outside. He had his phone in his other hand and was on a call, "Matt! Are you at the restaurant? No? Good! Because me and Tord aren't either. Let's meet there! Bye bye!" The call ended and Edd shoved me in his car, he looked so excited. I was gripping the seatbelt. It's okay Tord, you're fine everything is going to be fine. I started calming myself down, I closed my eyes and started to breathe. In and out, you're fine. We started arriving at the restaurant, the name could barely be read, Edd told me that his future self tried killing him with a laser gun here. Man, Edd and his imagination. We parked and Edd grabbed out his phone and started texting, "They said they'll be here in three minutes. So we can wait till then." I sink into the seat, I look out the window, my stomach is just killing me. Butterflies fill my whole body, I start to breath heavily, I feel a hand on my shoulder. I look over to the comforting hand, he smiled lightly at me and told me everything would be alright. Edd knows how much new people freak me out, when we met I was trying to pretend to be cocky and confident with my game playing. But in reality I was to scared of talking to him so I tried impressing with my "skills", quote on quote. I heard Edd un-buckle his seat belt, Everything will be okay! It'll be great! New friends new places, you'll be okay. I sighed in relief as I calmed myself down,  we got out the car and we see two tall figures walking towards us. My whole body shut down, no no no, this can't be happening. I look up at him, he looked down at me. "T-Thomas! Thomas! I- I don't-" I start to panic inside. I started stepping back, Edd held on to me, worry washed his face. "Um..do you guys know each other..?" He asked in a hushed tone, Tom had a blank stare but then smiled. "Yeah, I think we have met before" his smile looked almost broken, I quince, quilt took hold of my whole body. The tallest one, Matt, came between us. "Guys! Let's go in!!! I'm starving!!" He whined and went inside, Edd grabbed me and wrapped his arm around me. "Come on Tord, dinners on me." I looked back at Tom, he looked like he was trying to figure something out. I sat next to Edd in the booth, I was sitting in front of Tom, my body near the window. I felt him staring at me, I felt like I was about to erupt in tears. We ordered, well, Edd ordered for me. When I tried speaking it all came out as gibberish, Edd still had a worried look on his face. Tom cleared his throat and spoke up, "how have you been?" He asked me a a very calm tone, I was screaming inside. I didn't respond, "I haven't heard from you since high school. Have you um..met anyone?" There was no way out of this, I can't get up because Edd is on the edge. Edd interrupted, "WAIT. YOU GUYS KNEW EACH OTHER THAT LONG?! WHY DID YOU STOP TALK TO ONE ANOTHER?????" I sighed in annoyance, "Fine! " I sighed in defeat "I'll tell you what happened.."
