Thirty minutes later, Leo and Ronnie finished eating. The waitress stopped by their table and gave them the receipt. Leo takes it, looks at it, and hands it back to the waitress with his debit card. Leo watched the waitress skate to the cashier.

" Thank you for buying my food and milkshake, Leo," Ronnie softly smiled.

Leo glanced at Ronnie and smiled at her.

" No problem," Leo responded.

The waitress returns with Leo's debit card and hands it to him. She waved goodbye and watched Leo and Ronnie leave the Frosty Palace.

Leo walks with Ronnie to the car. He unlocks the vehicle, opens the passenger door, and puts his hand on top.

Ronnie gets inside the car and puts on the seatbelt. She watched Leo close the passenger door, walk around the vehicle, and get inside.

Leo turns on the car and waits for the engine to heat up. He glanced at Ronnie, seeing her look at him worryingly.

" What's wrong?" Leo asked.

" It's my brother," Ronnie lightly bites her lips, getting worried.

" What about Richie?" Leo raised an eyebrow.

" He's probably expecting Danny to drop me off," Ronnie nervously plays with her fingers. " I don't want you to get in trouble because of me," She mumbled.

" Don't worry. I'll tell Richie I was saving a beautiful damsel in distress from her ugly Beast," Leo teased.

Ronnie's deep blue eyes widened, and she blushed, getting embarrassed.

" Leo!" Ronnie playfully punched Leo's right shoulder.

" Sorry. Sorry," Leo laughs, finding Ronnie's blushing face adorable. " I'll say that you and Zuko had a problem, and seeing you at the Drive-In was a coincidence. And you were uncomfortable being alone, and you noticed me and asked me to take you home," He smiled.

Ronnie calmed down and nodded.

Leo reversed the car, drove to the right, left the parking lot, and onto the busy street.

Ronnie looked out the window. Her deep blue eyes blinked when she saw the window go down, and she could feel the night breeze hit her face.

" Wasn't sure if you needed fresh air," Leo says while looking at the road.

Ronnie closed her deep blue eyes, feeling relaxed. " Thank you," She softly spoke, which Leo heard.

" Oh. You two are first name bases?"

" He's my friend, Danny!"

" From the way he looked at you doesn't seem like a friend!"

" Our Mom knows each other, Danny! That's how I know, Leo!"

" You're beautiful, Ronnie! I don't like it when other guys look at you differently."

" Leo knows you are my boyfriend!"

" Good. If I ever see Crater-Face near you again. There is going to be trouble."

" You cannot control who I can and cannot see, Danny Zuko! You know what. Let's take a break. I'm not too fond of this behavior of yours. I want you to figure out what you did wrong! You can find me at my house or the Boutique when you do. Since this whole summer, I will be busy working and trying to get my driver's license."

" Ronnie! Where are you going?"

" Home! And let go of me, Zuko. You are hurting me!"

" I can't let you go! I promise Richie I'd bring you home before midnight."

" I said, LET GO OF ME!"

A tear fell from Ronnie's eyes as she lightly rubbed her bruised right wrist.

" Vonnie," Leo calls out, grabbing Ronnie's attention. " We're here," He turns his gaze to Ronnie.

Ronnie wiped her tears away with Leo's jacket arm sleeve.

Leo looks at Ronnie worryingly.

" Thank you for bringing me home," Ronnie turns her gaze to Leo and smiles at him.

" Let me walk you home. My Mom would kill me if you walked to your place by yourself," Leo says while turning the car off.

Leo exits the car, walks around, opens the passenger door, and puts his hand on top.

Ronnie got out of the car and watched Leo close the passenger door. She takes off the Scorpion's jacket and hands it to him.

" Thanks again for taking me out of that place and bringing me to Frosty Palace to eat and finally bringing me home," Ronnie says while turning to her house.

" No need to thank me. I'm glad I was there at the right time," Leo smiles while walking Ronnie to the front door.

Ronnie saw lights inside the house but didn't want to wake anyone up if she rang the doorbell. She knocked on the door and heard footsteps approach the door.

The door opened, revealing Richie wearing a white muscle shirt and black basketball shorts. He hasn't fallen asleep because he has been watching TV in the living room, waiting for Ronnie to come home. Their parents, Irene and Raul, and their sister, Olivia, were asleep.

