Richie exits his bedroom, gently closes the door behind him, slowly walks down the stairs, and turns to the living room. He walks towards the house phone and dials Gil's landline. 

At Rizzo's residence, Gil was in the living room watching a movie on TV since his mother and younger sisters were asleep. His brown eyes blinked when he heard the landline ring. He raised an eyebrow since it was late at night. 

Due to being the only man in the house, Gil decided to pick up the call. He stands up and walks towards the landline. He grabs the phone and puts it against his right ear. 

" This is Rizzo's residence. Who's speaking?" Gil firmly asked. 

" Gil. It's me, Richie." Richie responded. 

" Rich?" Gil raised an eyebrow. " Everything alright? It's close to midnight," His brown eyes widened in realization. " Wait! Is Ronnie okay? Is she home yet? Has Zuko dropped her off?" He asked, sounding concerned. 

" Veronica is fine. She made it home before midnight. Leo dropped her off," Richie reassured. 

Gil looked at the TV with mixed emotions. " Leo? Why did she come home with Leo and not Zuko?" He asked. 

" Get your car. I will call Potato and Shy Guy since they live near me, so meet us at my place. Something happened that I want you three to hear," Richie firmly speaks and hangs up. 

Gil looked at the landline with mixed emotions. He puts it away and slowly walks up the stairs to his bedroom. He opens the door and enters his room, gently closing the door behind him. 

" It must be serious that Richie is hosting an emergency T-Bird meeting," Gil mumbled. He removes his pajamas and wears a short sleeve white shirt, blue jeans, and sneakers. He looked at his surroundings and spotted his leather jacket with a T-Bird logo on the back. 

" Zuko. What did you do?" Gil softly asked while grabbing the T-Bird jacket and putting it on. 

Gil exits his bedroom, gently closes the door behind him, slowly walks down the stairs, and turns to the living room. He walks towards the kitchen counter and grabs his car keys. 

" Where are you going?" A feminine voice asked, grabbing Gil's attention. 

Gil's brown eyes widened, and he turned around, seeing Betty. 

" Betty!" Gil hisses. " What are you doing awake? It's almost midnight. Go back to sleep," He firmly speaks. 

" It's summer vacation. That means I can wake up and sleep at whatever time I want," Betty remarked. 

Gil annoyingly rolled his brown eyes. 

" I don't have that much time. I got to get going to Richie's place. Something came up. So, please, go to sleep," Gil motioned Betty to the stairs. 

Betty's brown eyes narrowed. 

" Did something happen to Ronnie?" Betty asked, looking at Gil sternly. 

" Ronnie is home—safe and sound. So, go to sleep," Gil urgers. 

" No," Betty shakes her head. " I know Ronnie. If she came home early, something happened between her and Zuko. I'll go with you to keep Ronnie company. I'll be back. If I come back and you're gone, I will slash your tires with the keys the next time I see you," She threatened. 

Gil watched Betty walk up the stairs. He groaned and brushed his hair back with his right hand, looking annoyed. 

A few minutes later, Betty returns, wearing a dark grey Rydell's PE uniform shirt, dark blue jeans, and black flats. 

Gil's brown eyes blinked, looking at the shirt with mixed emotions. 

" Is that my old PE uniform shirt?" Gil asked. 

" Yes. I stole it after you graduated. Now, let's go," Betty responded. She walks towards the door, opens it, and steps out of the house with Gil following her. 

Gil locks the front door, turns around, and walks towards his car. He unlocked the vehicle and watched Betty get inside. 

" Could you have waited for me to open the door for you?" Gil asked. 

" No! We need to get going. Ronnie needs me," Betty firmly responded. 

Gil amusingly shakes his head. He opens the driver's door and gets inside the car. He turns on the vehicle, waits for the engine to heat up, and then drives away. 

Betty rolls the window a little and lets the night breeze hit her on the face. She silently watched the houses go by, looking at the scenery with mixed emotions. 

' Zuko. If you made my girl cry, I would cut your dick and balls off with Gil's pocket knife,' Betty internally threatened. 

Thirty minutes later, Gil and Betty arrived at Valdovinos' residence. Gil parks the car on the driveway and turns it off. He looked forward and saw Richie, Potato, and Shy Guy sitting on the porch steps. His brown eyes blinked, hearing the passenger door open and close. He looked away, seeing Betty leave the vehicle. 

Richie's brown eyes blinked, looking surprised to see Betty walking towards him and the boys. 

" Hey, Betty," Richie looks at Betty. 

" Hey. I'm here to keep Ronnie company. Can I come in?" Betty asked. 

Richie nodded and stood up, happy that Betty cared about Ronnie's well-being. 

Potato looked at Betty and smiled at her. 

" Hola, Betty! You have grown into a beautiful Mariposa since the last time I saw you," Potato speaks. 

Betty looks at Potato. 

" I look like a what?" Betty asked with a raised eyebrow. 

" He says you have grown into a beautiful Butterfly since the last time he saw you," Shy Guy translated. 

" Oh," Betty blushes, feeling flattered. 

" Hey! No flirting with my baby sister," Gil firmly speaks, walking towards the others. 

Betty annoyingly rolled her brown eyes. 

" It was nice seeing you, Potato and Shy Guy," Betty smiled at the two older teens. 

Potato and Shy Guy nodded, watching Betty enter the house with Richie. 

" Hey," Gil snapped his fingers, causing Potato and Shy Guy to look at him. 

" Did Richie tell you what happened?" Gil asked. 

" No. We were waiting for you," Shy Guy responded. 

A few minutes later, Richie returned after escorting Betty to Ronnie's bedroom. He was surprised that his baby sister wasn't asleep. And instead, found her sitting on the bed, wrapped up in her blanket like a burrito, with tears falling from her deep blue eyes. 

" I'm going to kill him," Richie murmured while closing and locking the door behind him. 

Gil, Shy Guy, and Potato looked at each other worryingly.

" Rich. You got arrested last time for nearly killing someone," Gil warned. 

" Who are we killing?" Potato asked, looking curious. " Can we stop by a gas station to get some snacks?" He smiled. 

Shy Guy lightly bites his lips, getting nervous, and he shakes his head when he hears Potato requesting to go to a gas station for snacks. 

" Zuko," Richie growled. 

" Frankie? What did he do now?" Potato asked with a raised eyebrow. 

" Not, Frankie, you idiot! He's talking about his kid brother," Gil looks at Potato. 

" Oh. Danny. I remember him. He likes to flirt with all the ladies around him, unlike Frankie. Once Frankie found a girl he loved, he stayed loyal to her," Potato remembered. 

Richie's forehead twitches. 

" Danny needs to learn to be like his big brother and stop his playing ways," Richie's hands tightened into fists. 

" Let's go get him," Richie walks towards Gil's car. " He was using Kenickie's car. So, he is probably either dropping the car off and sleeping over at Kenickie's place or heading to his place and then dropping the car off later on in the day," He turns to look at the guys. 

Potato and Shy Guy stand up and follow Richie to Gil's car. They turned and saw Gil looking at them worryingly. 

" Before we leave, what will we do to the kid?" Gil asked. 

Potato and Shy Guy turned their gaze to Richie. 

Richie's brown eyes intently stared at Gil. 

" I'm going to take his jacket. If he genuinely wants to be a T-Bird, he needs to earn it," Richie firmly speaks. 

Gil, Potato, and Shy Guy looked at each other. They immediately figured that Danny Zuko truly screwed up with Ronnie if a nice guy like Richie wanted Danny to earn his status if he wanted to become a genuine T-Bird.
