i took the very first flight to korea.

while i was in school, my father sent me periodical presents and money in monthly little care packages he probably sent me out of guilt. the school didn't allow me to keep any of the presents, since personal artifacts were not allowed in the dorms.

but the money was given to me and just piled up under my bed. i couldn't use any of it because i couldn't go out, and soon i didn't know where to put it.

seeing the outside world again made me more resentful of my dad. he had not only taken yoongi from me, but also four years of my life that i would never get back.

i was an adult now, and i wouldn't let him stop me from being happy.