Richie's dark brown eyes blinked when he saw Ronnie with Leo, not Danny. He opened the door fully and looked at his surroundings, not seeing Danny or Kenickie's car.

" Hey, Veronica. I'm happy you're back home from your date," Richie looks at Ronnie.

Ronnie awkwardly stared at her red heels, hearing Richie mention her date.

" It's getting cold," Ronnie says, lifting her head to look at Richie.

" Yeah. Come inside," Richie stepped to the side and watched Ronnie enter.

Ronnie stood by the stairs and turned to look at Leo. " Thanks again for bringing me home, Leo. I'll see you at the Boutique," She softly smiled and waved goodbye.

Leo nodded and waved goodbye, watching Ronnie walk up the stairs. He heard a cough and looked away, seeing Richie look at him from head to toe.

" What happened?" Richie firmly asked. " It's great seeing you, kid. But I was expecting Zuko to drop my baby sister off," He stepped outside and closed the door gently.

Leo puts on his Scorpion jacket and shoves his hands inside. He glanced to the left and briefly looked up, seeing the light getting turned on from the inside, which he figured was Ronnie's bedroom.

" I was at the Drive-In with my friends," Leo begins to speak.

Richie nodded.

" I heard my name and saw Vonnie by the Snack Bar, alone," Leo looks at Richie.

Richie leans against the door and looks at Leo.

" It turned out Zuko was using the restroom, and she was waiting for their orders," Leo's hands tightened into fists inside his jacket pockets.

" There's more to it, right?" Richie asked.

Leo nodded.

" Zuko didn't like that Vonnie, and I knew each other. He got defensive, and I was not fond of how he spoke to Vonnie. I watched them get their food and leave. As my friends and I were waiting for our food, five minutes later, my friend, Andy, nudged me and told me that Vonnie was heading in our direction. I turned and saw her running to us, but she was crying," Leo looked at Richie and then at the ground angrily.

Richie's gaze darkened.

" My baby sister was crying," Richie stood straight and grabbed Leo's jacket collar.

Leo calmly stared at Richie, understanding his anger.

" Did she-Did she tell you why she cried?" Richie firmly asked.

Leo glanced at Ronnie's bedroom, which was not dark, letting him know she had fallen asleep. He looks back at Richie and tells the older teen about his and Ronnie's conversation at Frosty Palace.

" You don't have to answer this question. But what happened at the Drive-In? Did Zuko do something to you that made you uncomfortable?"

" We got into an argument. Danny was acting like a child. Telling me who I can and cannot hang out with."

" I'm sorry if I caused some misunderstanding."

" You didn't do anything wrong!"

" Zuko hurt you?"

" ...."

" I cannot believe that asshole hurt you! I'm going to kill him!"

" Don't! Stay here, please. I don't want to be alone."

" Alright."

Richie's dark brown eyes widen, looking at Leo with mixed emotions when he hears that Danny has hurt Ronnie. He pulls his hands away from Leo's jacket collar.

" Thank you for bringing my baby sister home, Leo." Richie lightly pats Leo's shoulder. " Drive home safely, okay? And stay home, please. Also, tell your friends to head home if they are still out and about," He looks at Leo.

Leo's brown eyes intently stared at Richie's dark brown eyes. He couldn't help but sense a dangerous aura from the other male.

' Zuko has reawakened The Devil of Rydell,' Leo internally speaks. He recalled stories of Richie nearly killing someone and getting expelled from Rydell High because of it, but he was able to return to school because of certain people giving the principal at the time hush money. And thus, rumors spread around, and everyone in Rydell dubbed Richie the Devil of Rydell.

" Okay. Have a good night," Leo nodded. He waves goodbye, turns around, and walks towards his car.

Richie silently watched Leo get inside the car and drive away. He turns and enters the house. He slowly walks up the stairs to his bedroom.

Richie removes his pajamas and wears a short-sleeved white shirt, black jeans, and sneakers. He looked at his surroundings and spotted his leather jacket with a T-Bird logo on the back.

" Haven't worn this for a year now," Richie whispered. " I need to call the boys. This asshole needs to be taught a lesson," He grabs the T-Bird jacket and puts it on.
