I'm sorry but I can't really picture them together. Kris is sort of a perfectionist, and Free's late 70% of the time. Sure they care about each other but they remind me of siblings, not lovers. 

Also, Kris is 5 years older than Free. F I V E.

Again it projects the big sister/little brother relationship. 

I mean I don't really mind the ship, but it annoys me when people try to defend the ship and their argument is "Beyblade characters are straight, not gay."
