This Saturday morning, I was bouncing up and down all over the place, waiting for my friends to come over. We had planned another afternoon at my pool and I was really excited to see them.

I saw the first car pull into the drive way and recognized Thomas's dad. His son hopped out of the car and he waved at me before hastily driving away. I stared at Thomas who was going up the front porch's steps with a goofy grin which wouldn't leave my face.

He hugged me and was about to kiss me when my little brother ran out of the house to greet him. He derived his kiss to my cheek and ruffled my little brother's hair. He said hi to the rest of my family, and we waited a few seconds in front of the house. Soon another car arrived. Nat came out and looked at me, then at Thomas, and back at me again slyly.

We hugged her hello and Caleb came next. Thomas ran to greet him and Nat slid a question discreetly from my side. "How long have you two been here, alone, together?" She cheekily smiles. "Five seconds," I laugh. She rolls her eyes, and turns her head back to the boys who are coming towards us. We both smile and finally see Kaila walk nonchalantly, grinning at all of us.

"Everyone's here!" I chuckle. "Let's go!"

After a while, we decide do rest under the gentle sun, to tan. "Hey Lyzy," Nat starts.

"Yeah?" I mumble, half asleep, the warm air surrounding me.

"I don't think I really love Zack," she confesses. I open my eyes, wide. "I mean, I realized he isn't really my type... I'm more into mysterious guys, who have a lot to be discovered... You know what I mean?"

"Sure," I smile. "Everyone has their tastes..." I close my eyes back. The slight breeze was rocking me to sleep when two pairs of hands grabbed my wrists and my ankles. I screamed and squirmed around, trying to escape the boys' grips. In vain. I crossed eye sight with Thomas and glared warningly at him. I realized what they were about to do and filled my lungs with a such as air possible. They threw me in the water and I swam to the surface furiously.

"What was that for?!" I yell.

"Nothing," Thomas raised a provocative eye brows. "We were just bored..."

"Haha," I mutter sarcastically. "Did you have your fun?" He ignored me and jumped in. We played some more until the sun set and I turned on the swimming pool's lights.

"Wow..." Everyone whispers in awe. We just swam quietly together, chatting about this and that. I got bored and stopped swimming. Thomas noticed and swam to me. "Is something wrong?" He asks. I smiled and kissed him. He was taken aback from the surprise but shook it off. He smiled against my lips and kissed me back.

The quiet splashing of the others swimming slowly quieted down and I peeked at them over Thomas's shoulder. They were staring at us unbelievingly. I grinned happily and prepared myself mentally to explain everything to my friends. Kaila high fived Natalie.

"Good job, my Cupid partner!" She proudly sings.

"Lyzy broke the Young Zone..." Natalie breaths. Everyone laughed.

Hello hello hello! :D I hope you enjoyed this story as much as I loved writing it down! This is my first completed story and I feel some kind of special happiness of having accomplished something big. HaHAha! *can't stop smiling*

This story was inspired mostly from my life story. Of course, I added some things to spice things up in order to keep things interesting! I was really young-zoned all my life, and probably still will be. *cries*

Most of the events like Thomas's birthday, the Strip Poker scene, and Matt's letter and calculator declaration, etc... Really happened to me. But in real life I stayed single. *sighs* I did crush really hard on the equivalent of the character Zack in real life, but sadly, we just stayed classmates.

And I never really crushed on the equivalent of Thomas either, we just stayed really good friends, and still are! Even if Lyzy broke the Young Zone, I still stayed a hopeless romantic and decided to write about it hahaha!
