Here we are again with a chapter from the 'Shoe Story'.
I hope you have a wonderful day and a little bit time to relax, or maybe more then a little? Let's see. Hopefully you like the chapter.🥰💓
This couldn't be happening, Take-chi cursed inwardly as he tumbled headfirst out of his hiding place and into the mud. "Shit." he muttered as he became acutely aware of everyone staring at him. 'Now just don't show your face...' maybe this would work, after all he was covered in dirt, from top to bottom. But of course he was out of luck, there just weren't many humans in the area, so the spitters knew immediately who they were looking at. And of course, much to his dismay, they didn't let his spying go uncommented on.
"Our little princess, well, too stupid to simply stand now? Look at that, a muckraker, little Take-chichi. Shall we change his nappies? Who knows, maybe he peed his panties, right Aki-chi, that would be nothing new." Yan-san said, and Take-chi would have liked to disappear completely into the swampy forest floor, why did this stupid jerk still have to tease him about wetting his bed from time to time until he was 10 years old? And then in front of this... human, possibly the only one he had ever and would ever get to see. That wasn't fair...
The turquoise-haired man, however, didn't seem to be really interested in him at all... He looked into the forest to his left, squinting his eyes as if he had seen something there. Take-chi was a little relieved, so the stranger certainly didn't get what Yan-san had said either.
The handsome brown-haired man finally got up and tried to brush the roughest dirt off himself. There was no way he was going to act weak or submissive now, which was why he turned to Yan with an annoyed expression.
"Watch your tongue, or you might find yourself as sick as you were a fortnight ago after your next meal," he heard the dwarf gasp in outrage but also disbelief, and a somewhat smug feeling anchored itself in his stomach. While it hadn't necessarily been intentional for Yan-san to have a tainted mushroom in his rice, it suited him perfectly to show the dwarf where he stood.
But what was that feeling? He had never spoken to them like this before and it was a satisfaction to see that, small as they were, they would actually stand no chance against him. Was it because there was another human here, a man who would otherwise watch him make a fool of himself in front of the dwarves? Did his kind have this influence on each other? In any case, he didn't think there was really a better explanation.
The tall turquoise-haired man was now staring at Take-chi with his big eyes, he seemed to have piqued his interest... This embarrassed the prince rather quickly and he buried his head a little in his shirt. The dwarves were still grumbling a little, but this didn't seem to bother either of the humans much. The stranger laughed in that low voice, at Take-chi's behaviour. Then he spoke.
"So you are Take-chi, the princess? I thought you'd be a bit more feminine," the words made the brown-haired man turn bright red and he was already pouting as the other continued. "Oh, I don't mind, you're rather cute. My name is Tou-nii by the way, nice to meet you."
Quickly Take-chi swallowed his anger, there was really no time for that now. "Pleased to meet you..." he murmured back shyly. "We're still here too, you know that right?", Aki-chi's voice admonished. "No, no one will be forgotten here Aki. But you will give me the time to get to know this lovely man before we should silence him, won't you?" Tou-nii continued, still sounding deep, somewhat playful, almost as if he was trying to seduce Take-chi, but the latter understood after about half a minute what the man had just said.
"Ehh? Silencing... making me silent? But why that.....?" This was as far as he got, before he felt a thud from behind and his eyes went black. He slumped and lost consciousness.
The turquoise-haired man sighed, "Satisfied? I'm sure the blow won't make him remember anything so quickly. Yo-tan, you were careful not to hurt him seriously, right? Now let's tie him to that tree over there.", a shorter man with long hair and some tattoos had joined them, he was wearing very loose trousers and a tank top. At Tou-nii's question, he nodded. Surprisingly, some of the dwarves seemed to wear a worried expression. But only Ayuka... dared to speak.
"We are supposed to leave him alone, but what if something happens to him? What if the others find out, they would murder us.... I don't quite approve..." restrained agreement followed from the other dwarves. "Very well, we will leave someone there to guard him, will it be you now, Ayuka...?", the thought of having to stay alone in the forest with someone who had fainted sent a shiver through the very small, black-haired dwarf's whole body, but he remained brave. "All right, I'll keep an eye on him from the thicket, you go on," you could hear how much his voice trembled at that.
Tou-nii nodded at him and then turned away. "On we go."
