Red's POV

"Ty, go get the rest of them." I commanded him. "B-but-" "GO!" I yelled at him. He scampered off, I scared him. I faceplanted.

Notch, sometimes I really hate my tough side. The princess looked around, startled. "W-where am I? Who are you? What did you mean by 'the rest of them'?"

She's shooting off the questions so fast it'll be a year before I can squeeze a word in. "Woah, woah, woah!" I cut her off before my little "prophecy" comes true.

"You're still in the Snow Kingdom-" -she exhales- "Trust me, there was a huge fight between two of us about whether or not we should keep you here or take you to a hospital outside of the kingdom. I'm Red."

I don't extend my hand. I'm not really good at being friendly, and the thing is, I really don't want to be.

The princess sits on the bed, staring at me intently, waiting for the final answer. "The 'rest of us' is the rest of our small group."

I start counting off the members of our group on my fingers. "First there's Sky, who wears sunglasses and a purple and gold amulet. By the way, call it budder around him. If you don't, he'll go ballistic."

She nodded, and I hope she understood what I meant by "ballistic". He nearly took my head off once when I got into an argument with him about whether it was budder or gold.

I continued on with the names. "Jerome, he's a bacca. Then there's Mitch, he wears a red and black checked hoodie and a gold dog tag. He's Jerome's best friend. Ty, or Deadlox, is the little boy you just saw. Last but not least is Jason, he's from space. He never takes his spacesuit off."

The princess looked at me, confusion practically written in a black marker on her forehead. Ugh. More questions.

"Why doesn't he take off his helmet?" I had to bite my lip to contain a sigh of annoyance. She was the princess of this kingdom, after all. She could get me arrested if I made her angry.

"He isn't sure if he can breathe the air on this planet." "Oh." She bends her legs so she is resting her chin on her knees, and stares at her feet in silence.

Oh, crap. Did I just indimidate the princess? "Was that guy that I saw...a part of your team?" She continued to stare at her feet. "What guy?" I ask, suddenly curious. Was the princess crazy?

"That guy in the purple helm." She said. As if that helped anything. "No." I say, and she turns away from me. "Seto...he said his name was Seto.." I hear her mumble. Oh my Notch, the princess was crazy.

After a few minutes, I heard the sound of footsteps running towards us. The princess must of heard them too, because she looked over her shoulder, seemingly curious.

Soon, the figures of Ty, Mitch, Jerome, Sky, and Jason came into the light where I could see them clearly. As the princess saw them, she turned her head away.

They stopped once they got to the bed. Jerome and Sky stole a glance at each other, then quickly looked away. Wow. The tension between them was so thick that you could cut it with a knife.

Jason was the first to approach the bed. He smiled at the princess, his naturally happy attitude finally helping.

"Hi! I'm Jason, what's your name?" "I'm Olivia." She spoke almost under a whisper.

"That's a pretty name." Olivia looked up at Jason and smiled. Thank Notch for Jason. Sky came up to her next, and turned on his happy-go-lucky attitude. "Hi! I'm Sky! Do you like budder?" He shouted.

Olivia looked up at him. "What's budder?" She asked innocently. "You don't know what budder is?" He asked, feigning surprise. Olivia shook her head. "I HAVE SO MUCH TO TEACH YOU!!!!" Sky yelled,jumping around the small alleyway, which made Olivia giggle.

Seto's POV

I used the last of my magic to fly up to the top branch of my tree to make myself a regeneration potion. I flipped through my notebook, grabbed the right ingredients, and set the potion on my brewer.

I flopped down on the bed that I kept up on the branch in case I was up here late at night and I was too tired to fly downstairs. Translation: I slept in this bed a lot.

As I stared up at the celing made of leaves, I thought about the girl. She was so pretty. I liked everything about her. Oh, man. I sat up. I was crushing, big time.
