Day 2

Ezim

Hello Corinne

Only 23 days until Christmas and half of it, I may sweeten for you a little.

Do you like chocolate? I mean the real chocolate, dark, tart and bittersweet, maybe with a hint of strawberry flavor? Yes? What a coincidence
I love this noble note too and confess to falling into unearthly thoughts while enjoying it. My whole consciousness then revolves only in a vast universe, together with alien planets in distant galaxies and luminous stardust around pretty, small-bodied beings whose palms and soles are covered with thousands of tiny suction cups and whose antennae resemble a dandelion. The IUCHIS are a very special species, they have supernatural powers, can teleport from one place to another and even slip into other creatures for a short time.
You already know what I'm talking about, and you're probably wondering why I'm repeating all this when you've long been familiar with it. Well, that is quite simple to explain:

It all started with the "Naive Astronaut" and so, on a few days of Advent, I want to send you back into space, to the place where our heroes first met. But also "Suddenly we start again" and the latest continuing story, will be hidden behind my advent doors.

So, look forward to some amusing, but also very melancholic flashbacks and to the future of Mori, respectively Taka, Toru, Hichan, Takuyan, Shinji, Daya, Maho, April and all the others involved in:
"Hello from the other side".
Of course, the baby issue will also be settled, and we may welcome one or the other new character.

And now I wish you a calmly and contemplative time before Christmas.

Yours Ezim

Naive Astronaut

Torio Yamatosh, the blond Russian astronaut, is on an expedition in space. Despite his handicap of being confined to a wheelchair, he is obsessed with finding an alien.

And as it seems, he has already found it ...

"Dong, dong, dong!" Torio knocked hard on the side of the ship and listened reverently.

"Tack ... tack ..." Came back timidly, like a shy "hello." The astronaut's excitement rose enormously, his heart hammered so hard in his chest that it already hurt, and yet his fingers slid across the ceiling toward the observation hatch, as if he wanted to pull that something out there with him. He felt it, and this time even more strongly. In his mind appeared again the big dark eyes, which he had noticed days ago, just for a short moment, so intense and so pretty.

"A little more," he whispered, putting both hands on the glass.

"You're there, ... I'm sure of it. Come on. Don't be afraid.' Tensely he looked into the infinite depth of space, forgetting everything around him, concentrating only on ...

Hair! ... long, dark and wavy, suddenly blew tangled into the astronaut's field of vision.

"I don't believe it, ... you are ... are here and ... and no illusion. My pretty doe-eyed, ... my beautiful alien." Torio's deep voice seemed to attract the creature. Thin fingers now sucked at the glass from the outside and disappeared entirely behind the big hands of the expectant man. And all of a sudden they were then in front of him, wide-open almond-shaped eyes, so deep brown and beautiful, fixing Torio curiously.

"..."

The blond was speechless, captivated by that intimate gaze, fascinated and unable to think. There it was, an alien creature, hovering right in front of him, and actually he should photograph it immediately, or even capture it, so that his long-awaited study could finally begin, but this was completely impossible at that moment. Torio was afraid that the slightest movement would frighten the alien away and he might not get a second chance to gain the trust of this species. He didn't want to risk anything, because he was so close to it, only this disk lay between them, which all at once began to vibrate.

Within the next few breaths, the astronaut felt the heat on his palms and was abruptly brought back to reality. The porthole suddenly burned like red-hot coals, but he couldn't let go, and certainly didn't want to. Torio was used to pain, so he tried to withstand it, but after a few seconds even that limit was reached. "Arg, ... don't, ... stop, ... please," he pressed through his clenched teeth and tears ran down his reddened cheeks, but the suction on his hands grew stronger and the Russian thought he was melting into his attacker. The first curious look of the creature disappeared. Despair and fear could now be seen in the large doe eyes and the full rosy lips formed a sad pout.

"You ... you're going to burn me. ... Ahhh! Noooo!"

The astronaut's desperate cry brought the two robots out of their stupor, and they immediately ran toward their master in alarm, scolding each other excitedly. Of course, the alien was already gone and Torio was free again, but he kept his eyes fixed on the hatch in the hope that he hadn't scared the alien away, but there was nothing but darkness. Bitterly, he closed his eyes, overwhelmed by this apparition and the throbbing pain it had left behind. "It ... it was so hot ..." he muttered in a muffled voice, and Ryota was beside himself:

"Holy shit! We're going to burn up! Explode! Fizzle out, and scatter into space!" he wailed, looking at Torio's hands in horror.

"Don't be talking bullshit!" Tomoya had long since realized the situation and was wrapping cold lacquer over the injured areas.

"It wouldn't let me go ... it was ..."

"It?" his companion interrupted the blond man. "Seriously? ... I'm telling you, it's not a good sign when the casing of our space capsule is hot as a baked potato. ... And this sudden loss of power? Somehow, we were drained of juice. Our batteries were completely drained." The robot shook its tin head in confusion and energetically ordered its crony to act immediately: "Ryo! Stop clunking and check the on-board computer! Go! We have to land as soon as possible. We need a doctor!" In no time at all, as fast as it was possible in a weightless space, the still somewhat shocked assistant got to work and was astonished about the coordinates on the board computer...

The rocket remained intact, and the crew landed unharmed
